Harry stormed down the
stairs from the Headmaster’s office, all the negative emotions from the past
few months welling up inside him. Dumbledore keeping secrets
from him, ‘for his own good’. class=GramE>Sirius’s recent death, and the long months of imprisonment that
drove him to such recklessness. Snape’s not so well hidden joy at
Harry’s suffering. Umbitchclass=GramE> and the Inquisitorial Squad. class=GramE>Mariettaclass=GramE>’s betrayal of the DA, and
Cho’s defense of her.

Mariettastyle='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";mso-bidi-font-family:Arial;
mso-ansi-language:EN-US'> had betrayed the DA, nearly gotten Harry (not to mention
the others, if they had been caught) expelled, and forced Dumbledore to go into
hiding! Cho knew all of this, and she
still defended her? Harry knew a few things about sticking up for friends, but
he felt that this was taking it a bit far.

He also felt that lang=EN-US style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";mso-bidi-font-family:
Arial;mso-ansi-language:EN-US'>Mariettalang=EN-US style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";mso-bidi-font-family:

had ‘SNEAK’ spelled out in pimples
all over her face, and they didn’t look to be fading any time soon, but that
seemed to be it. Sometimes, Hermione was a little too understanding for anyone’s good.

It was nearly curfew, but
Harry just couldn’t go back to lang=EN-US style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";mso-bidi-font-family:

in his head. With Snape in no-one’s good graces at the moment, except possibly
Dumbledore’s, and with the slack that Dumbledore and the other teachers were
cutting him since the Department of Mysteries, Harry thought that it would be
safe to go for a walk, just to clear his head.

With no real idea where he
was going, Harry wandered through the halls, trying to calm himself down, with
very limited success. Harry was jerked out of his fuming thoughts, however, by
voices up ahead. Not wanting to be caught by the Inquisitorial Squad again, as
they had yet to have their power fully revoked, Harry ducked behind a suit of
armor, waiting to see which way the voices were going.

To his seemingly
everlasting bad luck, the voiced continued toward him, and Harry shrank deeper
into the shadows. He was just thinking of a good way to escape when the voices
came around the corner, and Harry got the shock of at least a while.

Harry’s life tended to
involve shocks on a fairly regular basis, but seeing Ron, Neville and Dean
heading back toward the Room of Requirement, levitating lang=EN-US style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";mso-bidi-font-family:
Arial;mso-ansi-language:EN-US'>Mariettalang=EN-US style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";mso-bidi-font-family:

this year.

The trio was keeping a
close watch out, so there were no loud surprises when Harry stepped out of the
shadows. “What are you doing? Why is the traitor with you?”

mso-ansi-language:EN-US'>’s eyes, the only part of her that could still move,
widened in horror at seeing him. The three boys exchanged glances, and then
Neville stepped forward to answer. “We didn’t think that a bad case of acne was
a good enough punishment. We’re going to the Room of Requirement to come up
with something better.”

Harry nodded. That sounded
good to him. “Mind if I tag along? We shouldn’t stand around talking, and I’d
like a chat with the Bitch who nearly got me expelled.”

The other Gryffindors

mso-ansi-language:EN-US'> closed her eyes, but not before they all saw the fear
in them. The small group looked to see if anyone else was around, and moved off
