‘‘Seems Prongs is in the dog house again’’ Sirius said with his ear presses against the closed door.

‘‘Sirius’’ Remus said as he rounded the corner ‘‘get away from that door immediately’’

‘‘But Moony’’ Sirius whinned

‘‘Don’t Moony me, Sirius’’ Remus started ‘‘You know what happened last time and you had nightmares about it for weeks’’

‘‘But that was because I looked through the keyhole’’ Sirius stated proudly ‘‘I won’t do that this time’’ and went back to listening through the door.

‘‘Sirius stop that right now’’ Remus said.

‘‘Ow...owww...owwww...Moooonyyyyyyyyyyy’’ Sirius cried ‘‘let...owwww...owwww...goooo’’

With that Remus let go of Sirius ear just as...

‘‘Uncle Padfoot, Uncle Moony’’ yelled a girl, with a lightning bolt scar on her left cheek and red hair and hazel eyes, as she ran to them.

‘‘If it isn’t our little flower’’ Sirius said as he lifted the girl up.

‘‘What are you doing here Rose?’’ asked Remus

‘‘Me and Rose wanted to see her new baby brother’’ said Albus Dumbledore ‘‘Isn’t that right Rose’’

‘‘Yep, Grandpa Albus’’ Rose stated happily

Just then there was a cry and then another and James burst out of the room and upon seeing Rose. He rushed over to her and lifted her out of Sirius’s arms and spun her around.

‘‘You have two baby brothers now, Princess’’ James said to Rose.

‘‘Really Daddy’’ Rose said giggling at being spun around.

‘‘Yep.’’ James said ‘‘Lets all go see them’’

With that James went back through the doors carrying Rose, with Remus, Sirius and lastly Dumbledore following.

‘‘This is our first son Michael James Potter’’ James said indicating the baby Lily was holding with Red hair the same as Lily’s and Rose’s and at the noise he opened his eyes to reveal hazel eyes the same as James’s and Rose’s and as they looked closer they saw a lightning bolt scar on his forehead.

‘‘Michael for Lily’s father and James for me’’ James stated smugly ‘‘and the one Healer Thompson is holding is our second son, Harry Lucas Potter’’ as he indicated the baby the healer was cleaning, but as the healer saw Dumbledore she said

‘‘Albus Dumbledore’’ and immediately bowed, however her arm hit a tray of surgical instruments, used for the caesarean on Lily for the twins to be born, causing the instruments to fly everywhere and some to fall on baby Harry causing him to cry out. The healer quickly cast healing charms on him, but as she cleaned him up she noticed ‘‘Oh it appears the cut scarred. I’m so sorry’’

‘‘That must be from Michael and Rose’s magic because of their love for their brother and trying to heal him’’ Dumbledore said

But if anyone had run a scan on Harry to check for recent injuries, they would see that he had been born with the lightning bolt scar on his right shoulder and a cut had been healed on his chest from the knife cutting him.

It had been a six months since the twins were born and Sirius, Remus and Dumbledore had come to the Godric’s Hollow to see the Potter’s.

‘‘James I need to speak to you and Lily’’ Albus said.

‘‘Sure Lily’s just putting Rose to bed’’ James said and led them to a study and then went to get his wife.

When the Potter’s arrived every one was already seated and as the Potter’s took their seats, Dumbledore started talking.

‘‘Peter Pettigrew was arrested by aurors earlier today and under veritaserum he admitted to being a death eater.’’

‘‘How could Peter turn to him’’ James said in shock

‘‘I’m afraid it’s worse than that’’ Dumbledore said ‘‘as you had decided that Peter would be your secret keeper he had gone to his master and informed him of that. Once you were under the Fedilius Charm he was going to give your location to Voldemort and you would have been killed.’’

‘‘That rat I’ll kill him’’ Sirius shouted standing up.

‘‘Sirius calm down’’ Remus said.

‘‘Remus is right, Sirius, we don’t want you going to azkaban’’ Lily said ‘‘You can’t be Michael’s god father in azkaban’’

‘‘Y...you wnat me to be his godfather’’ Sirius asked

‘‘Yep’’ James said ‘‘With Alice Longbottom as Rose’s godmother and we want Sirius as Michael’s godfather and Remus as Harry’s godfather. If you’d accept that is?’’

‘‘Of course we will’’ Remus said and turned to Sirius who just nodded still in shock.

‘‘That’s perfect’’ Lily said ‘‘but why would Voldemort come after us?’’

‘‘The Prophecy’’ Albus said

‘‘So it really is our family’’ Lily said clutching James.

‘‘Yes I’m afraid it is’’ Albus said ‘‘The full prophecy is...

‘‘They need to be trained so that they are ready when they fight him.’’ Albus said ‘‘Voldemort and his death eaters are quiet for now. It appears Voldemort is trying to recruit magical creatures to his cause and with many of his death eaters in Azkaban, it’ll take a while before his forces are powerful enough to take over’’

With that said they discussed the children’s training and that it would start right away and that although Michael couldn't talk yet and neither children would fully understand, they decided that they would benefit greatly from being exposed to as much magic as possible. But in all of this planning they forgot all about baby Harry up in the nursery.

The months passed and Rose and Michael were showered in praise and love and although the Potter’s and their close friends loved Harry, they just didn’t seem to have much time for him.

As Rose and the twins birthday’s came and passed, they didn’t know what to do. It seemed that no one cared about Harry except them. When anyone saw the Potter’s they’d ask about Rose and Michael and take pictures of the family, but never mentioning Harry. Even the papers forgot Harry. The papers ran an addition where it talked about the day of their birth and life up until now. The Potter’s and close friends were all mentioned, but Harry wasn’t even though he was Michael’s twin.

So at fifteen months the Potter’s gave Harry to the Dursley’s and explained to them that they would send money to cover everything Harry needed, food, clothes, toys etc. They left Harry with his toys, clothes, pictures of them together as a family and letters explaining to Harry why they had to leave him and never had any contact with him after that. No letters, calls, visits nothing. No one ever came to check on Harry.

If only they did, the Dursley’s could of been stopped.
