A Malfoy Never Loses
A/N: This is set in Draco's 6th year. The Dark Lord has already won the war, except that Dumbledore was allowed to live and so was Harry. More will be revealed later. Enjoy!
Draco sat in the common room, not bothering to listen to Marcus Flint, this years perfect babble on about nothing. Instead, he lets his eyes drift over to the new girl who had been homeschooled for the first six years of her Wizard Schooling. Her name is Jessy Riddle, which is odd because she doesn't seem cruel enough to be a Riddle, but she sure does look like her dad.
Jessy has raven black hair to her shoulders, pale skin, and dark red eyes. She's sitting too close to Blaise for Draco's comfort. He smirked to himself when Millicent Bulstrode sits down on Blaise's lap. Draco didn't notice the look Pansy was giving him and Jessy because Jessy looked up to meet Draco's eyes.
"Marcus, can you show me my room?" Jessy asks a little loud, noticing Malfoy's eyes on her.
"Jess, I thought Dumbledork told you?" He asks her, trying not to gain too much attention. He knew what she was doing, and he could tell by the murderous look on Draco's face, that yes, in fact it was working.
"Told me what?" She asks, trying not to smile at the look on Lucious' son's face.
"You're staying in my room. In the prefects dorm." Marcus tells her with a grin.
That's about the time the first years started whispering along with the second and third years. Jessy smiles to herself as the Malfoy boy walks up to her.
"Hi Malfoy." She greets him.
"It's Draco." He snaps.
"Down boy." Marcus tells him, walking up to them.
"No!" Draco hollars.
Marcus gives Draco a warning look before turning to Jessy. He smiles at her and kisses her on the forehead.
"Hey!" Draco yells at Marcus, pushing between the two.
The look Marcus gives Draco sends chills up Blaise's spine. Blaise quickly gathers all the younger years he can find and pushes them towards the dorms. He leaves the fifth and sixth years to watch.
"All of you get lost. Now." Marcus growls at the rest of the kids.
When all of the students are finally gone Marcus turns on Jessy, forgetting that Draco is still there.
"What'd you do? All I told you to do was to hit on him. Make him want you. Not make him think you belonged to him." Marcus yells.
"I did what you asked. And as far as belonging to anyone. I belong to no one!" Jessy yells back.
Marcus backhands Jessy.
"That's for talking back." He growls, his voice dangerously low.
Jessy sits in the chair, tears stinging her eyes, and puts her hand to her face. Marcus had never hit her. Not in the entire six years they had been together. Draco moves closer to Jessy when a voice stops him cold.
"Don't touch her Malfoy."
Marcus goes pale as he gets on his knees and bows his head. Draco kneels down next to Marcus, as his Master walks further into the room.
"Dad." Jessy whimpers when Marcus glares at her.
"Jessica. Have you done anything to deserve this punishment?" Her father asks her.
Jessy looks up at her father who had apperead in his younger form to confront Flint.
"No Father." She replies, staring at Marcus.
"Flint. Stand up."
Marcus manages to get to his feet, his head still bowed.
"Why did you hit my daughter?" The Dark Lord asks him.
"She deliberately disobeyed me." Marcus tells him, his voice strong.
"How?"
"She fooled Malfoy here into thinking she belonged to him." He answers, his voice shaking slightly.
"Your father will be displeased to hear that his son has raised a hand to his Master's daughter, and that he is no longer courting her."
Marcus lifted his head and turned to face Jessy, his eyes flashing.
"This is all your fault Jessy. If you had just said what I told you to say, Malfoy would have never gotten us into this mess. I never would have hit you." He yells.
"Marcus, you have never hit me in all the years we've been together. I stand up for myself once, and you lose all control of yourself. I thought I could respect you." She snickers at him and shakes her head.
"Jessy, please..." Marcus pleads.
"Flint. You're dismissed." The Dark Lord tells him coldly.
Marcus leaves without looking back. Jessy stares at the spot where her loving fiance had been standing. Strangely she felt nothing but relief. She knew that it wouldn't last long. Any minute now her Father would be appointing her, her next fiance.
"Jessica."
"Yes Father?"
"Malfoy here seems to have taken a liking to you. I want you to report back to me during Break and we will make a decision then."
With that her father disappears into a thick fog. Blaise walks towards Jessy, but stops when he sees Draco take her in his arms. Jealousy consumes him, but instead of confronting the couple, he walks back up to the dorms and sits on his bed to wait for Malfoy.
"I'm going to bed." Jessy tells Draco, who had taken a seat on the couch.
Draco just nods, trying to get his head around how he won his prize without a fight. Jessy tosses a pillow at one end of the couch and pulls Draco into a laying position next to her.
Pansy had been hoping to catch Draco before bed, but she had heard that the Dark Lord was in and she didn't want to see him when she was angry with his daughter, so she had just went to bed. Now she was up early, hoping to catch Draco in the Common Room before breakfast. Looking around she hears someone move around on the couch. Sighing she turns to the couch, debating whether or not she wants to sit there.
Draco groans and notices that he has Jessy in his arms, her head pillowed on his arm. Draco hears a sigh and looks over the couch. Seeing the back of Pansy's head he lays his head back down next to Jessy's, hoping Pansy will leave.
Pansy walks around the couch and stares in shock at the couple before her anger finally takes ahold.
"DRACO!" Pansy shrieks.
Jessy groans and opens her eyes. Before her is a wild looking Pansy, staring at her with rage in her eyes. Draco sits up with Jessy, laying his head on her shoulder and smirking at Pansy.
"Listen up slut, you are not taking my Drakie away from me." Pansy growls, her eyes glistening with tears.
Jessy just laughs at her, causing the tears to slide down her face and her eyes to grow darker.
"Perhaps you don't know me. I'm Jessica Riddle and Miss Parkinson, I do believe that your Master would warn you against threatening me and my fiance."
With that Pansy lets out a scream and throws herself at Jessy. Jessy laughs down at Pansy from the other side of the couch.
"Missed me bitch." She taunts Pansy, smirking.
Draco gapes at her, blinking his eyes. She had just been on the couch with him. Now she was on the other side.
Pansy lets out another scream and launches herself over the couch at Jessy. Laughing, Jessy steps on Pansy's back.
"Like I said, missed me. Now I'd cool it before I have to summon some friends to deal with you." Jessy tells her, her voice cold, no longer filled with amusement.
"Can't you deal with me yourself? Or am I too tough for you?" Pansy growls, pusing Jessy's foot off her.
Jessy laughs as Pansy stands up, taking her wand out of her robes.
"What're you going to do Parkinson? Hex me? I'm soooo scared." Jessy taunts again, laughing louder.
Some of the first years had come downstairs and were watching the scene play out before them.
"I'll curse you so bad Riddle, that you won't remember who you are." Pansy threatens.
"Listen to me, and listen good Parkinson. If you like your father and your mother even a little bit. I'd stop this right now." Jessy threatens, her voice low and dangerous.
"You wouldn't, and you couldn't." Pansy says, lifting her head.
"Who's going to stop me? The minister? Right, the minister is soon going to be my father-in-law. There are no Auror's any more Pansy. Have you forgotten who's in charge?" Jessy growls.
The look on Pansy's face is priceless.
"Now get out of my way you pug-faced slut. I'm not dealing with trash like you." Jessy snaps.
Pansy stumbles back a few feet and watches as Jessy walks out of the Common Room, leaving the first years in fear, and the rest of the Slytherins cheering and following her.
Jessy had made her mark on the Slytherins. None of them were going to cross her now. That was all that was running through her head. She didn't even notice the crowd behind her, or the hurt, angry, and jealous Blaise she had left in the corridor, nor did she care that Pansy was sitting by the fire crying to her parents about what had happened, or that her "fiance" was sitting with Pansy, trying to comfort her.
