A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
This story follows my understanding (or contrivance) of the themes in Panic! at the Disco's "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out". Clearly I own no part of their music and any lyrics posted belong to them, and I make no money from the use of their materials.
My album/fics follow a very specific patter: One chapter for every song, plus the summary, and possibly an additional author's note at the end. The beginning and end of each chapter features a few select lines from the song the chapter is based off of. These serve to set the mood of the progression of the story. This story is half written, but fully outlined, and will be continued upon completion of the editing process.
Summary:
When Lucius Malfoy discovers a secret concerning his son and The Boy Wonder, he enlists the unlikely assistance of the youngest Weasley to bend events in both of their favours. Will he coerce her into compromising her principles to get what she always wanted? And how will Draco react to having the man he loves taken away from him?
Setting:
This story is slightly AUish in the sense that (once again) I'm ignoring the whole Voldemort/Deatheater thing... I'm just not going to mention it. Is he dead? Did he ever exist? Are they still fighting? Did everyone just give up and go home? Did Voldemort slip in the tub and die?
I'll just have to say that yes, Draco's father was a Deatheater, but... maybe he just paid a bunch of money and got off, I'm not at all certain, as it doesn't effect the story
I invite you (once again, once again) to critique me, offer suggestions, tell me you love me, tell me you hate me (hopefully that one doesn't exist)
