Things Happen

"Come on Hermione it’s a big day come celebrate with us". Ron urged as walked up to his best friend. "You can’t sit out side all day".

"I know, I will be right in Ron, by the way have you seen Harry?"

Ron snickered "he is in the first floor broom closet with my baby sister."

Hermione stared in shock at her friend "and you are ok with that?"

"Yeah he said turning a little red if Ginny has to be with someone then I want it to be my other best friend" Hermione smiled at the fact that Ron was finally growing up in some ways. They had decided six months ago that they were better off as friends instead of boyfriend and girlfriend and it has been going great. Hermione watched Ron walk off towards the great hall where there was a huge party celebrating Voldemort’s downfall, whom Harry had defeated two weeks earlier. She could hear the music and laughter pouring out of the great hall and she stood up to head to the party.

"Hey, Hermione" someone called and shoved a cup of punch into her hand. She took a sip and walked over to a round table that was set up off to the side so she could watch people celebrate. Harry and Ginny walked into the Hall laughing and holding onto each other while Molly Weasley Followed close behind them with a look on her face that was somewhere between anger and complete happiness. They sat at the table still laughing and Ginny explained that her mum had found them in the closet and Harry had his hand up Ginny’s shirt while she was trying to get his pants off. Hermione smiled a little at the couple and went back to watching people.

"Why aren’t you having any fun Hermione?" Ginny asked looking at Hermione curiously.

"What makes you think I am not having fun Miss Know-it-all" she said giving Ginny a smile.

"Miss Granger I believe that the know-it-all status and name belongs totally to you." Severus Snape said while towering over the trio.

"Oh I am not your student any more you great giant bat." Snape, Ginny and Harry stared at Hermione in shock but she was just starting she stood up barely reaching Professor Snape's shoulders, she looked up straight into his eyes, "you, Professor Snape are a big arrogant jerk. You treat everyone like they are all below you, but guess what we are not below you. We are better then you." Snape’s eyes flashed in anger he turned and stormed out of the hall.

"Hermione Granger I never thought you would say something like that to him." Ginny said in awe. "Unfortunately I have one more year at Hogwarts so I can’t say the same thing yet." Hermione smiled and picked up her punch downing it all at once.

"Hermione, Fred and George spiked that punch? Harry told her.

"Yeah I figured that out when the room started to spin, but I think I want another one this is a party after all."

"Did someone request more yummy punch?" Ron asked walking over to the table his words slightly slurred. Proving that to him the punch really was spiked.

The party was starting to die down when a very drunk Hermione stood up suddenly. "Where you going Mione?" Harry asked looking up at her with a dazed look. She smiled "I am going Giant Bat hunting" she replied and headed out the door. Harry just said oh ok and went back to snogging his girlfriend.

Hermione started down the stairs to the dungeons and she giggled to herself as her foot slipped on a step, but she quickly righted herself to keep from falling. Finally she made it to the bottom after one more slip where she sat on the stairs giggling to herself. Hermione made her way down the hall and ended up at the door that led to Professor Snape’s quarters; she knocked on the door and stood there waiting and humming to herself.


Severus Snape was in his set of rooms fuming over what that insufferable know-it-all had dared say to him. He downed his forth glass of firewhiskey, running the nights events over and over in his head. Getting angry all over again, he drank three more glasses in quick succession. His head jerked up when he heard the knocking on his door, stumbling over he yanked it open and was shocked to see Hermione Granger standing there. "Miss Granger what are you doing here?" He asked anger evident in his voice.

Hermione pushed passed him and walked into his sitting room and dropped onto his couch. Looking up at him she smiled slyly "you are a mean man but still your kind of cute." She watched as his face turned red and was shocked when his hand grabbed her arm and pulled her off the couch.

"I want you gone, out of my home and my life." He dragged her to the door listening to her argue the whole way. Just when he was about to shove her out the door he looked at her. Hair messed up and flowing around her face, eyes flashing with anger and he couldn’t help him self he pulled her to him and smashed his lips to hers, tongue sliding into her mouth. He felt her respond to the kiss her tongue meshing with his. He put his hands on her waist, rubbing his thumbs on her bare skin moving his hands up her blouse and cupping her breasts.

Hermione moaned and started pulling on his robes. Soon they were both headed towards the bedroom tossing clothing as they went. They were groping and kissing as they fell onto the bed together. Snape lying on top of Hermione he put a hand between her legs rubbing her nub while she moaned, his hardness pressed against her thigh. He stared down at her as he entered her slowly. She cried out in pain when he broke through her hymen, but soon her cries and moans were from pleasure as they started to move together when he released himself into her they both collapsed into the bed Severus still buried deep in Hermione and they fell into a deep sleep.


The first thing she noticed then she woke up was excruciating pain in her head and she remembered that she drank way to much spiked punch the night before. The second thing she noticed was that she was naked and that there was an arm around her waist. When she turned her head she saw Professor Severus Snape sound asleep sharing a pillow with her.
She stared at him in shock for a minute when his eyes opened and widened when he realized what had happened. Jumping out of the bed and wrapping the blanket around his waist, "get up Miss Granger you will leave my quarters and never tell anyone of this incident. Go back to your dorm; I never want to see you again." His voice was cold and void of any emotion. Hermione nodded grabbed a blanket and went to look for her clothes. Tears ran down her cheeks from his hurtful words but she left quickly and headed to her private head girl rooms wishing that she would never have to see Severus Snape again.

Hermione and the rest of the students left school that morning to began their summer vacation. Hermione was noticeably silent, but refused to tell any one why. She went home to her parents and other then a letter every few weeks no one heard from her again for several years.
