Secret Life Of
**Challenge Fic for The Third Floor Corridor-Fanfiction #2 contest**
A blonde boy exits the Library at a brisk pace, not even pausing as he heard a scream come from behind him. His pace picked up a bit as he heard the library doors slam shut, as he turned the corner he heard someone call his name from behind him.
"Malfoy!" with a resigned sigh, he turned around.
"Granger?" he said with a bored drawl.
"Give it back!" Hermione said, furiously.
"Like I would take anything of yours." He scoffs. “Although, I do seem to remember you leaving a notebook on the table as you stormed away from me, could that be what you are looking for?"
"You know it is, now please just give it back." She said forcibly.
"Don't think I will. I happened to take a glance at the first few pages, and imagine my surprise," he said, while Hermione’s face got redder and redder, "Imagine my surprise when the notebook I had expected to be full of school work began,’ He walked up behind me and pushed me against the wall as he started unbuttoning...’"
"That is quite enough!" Hermione almost shrieked "Look, Malfoy, what do I have to do to get my notebook back?"
"Who says I'm giving it back?" he smirked at her.
"Please! I will do anything you want!” he raised his eyebrow,
"Anything?"
"Within reason." she stated. He took two quick steps towards her and pushed her hard against the wall.
"Good." he whispered into her ear, before he took off once more down the hallway. Hermione stood there for a moment more, before setting off for the common room.
She entered the common and was pleased to notice that Harry and Ron weren't present. The last thing she wanted to do at the moment was talk to them. She went straight up to her dormitory, and opened her bag to get one of her many books when she noticed a piece of paper sitting on top of her things.
It simply said,
'Midnight, Dungeon #9.
~DM’
Wondering when he had slipped that into her bag, she began debating over whether or not she should go. Deciding she would rather not have that get out, she decided to go.
After dinner, Hermione had been trying to finish an essay for charms, but she couldn't concentrate on anything other than her impending meeting with Draco Malfoy. She was starting to get very nervous about meeting him in that remote part of the castle, and before she knew it, it was time for her to set out.
Glad that the common room was fairly empty by this time of night, she managed to slip out with no one noticing.
Making her way down towards the dungeons, she was jumping at every shadow, walking as fast as she could without running; she made her way past the dungeons used for classes, all the way to dungeon number 9. She pushed open the door and glanced inside, not seeing anyone she took a step into the room, which looked as if no one had set foot in it for a number of years. When she still didn’t see anyone, she turned around, and ran straight into him.
"Cutting it close aren't we, Granger?" he smirked when she jumped.
"I'm on time. Now why in the world did you make me meet you down here?" she inquired.
"Well, this dungeon was just a reference point. We are really going in here." He said, opening a portrait on the other side of the hallway. Ushering her inside, he glanced down the hallway to see if anyone had heard them, before following her in. Quickly silencing and locking the entrance, he turned to face her. "I must admit Granger, I am impressed. I wasn't sure you were going to come." he smirked at her again.
"Look Malfoy, can we just finish this so I can have my notebook, and we can get on with our lives?" She said. He smirked again as he noticed her fidgeting with the edge of her jacket. "And where are we anyway?
"This is just a room I found by accident, as far as I know, no one else knows about it, so I use it on occasion. As for finishing this, considering what you have been writing in here, I don't think you want this finished."
"What do you mean Malfoy, of course I want this finished." she said, taking a step forward.
"What I mean is, what you have written in this journal of sorts, which is actually quite good, by the way," he paused as she gave him an incredulous look, "What? I acknowledge when people are good at things... just not generally in public." He glared at her as she gave a snort of laughter.
"Anyway, what I was saying was, the female character, you, always seems to encounter the same male character, which based on the descriptions, seems to be Me." as he said this he was slowly moving closer to her. He stopped for a second; giving her a chance to contradict him, but one look at her face told him he had guessed right.
He closed the gap between them, and put his hands on her shoulders. Leaning in he pushed her firmly against the wall before kidding her roughly. Leaning to whisper in her ear, he said, "Just tell me if I should stop." Hermione bit her lip, and paused for only a second before pulling him forward for another passionate kiss. After a few minutes they had shifted to the couch. He pulled her jacket off, and was working on the buttons of her blouse. Once rid of her shirt he began trailing kisses down her chest. Moving back up to her neck, he unbuttoned her pants. Hermione moaned as he kissed his way back up to her mouth, and pulled at his shirt. He smirked and pulled away briefly to take his shirt off, before sliding her pants off, and moving to kiss her once more. She unbuckled his belt and tugged his pants down as he removed her bra. He pinned her underneath him on the couch; she could feel him between her legs. He kissed his way down to her panties, and paused, "You want to do this Granger?" he asked, breathless, she nodded and ran her fingers through his hair; he slid her panties off and removed his boxers. She gasped at her first glimpse of him, and as he lay back on top of her to kiss her once more, she ran her hands down his chest, held him tight to her as he kissed her neck. He looked down at her and she nodded at him and closed her eyes. Taking that as permission he positioned himself, and entered her in one swift stroke. She moaned at the feeling and clutched at him, he gave her a kiss full of passion, and as she adjusted him slowly pulled back out and entered her again, getting into a rhythm. She started rocking against him, and kissed him again as they began moving faster and faster, the heat building between them as they both finally reached release. They lay there panting against each other for some minutes before Draco shifted to hold Hermione against him. Pulling a blanket off the back of the couch he covered them both, they both drifted off to sleep.
When Hermione awoke the next morning, Draco had already gone, and her clothes were folded and sitting on the table in front of the couch with a note on top of them. Her notebook was next to the pile. She sat up with the blanket around her, and glanced around the room. She set the note aside and got dressed. Sitting back down on the couch, she smiled as she picked up the note.
It read:
"Thank you for last night.
It was amazing.
Same time next week?
Yours, DM"
Still smiling, she opened her notebook to get a fresh piece of paper, she wrote back:
"No, thank you.
Of course next week.
Could you try to not
steal anything next time
though? It’s getting old.
Love you, HG"
Replacing his note with hers, she sat back and looked at her notebook, she flipped through the pages of writing glancing at the dates, starting from about 5 months previously, and ending with todays date, already on the top of the page. She smiled and began to write.
