Her Darkest Secrets

As the young girl read the letter, tears flowed from her eyes. She could not believe how wrong her summer was going. Her parents dead from a Death Eater attack. And Now this.
Dear Ms Granger,
I express my deepest sympathy in the death of your parents. The news that follows will probaby upset you even more, but you have every right to know. You were adopted by the Grangers when you were an infant. It was for your saftey that you experience a normal chilhood, and not know who you true parents are. You are now 17 and of age. If you would like to discuss this matter, I am more than willing to.
Again my deepest sympathies.

" I cant believe this," cried Hermione. "Why did life turn on me all of a sudden?" she asked out loud.
Harry sat holding Hermione in his arms.
" We're all here for you Hermione." said Harry soothingly.
Nobody knew what to say.
"I need to go lay down for a while. Think things through." Hermione said quietly.
"Do you want me to come with you?" asked Harry.
"Thanks, but no. I need to be by myself for a while." she replied.
She got up and started to climb the stairs to her room. She stopped momentarily and turned around.
"Mrs. Weasley, can I..."
" Of course dear" Mrs Weasley interrupted, knowing Hermione was going to ask her if she could live there until she got on her feet.
" Thank You." she qiuetly said as she turned around and headed to her room.
She had been laying on her bed thinking for about 20 minutes, when an Eagle Owl landed on her window ledge.
She got up and let the owl in, giving him some owl treats and taking the letter off his leg. She knew who it was from and she had missed him.
Dear Hermione,
I am terribly sorry about what happened to you parents. You spoke very highly of them and I'd hope one day I'd meet them. I know how much they meant to you. I wish I could be there to comfort you but we both know that is impossible until we get back to school. I'm missing you more each day and can't wait until I can hold you in my arms again.

This was another thing. How was she suppose to tell her two best friends that she had been seeing Malfoy since the begining of 6th year, secretly of course. It would devastate them seeing they were rivals and hated eachother. She knew she would have to tell them eventually, but didn't know how or when.
