Harry Potter and the Stained Glass Angel

Chapter one: Abandoned

The three young teens stood out front of the tall castle that is Hogwarts, hoping that, if push came to shove, they could use the Marauder’s Map to hide out for a while. Their concern, however, was for Harry, who had been beaten severely over the summer by his uncle, and raped by Death Eaters. They had found him wandering the streets at night without his wand and paralyzed him so he couldn’t escape. They then proceeded to rape and torture Harry. When he got home his uncle knew what had happened and had punished him for sleeping with someone else.
“Poor Harry. This whole thing has affected him worst of all.” The girl of the three pulled her dark brown, hip-length hair back into a ponytail and out of her blue-eyed, hawk-like gaze.
“Wha' if we get caught? Bloody hell, Harry, what are you doing now?” The redheaded boy pulled Harry back away from the hidden passage to see what he was putting in the way of it.
“Ron, Hermione, I want you both to promise that if I have to run so the Dursleys don’t take me you will stay behind and take care of everyone for me.” He gave the two a look that said this isn’t debatable and headed back inside to finish preparations for a-moment’s-notice trip.
"Potter, Going somewhere?" A young blonde came up to Harry, his grey eyes alight with mischeif.
"Yeah, as far away from you as possible, Malfoy. Now get out of my way." Harry brushed past Draco and continued down the hall, suit-case in hand.
Draco only stared after him. ‘If only he knew,’ Was Draco’s last thought before continuing on his way to the dungeons.
“Harry, Where have you been? We were worried that ‘THEY’ might have shown early.” Hermione and Ginny rushed up to Harry and started fussing over him.
“Good God, women, give the poor boy some room!” Ron stomped over and separated the two girls from his friend. Harry mouthed his thanks and headed up to the dorms to continue packing.

The whole Gryffindor house sat patiently in front of the clock, waiting for the appointed time given by the Dursleys themselves. When the clock chimed 7 times Harry picked up his suitcase and began his long trek. A few minutes past the second floor corridor and Harry heard footsteps behind him, and recognized them as Draco’s.
“What do you want now, Malfoy?” Harry used a polite but sarcastic tone he had been practicing on the Dursleys.
“Just to know where you are going when your relatives are about to arrive.” ‘He’s so hot when he gets mad. Perhaps I can see that glorious spark once more before he leaves. If not I can always follow him.’
“If you must know, Malfoy, I’m leaving to get away from them. Hogwarts is my home, and I will not leave it for them. Now if you will excuse me, I have to get out of here.” Harry passed a worried glance in Draco’s direction before headed down a passage Draco never noticed, and, naturally, Draco followed.
“Harry, Slow down! I’m coming with you. I want to make sure those filthy Muggles don’t get their hands on you. Making your life miserable is my job.” Draco said this with an air of pride.
“Thanks, I think. Wait, did you just call me Harry?” Harry turned to Draco, startled.
“Um, yeah. I didn’t think you’d mind seeing as how our friends are not surrounding us. Even enemies need to be civil every now and then.” He gave Draco a suspicious look then continued on their way. It was only a few minutes later, when they emerged in an underground chamber, that Harry felt safe pulling out the Marauder’s Map. He muttered something under his breath and the map showed every detail of the castle. ‘So glad I went back and filled in all the parts of the map that Ron, Hermione, and I had discovered without it.’ Harry thought with a sad smile.
“Where did you get that? How does it work? Is that Professor Snape with my Father?…” Harry cut him off mid-question.
“Draco, if your going to bombard me with questions, you could at least speak at a normal pace. To answer your questions in order, none of your business, still working that out myself, and yes. They have been going at it for the past two years.” Harry answered the last question like the whole world knew but Draco.
“Where are we going anyway? I hope it’s sanitary.” ‘Harry has the most beautiful smile. I wonder what he’s smiling about.’ Draco couldn’t take his eyes off Harry.
“Draco, why are you staring at me? And we are going to a nearby church. With as often as I’ve told the Dursleys I hate churches, they won’t think to look for me in one.”
“Oh, Clever. But we still need to think of a backup plan incase they start with the places you hate.” Draco tripped slightly as he spoke, and Harry caught him.
“Careful. Are you alright?” ‘He actually looks scared. Did I draw Draco into trouble?’ Harry’s thoughts were cut off by the shrill sound of his aunt’s voice.
“Harry Potter! You get back here right now!” they both glanced worriedly behind them then at each other before racing off towards the church.
“My backup plan is to randomly cast curses and hexes until they get the hint that I don’t want to go.” Draco smirked and tripped again.
“Are you all right?” Harry was really concerned now because this time he heard a snap when Draco fell.
“No, I think my leg is broken. Are you sure you weren’t supposed to be in Slytherin?” ‘Way to go, Draco, He thinks you’re an idiot for sure now.’ Draco’s thoughts were interrupted, not by words, but by Harry’s lips on his.
“I’m sure. Right now I want to be in you, but we have to find shelter in the temple first.” And with that Harry dragged a startled and confused Draco into the church.
