Harry snuggled up closer to Severus on the couch, glancing up at his husband of eighteen years only to find him gazing down at him. He pulled him down for a kiss, lying his head down on his shoulder afterward.

Severus kissed behind his ear and whispered “ I love you Harry Potter-Snape.”

“I love you too Severus.” Harry replied quietly, as he glanced one more time at his beloved husband, then around their living room.

Sitting in the plush chair next to the couch sat their eldest child Gabriel James. The seventeen year old was thoroughly engrossed in the movie they were watching, Jerry Maguire. On the floor beside Gabriel sat their four year old Devlin Jacob, asleep against his older brother’s legs. On the other couch sat their three other children, the twins Jade Daniel and Matthew Sean, both age eight, and both asleep on their older sister Sarah Elizabeth. Sarah had been a blessing to their family, being the only girl. Harry loved his children deeply, but he didn’t know how he would survive without Severus and Sarah Beth. Sarah Beth was Harry and Severus’ angel, she couldn’t be more perfect. The sixteen year old locked eyes with her father, giving him a bright smile.

She gestured her head towards Jade and Matthew who were sprawled around her on the couch, asleep. Then towards the stairs. Harry nodded and untangled himself from Severus, placing a chaste kiss on his now sleeping husbands’ forehead.

“Okay Sarah, I’ll grab Matt and Jade, do you think you could bring Dev up?” He whispered quietly to her. She nodded her head and return and Harry gathered his two sons up in his arms, and headed upstairs to their bedroom.

He entered the twins bedroom and quietly put them into their separate beds, kissing them both goodnight before heading back downstairs.

Sarah Beth was now in ‘his’ spot, snuggled up against his husband. He then tried and failed to glare at her, unable to be mad.

Sarah saw her Dad trying to give her the oh-so-famous evil glare, a trait he had picked up from her Papa, and she could only giggle at him as he slouched down in defeat on the other couch. Her giggling stirred her father from his sleeping. Severus tapped her shoulder, raising his eyebrows in question. His question was answered with an inherited smirk and a quick wink, and Severus decided to play along with her.

He wrapped his arms around his daughter and pulled her closer, placing a loving kiss on his angel’s head. He was going to return to watching the movie when a pillow was playfully swung at him. He turned to see Harry ‘innocently’ watching the movie, while Sarah was having a hard time controlling her giggles. He shot a death glare towards Harry’s area, only getting a smirk in return.

Before Severus could blink twice Harry apparated from his spot on the other couch to right in front of Severus. Harry trampled on Severus, knocking him to the living room floor, and kissed him deeply. By this time, Sarah Beth was rolling on the couch with laughter, and Gabe was looking around, obviously confused.

“ Gods you two go to bed!” Sarah whispered at them, trying to sound harsh. “Gabe and I will turn everything off when the movies over.” She finished saying to the couple still devouring each other on the floor.

“You know if you weren’t my parents ….that would be utterly hott. ” Gabe laughed and continued “… Anyway, Sarah’s right we’ll turn everything off. Just please take ’that’ into your rooms please?” He pleaded with them, as hott as it may be it was just wrong to watch your parents do that.

The couple chuckled at their son’s comment before getting up off of the floor.

“Okay, but remember don’t stay up forever because were getting up early to go shopping tomorrow. We’ve got to buy your school stuff early because we have to return to the school early for meetings.” Harry reminded them. He was excited that they would be returning to Hogwarts soon. As much as Harry loved being at home during the summer with his family, he missed teaching defense and their quarters in the dungeons.

“Yes Mother .” Gabe replied mockingly. Gabe had just started laughing when he suddenly felt a weight lift off him, and utterly cold. He looked down to find himself starkers.

Grabbing a pillow to cover himself he glared at his now laughing father, Severus. “ Ooh your BLOODY HYSTERICAL Dad!” He yelled before stomping off to his room to find some pajamas to put on.

After their laughing had subdued, Sarah Beth spoke up. “Now Papa was that really necessary?” She asked Severus.

“Well..” He started “… Yes I believe it was.” He answered defensively

Harry and Severus kissed their daughter goodnight, before heading off to their bedroom to finish what they had started earlier.

Hours later, after their third session of lovemaking, Harry decided it would be the perfect time to tell his husband his news. “Sev?”

“Hmm?” Severus replied, already drifting off to sleep

“Severus, were going to have another baby.” He said, then giggled as it was obvious Severus wasn’t sleeping anymore.

“Since when?” Sev asked excitedly

“Poppy told me yesterday after I dropped those potions off for you. She asked if I was expecting, and I said I didn’t think so, so she checked. Amazing how that woman can tell those things.”

Severus pulled Harry into a loving, heated kiss. “You know Mr. Potter-Snape, I’m beginning to believe you were switched at birth.” He finished, smirking

Harry looked at the smirking man “And why is that?” He asked curiously.

“Because Harry, it seems you’ve inherited Molly’s ((Weasley)) tendency to become impregnated. People are going to start believing that were competing with them.” He laughed out the last part.

Harry giggled, “I love you Severus Potter-Snape.” He kissed him once again before placing his head under his husband’s chin.

“I love you too Harry Potter-Snape.” Sev kissed Harry once on his forehead then on his stomach before he felt sleep pulling at him.

In those moments that he was almost asleep, Harry remembered something he forgot to tell Severus when he had told him about the baby.

“There’s something else, love.” He began

“Hmm?” Severus replied once again.

“Were going to have another Angel Sev.” He whispered before placing one last chaste kiss to Severus’ neck and finally surrendering to the pull of sleep, dreaming of the little girl that they would have come 9 months time.
