Harry Potter And The Troubles Of Being A Royal
Prologue
He had done it. Finally Harry James Potter had done what he had been destined to do since before he was even born. He now lay in a bed in the Hogwarts infirmary recovering from the final battle and showdown with Voldermort. Harry had gone into battle, he had set out to finally rid the wizarding world of its main threat, and he had succeeded. He succeeded incinerating and sending Voldermort’s very black soul to the utter depths of hell, where such vile and murderous creatures such as him fully deserved to be.
So many people had died and sacrificed their lives for the good of the wizarding world and loved ones. Harry had lost so many people dear to him. He lost his parents when he was barely a year old. He lost Sirius in his fifth year, and was finally reunited with him back in the beginning of the summer holidays after his sixth year. Dumbledore had discovered how to bring Sirius permanently back to life and from beyond the veil.
Harry smiled as he remembered how happy Remus and Sirius had been when they had been reunited. Harry was thrilled that his godfather and close friend had finally married merely a few months before the war had fully taken over. Sirius and Remus was the closest thing he had to having parents. He had been given the honor of being Sirius’s best man, while the role of best man to Remus had gone to Ron. He and Ron had become much better and closer friends during the main months leading up to the final battle between good and evil.
It was merely a month until graduation. Only Harry and the other seventh years would not be graduating this time around. They had been requested by the headmaster Albus Dumbledore to return and repeat their seventh year and study for their newts. Meaning neither he nor Hermione and Ron would graduate until they were nearly nineteen, instead of eighteen like usual. Seeing as the seventh years was the main group affected by the happenings of the war. Instead of having time to study they were plagued with the tasks of preparing to go to war instead of studying like any other normal teenager. They were being made to return and repeat the school year just past.
Harry sighed as he thought about how the school was going to being setting up the disused area of the castle over the summer. Considering there would be double the number of seventh year students returning in September. Even the professor’s schedules were disrupted. Thankfully this arrangement would only need to be valid for a year, and everything would return to normal the following year.
Harry sighed once more thinking life could only get easier from then on and towards the future. Little did he know that his life was about to be turned upside down once more, Well, at least he would not have to destroy a psychopath dark wizard this time around.
