Nightmare

My greatest apologies for my first story\'s shortness. I promise to make my Harry Potter story longer. Just so everyone knows, I enjoy the Harry Potter books and movies, but I enjoy the fan fiction I read here at Adult Fan Fiction. I hope to keep writing and getting reviews. This is merely the first of three chapters and is not finished itself yet.

Nightmare - Chapter one: Malfoy\'sunusual Kindness

\'\"Ron, Hermione! No, leave them alone!\"\'
\"Ahhhh!\"
Harry sat bolt upright at the nightmare of Voldemort killing his two best friends. Harry despised these nightmares almost as much as the ones he watches his parents dieing in.
\"I\'m so glad I put that silencing charm up. I probably shouted loud enough to wake the whole school.\"

He put his glasses on and left the saftey of the Gryffindor tower to go to the astronamy tower in hopes of finding Ginny there to yet again comfort him.

\"The halls are darker than usual. guess Snape is somewhere nearby. I\'ll just have to be extra careful.\"
\"Potter? Is that you? Lumos!\"
\"Malfoy! What are you doing here?!\"
\"I was just about to ask you the same thing.\"
\"I asked first, Malfoy.\"
\"Alright, if you must know, I...I had a nightmare and was wandering around to get rid of the thoughts.\"
\"Let me guess you had a nightmare about me.\"
\"How did you know?\"
\"Was the nightmare about me kicking your arse at this weekend\'s Quiddich match?\"
\"No. I dremt I\'d kissed you...Oppss.\"
\"Ugg, gross! Malfoy, your discusting!\"
\"Well at least its one nightmare that won\'t ever come true! Now I\'ve told you mine you have to tell me yours\"
\"At least wait until we get to the astronamy tower, so we don\'t get caught by Snape.\"

Harry and Draco made their way to the astronamy tower without a word to one another.

\"Well?\"
\"Well what?\"
\"You said you\'d tell me what your nightmare was about as soon as we got to the tower. We\'re to the tower so tell me already!\"
\"Alright. I dremt that my friends were killed by Vol...\"
Harry stopped his sentance when he saw Draco\'s eyes fill with tears at the mention of the Dark Lord\'s name and he hadn\'t even finished saying it.
\"Sorry.\"
\"For what, Potter?\"
\"Everyone hates to hear that name, and I always say it.\"
\"Its alright. I was overreacting.\"
\"Malfoy, maybe we should sit down by the window and talk.\"
\"O.K. so what do you want to talk about?\"
\"Umm... How about we talk about the next potions class. I know you guys get the assignments ahead of time so you can practice them.\"
\'I\'d rather sit here and stare into those beautyful emrald eyes.... Did I really think that.\'
\"Alright. We were practicing a transfiguration potion. I was one of only three others ble to do the potion.\" \'Why is he staring at me with those beautiful green eyes. He\'s making me feel guilty.\'

\"Malfoy, can I ask you something?\"
\"O.K. What do you want to ask me?\"
\"Are you being nice to me because Ron and Hemioni aren\'t here, or is it because your tired and don\'t realise you\'re not acting you\'re usual self?\"
\"What? I was being nice because you were, and because Crabbe and Goyle aren\'t around, so my father wont find out.\"
\"Oh.\"
\'Stupid, what was I thinking? Of course Draco doesn\'t really like me! I was stupid to even hope.\'
\"Potter,...Harry, after tonight I\'m beginning to regret you not accepting my friendship before.\"
\"Same here, Draco. Maybe we can start again.\"
\'Maybe, but I want more than just a friendship with the Boy-Who-Lived. I think I\'ll see how close I can get him to telling me everything.\'
And with that thought Draco leaned over and kissed Harry. Harry was so suprised by the action he didn\'t react, but he soon leaned into the kiss, which reassured Draco that he had done the right thing.
\'Mmmmmm\'
\"My sentiments exactly. Didn\'t know you were such a good kisser.\"
\"Didn\'t know Draco Malfoy was a slut. The way you always carry yourself turned everybodies heads...\"
\"Including yours?\"
Harry blushed and nodded, and Draco burst out laughing.


\"Mister Potter, Mister Malfoy! I hope you two have a good explanation for being out of bed!?\"
\"Professor! We weren\'t doing anything, honest!\"
\"I know, Mr.Potter. I will be seeing you in detention tomorrow. Mr.Malfoy, well done, finding this wanderer.\"
\"I..Um..Thank you Professor. I\'d better get back to bed myself.\"
\"Don\'t just stand there Mr. Potter, get back to bed before I give you more detention\"
\"Yes Professor.\"
\'Potter looks so gorgeous when he lets his glasses slide down like that. I bet he does it to get out of trouble. After tomorrow, though, he will be doing everything he can think of to get into trouble.\'
\"I will see you tomorrow at five, Mr. Potter.\"
\"What!?\"
\"You heard me Mr.Potter\"

\"It\'s not fair! Why didn\'t Malfoy get detention too?!\" Ron had been listening to Harry\'s conversation with Hermione, and when he shouted his and Harry\'s frustrations it startled the first years.
\"I know it sounds bad,\" Hermione gave Harry a sympathetic look, \"But at least its only one detention and not a weeks worth as usual.\" Harry started to cheer up at this thought.
\"I hadn\'t thought of that, but still, he should have given Malfoy detention too, even if the slimy git is a Prefect.\" \'And a cute one at that.\' Harry had only recently told his friends of his prefrences, and didn\'t think that they (Namely Ron) would be able to handle the thought of Harry crushing on Malfoy.
\"Your right, Harry. Tomorrow I\'ll provoke Malfoy into saying that word he\'s not supposed to say in front of one of the Professors.\"
\"Thanks, Hermione, but I can handle this myself.\"

\"Oh! Poor Dray! you missed your oppertunity to tell Potter how you really feel. I guess I\'ll go talk to the Professor about his actions.\" Pansy Parkinson had pressed Draco for details on his attempt to seduce Harry Potter earlier that night.
\"No need, Pansy. Professor Snape interrupted us on purpose.\"
\"But why?\" \'Crabbe had to listen, even if it was out of habit. Guess I shouldn\'t be suprised, at Goyle either. My life is the most interesting as of recently.\'
\"How many days has it been since school started?\"
\"Almost two months Dray. You asked that question yesterday.\"
\"Right. Its been five weeks since I realised the way Professor looks at Potter.\"
\"What do you mean, Dray? How does Professor Snape look at Potter?\"
\"Haven\'t you ever looked up at the staff table and seen him spacing out? He\'s been staring at Potter when he does that. It\'s obvious he has a thing for Potter as well.\"
\"Oh, Dray! You poor thing! going up against Potter for the Cup(1) is one thing but facing off against Professor Snape for Potter\'s affection, well, I\'m afraid you don\'t stand a chance.\"

\"You\'re late Mr.Potter!\"
\"Sss.sorry Ppp.Professor.\"
\"(Sigh) Sit down Mr. Potter, I will see you in detention for the next week.\"
\'Did he just sigh? Forget that did he just give me detention and totally blow off Malfoy?\'
\"Mr. Malfoy (Spoke too soon) You\'re also late.\"
\"Oh. Sorry Professor. Professor Sprout had me deliver these to you.\" Draco said as he handed the Professor the vials of plants. He then sneered at Harry and they both took the only seats remaining, which happened to be next to each other.
\"Turn your books to page 210. You will be attempting to concoct the Rikuta Potion. Yes Miss Granger?\"
\"Professor, isn\'t that a lust potion?\"
\"Yes, Miss Granger, it is. I am hopeing that some of you will be able to create a potion as easy as this. Even you, Mr. Potter, shouldn\'t be able to mess this up.\"
\'Should\'ve known he\'d single me out, he always does\'
\"The ingrediants are as follows. First add a small amount of Burry Seed, then add three Rik Seeds, a small portion of Wil Weed, and finally a vile of Dragonsbane.\"
\'Great. For once I may be able to get this potion right.\'
Malfoy had plans for Harry\'s potion as well, for at the moment he attemted to add his small portion of Wil Weed, Malfoy knocked into him causing him to add a little too much.
\"Mr. Malfoy, Mr. Potter doesn\'t need your help messing up his potion. He does that just fine on his own.\" \'Perhapse I should slip Potter some of his own lust potion. It would give me an advantage tonight. No. Tonight we play by the books. No lust potions, no preperation.\'


Ideas for the detention would be nice seeing as the story is greatly lacking.
