Draco walks down the halls to the Library during lunch; Jessy had watched him leave; but she was already distracted when Harry had walked in. He waits at the door to the library a few minutes until he hears someone walking towards him. He looks up into the face of Ginny Weasley.
"I want you to tell Harry what you saw. Let him use legilimency if you must, but you can\'t let him see what happens after that." Draco hisses at her.
She nods her head.
"What are you going to do Draco?" She asks him.
"I\'m going to make sure Jessy is all mine and that your pathetic boyfriend never lays his hands on her again." He tells her with a smirk.
"Don\'t hurt him." She tells him suddenly.
Draco glares at her and pushes her into the wall.
"You don\'t get to tell me what to do. You\'re the one decieving him right now." Draco tells her smirking.
"Fine. I\'ll do it, but I want something in return." She tells him, glaring.
"And what more could you want than your precious boy-who-lived." Draco asks.
"Um.."She stops, thinking to herself.
Draco steps away from the wall and stares at her.
"Well?" He asks, impatient.
"I want to make sure Jessy never gets in the way again." She replies, anger in her voice.
"Let\'s put it this way, Jessy\'s been claimed already." Draco tells her walking away.
As soon as Draco disappeared down the corridor, Ginny rushed to the Great Hall, cathing Harry by the arm before he went upstairs with her brother Ron.
"Harry, we have to talk." She whispers.
Harry sighs, but follows her into a deserted hallway, not realizing that Jessy was watching.
"Harry, Jessy cheated on you."
Ginny watches anger flash in his green eyes.
"Ginny I can\'t believe you\'d stoop this low!" He yells at her.
"You can even preform legilimency on me if it helps!" She tells him quickly.
Harry stares into her eyes, sifting through the memories before he gets the one she\'s talking about. As the realization sinks in he turns away from her, tears filling his eyes.
"Harry..." Ginny reaches out and puts her hand on his shoulder.
He shakes it off and takes off down the corridors to the dungeons. Ginny watches helplessly as he disappears.
"You think he\'ll really leave me?" Jessy asks walking around the corner.
Ginny stares at her for a minute before answering.
"Yes."
Instead of the anger Ginny was expecting, she notices tears in Jessy\'s eyes as she walks away.
"You aren\'t going to fight me on this?" Ginny asks angrily.
Jessy shakes her head and stops at the corner.
"Why not?" Ginny demands.
"Because it\'s no use." She answers before walking away.
Jessy walks down to the dungeons and stops at Professor Snapes door. Instead of knocking she sits in front of it and waits.
"Draco, I\'m sorry. I can\'t keep giving her detention."
Jessy looks up at the door before it opens.
"Jessica?"
"How could you Sev? You\'re supposed to look out for me. Not help HIM!" She yells.
"Jessy, please listen to me." Draco pleads staring down at her.
"No!" She yells back, standing up.
"Jessica, your father wants to see you in his office." Severus tells her softly.
"You can tell my father to piss off." She snaps at him.
Severus sighs and walks past her in the direction of her fathers office. Draco sits on the floor next to her.
"I\'ve made my choice. I don\'t believe that my father will be pleased, but he\'ll deal with it. As for you, you might as well piss of too."
"Why? If you\'ve made your choice, you\'ll probably be seeing me a lot more."
"I said piss off, didn\'t I?"
"You didn\'t choose Potter. So that leaves me."
"Don\'t be assuming things Malfoy. Your family may be powerful, but it\'s not that powerful."
"What?"
"Listen to what I\'m saying Malfoy, you stupid git!"
"What are you trying to say Jessica?"
"I choose Marcus."
"A fine choice, if I may say so myself, love."
Jessy and Draco look up to see Flint standing against the wall.
"Marcus, do you always sneak around?" Jessy asks him.
"Not always. Only when I\'m following orders."
"So always."
Marcus laughs quietly, crossing the hall to stand in front of Jessy.
"What does my father want now Marcus?" Jessy asks tiredly.
"He wants us to join him in his office. Immedietly."
"Bloody Hell. Why can\'t he just piss off." Jessy mumbles.
"I do believe you might want to let your father know that Severus wasn\'t kidding when he told him that."
Jessy looks up at Flint and then at the floor, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"Come with me Love, we have much to discuss."
Marcus holds his hand out for her, but she pushes it away, using the wall to help herself up.
"Jessica. If you take the claim off, I can promise you that I\'ll be mad enough to kill someone." Draco reminds her quietly.
"Claim?" Marcus asks, looking at Jessy angrily.
"Forget it Marcus. He couldn\'t harm a fly." She tells him.
"I wouldn\'t be so sure." Draco snaps, getting up and stalking off down the hallway.
"Shall we?"
Jessy follows Marcus to her fathers office, stopping only to greet her snake on the way in.
"Master." Marcus bows his head and keeps it bowed, sensing his masters anger.
"Jessica Riddle. What is the meaning of this?" Her father asks, his voice cold.
"The meaning of what Father? I\'m not playing games."
"Marcus, sit." Her father commands.
Marcus does as he\'s told and sits in a chair opposite the Dark Lord.
"I belive that your godfather is under the impression that you sent a message for me, telling me to \'piss off\'."
Jessy smirks to herself before looking at her father.
"So what\'s the problem...Dad?"
"The problem Jessica, is that you have to be punished for such rudeness."
"Father no...Please, I was angry...frustrated." Jessy turns her pleading eyes to him.
"I don\'t believe that\'s an apology."
"Father I..."
"Cruico!"
Jessy\'s screams fill the small room and echo through out the halls. Marcus looks at the floor, trying to ignore his love\'s screams of agony.
"Master..." Severus tries to get the Dark Lord\'s attention.
"Father...Please!" Jessy manages to plead between the waves of pain.
"Please what Jessica?"
"I\'m sorry!"
Jessy falls to the floor as the pain leaves her body; she looks at the stones in the ground, trying to catch her breath.
"Stand up."
Jessy does as she\'s told and gets to her feet, wincing at the pain in her body.
"Now, I understand that the young Mr.Malfoy has left a claim on you?" Her father asks.
"Yes."
"Yes what?"
"Yes, Father."
"And are you willing to sacrafice a life, just to remove it?"
"No, Father."
"Good, then, you may tell Mr. Flint here, that you have chosen you\'re future husband."
"Flint...I..."
Jessy turns to look at him, only to look back at the floor after seeing the burning rage in his eyes.
"Marcus, I love you, you know that. But I\'m sorry. It doesn\'t matter who I love. But I promise you, that those six years have not gone to waste."
"I know that Jessica, but you can\'t go back on your word to your Father." Marcus\' voice is soft.
Jessy looks up at him, his eyes are no longer angry, but sad.
"I promise you Marcus, that Malfoy will slip up. I know he will, and we will be together."
"Enough of this rubbish. Jessica, Mr.Malfoy is waiting in the Great Hall. You\'re going to the Manor for Christmas vacation."
"I don\'t have any say at all?" Jessy asks angrily.
Her father shakes his head.
"Jessica, let Malfoy know that this is his reward for following orders."
Jessy turns to face her father, as she realizes what had happened.
"It was you! You ordered Malfoy to put the claim spell on me! You ordered him to kill Harry if I took it off!" She yells.
"I merely made a suggestion."
"You don\'t make suggestions Father. This is the last time you order someone to hurt me."
Jessy turns away, takes Marcus\' hand and starts to lead him towards the door.
"Jessica."
Jessy ignores her father, but tries to make Marcus move faster.
"Jessica!"
Jessy pushes Flint through the open door; he grabs her hand and tries to pull her with him, but she\'s not fast enough.
"Crucio!"
Jessy\'s screams can be heard through out the castle. Marcus keeps a hold on her hand, sinking to the floor with her, while she writhers in pain.
"Marcus, if you leave now, she\'ll be in less pain." Severus tells him.
Marcus looks up at his professor with sadness in his eyes.
"I would...But she won\'t let go of me."
Severus watches his goddaughter\'s jerky movements start to slow, and her breathing get shallow.
"Jessica let go of him!" Severus pleads.
Jessy\'s screams stop, and she lies on the floor motionless. Her hand is like a vice grip on Marcus\'.
"My Lord, you\'re killing her." Severus\' voice is quiet, filled with agony and anger.
The Dark Lord turns away from his daughter to stare at Severus.
"Marcus, take Jessica home with you. Let the Malfoy\'s know that plans have been changed. Tell the young Mr.Malfoy that he has his orders for the claim being taken off."
"But my Lord, Jessy hasn\'t taken off the claim..." Marcus trails off.
"She will. As soon as she awakens, she\'ll take it off. I know her."
~Christmas at the Flint\'s~
"Jessy, your father has sent a letter." Mrs. Flint tells her.
Jessy opens the letter carefully. Her eyes start to tear up as she reads it;
My dearest Daughter,
It is to my delight to inform you that a Ms. Ginny Weasley is in St. Mungo\'s hospital, never to recover from the torture she has indured. Happy Christmas Jessica.
"I want you to tell Harry what you saw. Let him use legilimency if you must, but you can\'t let him see what happens after that." Draco hisses at her.
