”I have a proposing for you” Malfoy said when she woke the next morning. He was laying on the bed next to her in his school robes looking entirely to smug with him self.
“And what is that?” She answered feeling that he was going to try and get her into another trap; as if the one she was in now wasn’t bad enough.
“I propose that you take Hermione’s place at my home and then I let her go.”
“But we already have a blood oath on the other deal, why should I bind myself for a unknown time to get Hermione out, when I can just wait out the 14 days” She nearly rolled her eyes at him. Did he really think her that stupid?
“Maya, you really should not trust a wizard of my kind with that kind of document. I just love how magic is able to make your very lovely blood oath turn into a useless copy.” He smirked at her.
Maya’s heart pounded and she almost lost her vision in the rage that surged through her body. NO! He couldn’t have done that. Then he had put her through all that for nothing! Bastard!! Then she would never get Hermione out of there! SHIT!! Before her thoughts caught up with her she had leapt out of bed and ran for the door. She ducked when Malfoy sent a stunner spell after her and barley avoided being hit by it. Then she was out in the classroom and nearly at the door out of there. She willed the door to open and it did. YES!
But too late she saw that it wasn’t her magic that had opened it but Snape. He neatly caught her around the vast and carried her into the room again, closing the door behind him. Maya kicked and trashed but nothing helped her get away. She was nearly at the break of tears but wouldn’t let them come forth.
Snape threw her on the bed and sat on top of her holding her legs down with his own. He had her hands held tight in one of his big hands.
“YOU BASTARDS!!” Maya screamed trying to writhe free, but nothing helped.
“What is going on with her Lucius?” Snape asked looking at his friend who smiled widely.
“Oh…nothing much Severus, I just told her the truth about her little blood oath document” he answered.
“Ah…yes, that would explain her behaviour. And have you told her our propose?”
“Not yet, she went wild when I told her of the document problem” again that smirk. Maya just lay still trying to make the tears go away and trying to catch her breath which was hard with a man sitting on top of her. She wished she would just wake up from this nightmare.
“OH GET ON WITH IT” Maya yelled letting her anger get out.
“Get on with what Maya” Severus asked her looking like she didn’t make any sense.
“Why don’t you just kill me and Hermione to when you’re at it!! Your going to at the end anyway aren’t you!? Or are you going to keep me locked up instead of Hermione and the use me to lour some poor which into another trap so you can play with her too?”
“I did tell you that she wasn’t stupid, didn’t I Severus?” Malfoy said.
“Yes that you did” he answered keeping his eyes locked on Maya’s. “So what we propose is exactly that. You take Hermione’s place, and we let her go. I know for a fact that Weasly misses her very much, and would be happily reunited with her. So what do you say Maya?” Snape raised an eyebrow at her.
If she didn’t take Hermione’s place they would kill Hermione and properly herself to. But if she took Hermione’s place they would let her go. This time around though she would net let them get away with having her held prisoner for 1½ years! She would find some way out.
“I don’t really see that I have any choice!” Maya answered “But this time you better hold up to your promise. I want proof that Hermione is returned to her family and that she not be harmed by any of you in any way from now on. “
“That we can do. But of course Hermione will not be able to remember what has happened to her at all. We will make sure of that” Snape said, smiling.
Maya nodded.
“Good, the Lucius if you don’t mind I will go and get Hermione and clean her brain from what we have done to her and make sure that I by chance stumble across her in one of the darker alleys near Nockturn alley.”
Malfoy nodded and with a swish of his wand Snape was gone and Maya could breathe normal again, for the time being....
