Later that day, Kevin, Sasha, and Alexandria headed out to Hogsmede. Tstopstopped by Zonko\'s and picked up a few tricks. Then they went to Honeydukes and Kevin bought Alexandria some chocolates. \"Oh Kevin! These are my favorites! Thank you!\"
Kevin blushed. \"Anything for you Alex.\"
Alex noticed that he\'d been blushing a lot lately. What is up with him? She wouldn\'t want to think of what Severus would have to say if he found out Kevin had a crush on her- if in fact he did. Now that she thought about it- how is she going to react? Kevin had been her best friend, and he was more like a brother to her than anything else. What was she going to do?

\"Earth to Alex?......come in Alex!\"

Sasha pulled her out of her thoughts. \"Sorry, I was just thinking about something.\"

\"It\'s ok, i was just asking you if you wanted to go grab a butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks?\"

\"Yeah sure. I haven\'t had one of those in a while.\"

They headed over to The Three Broomsticks. Madame Rosmerta brought over three butterbeers and they sat drinking happily and the sweet froth off the top. They told jokes and laughed and generally had a good time. It was soon time to head back to Hogwarts. Sasha ha go go to the bathroom, so Kevin and Alex waited up for her outside. When they got outside, they were greeted with the sight of glowing Jack-o-laterns hanging about ceiling level all over Hogsmede.

\"Looks like every one is getting ready for Halloween! I like this time of year in Hogsmede, everything has a candle-lit orange-y glow to it.\"
Alexandria looked back to Kevin, to find him inches from her.

\"Alex....I\'ve wanted to say this for a while now, but.....well-er....I like you a lot....more than friends, and well....I was hoping you felt the same way.\"

Alex stared up at him, part of her in shock, half of her expected it. She needed to explain to him that she thought of him more like a brother than anything else.

\"Oh! Kevin....\" She was silenced with his lips meeting hers. His lips were soft and pliable, a very chaste kiss. And that\'s the way they should remain towards each other- chaste. She pushed him away. He looked at her quizically as Sasha walked out of the Three Broomsticks, and Alex\'s head felt full and she got dizzy.

Severus Snape\'s head shot up from the stack of papers he was correcting. He had an image of Mr. Drega kissing Alex. He was ous.ous. He was the only one allowed to do that! That was his property and another man was taking advantage of her! How dare Alex allow him to do that!!! He got up and paced the room. He called for her.

Alex touched her hand to her forehead.

\"Are you ok Alex?\" asked Sasha

\"Yes...yes I\'m fine, I just want to get back to the castle. She started back towards Hogwarts with Kevin and Sasha behind.
Oh he was mad. She was wondering what he meant by he would know if she did anything with any one else. Now she knew. But he must be able to sense her feelings too right? So he would know she didn\'t want that. So why was he this mad? He was calling for her. Great, back into the snake\'s pit.

\"What did you do to her?\"

\"I kissed her....\"

\"Really?! Well, it\'s about time you did....oh wait.......she didn\'t react too well did she?\"

\"I dont\' think so.......you know, I think there may be some one else....\" Kevin looked crest fallen.

\"Nonsense, who would that be? She only ever hangs out with us. You two make a cute couple...\"

Kevin gave her a weak smile. \"I think I fucked things up this time Sash.\"
