Meanwhile in the real world
Anna Zabini- Snape was seething with anger at her husband. He had left her to care for his concubine while he made her potions. How much strength did he expect from her before she cracked? Anna was his wife but he was treated no better than a whore while she risked her life and the life of her son to protect Severus and his “wife”. Anna had dared to come to the house he shared with her because she had news that she needed to speak to him about. He should have known that it was important by her actions.
The pity and compassion she always felt for Hermione turned into indignant rage. Anna saw the soft pillow next to Hermione and Anna’s rage turned to fury at the thought of her husband using that pillow as he slept beside Hermione. Anna rose from her seat by the bed with a renewed energy and reached for the pillow to end her humiliation once and for all. When she was leaning over Hermione she felt the room turn ice cold and felt cold hands hold her wrists. When she looked up she saw a figure with black hair and green eyes
Severus Snape was preparing Hermione’s daily potions when the kitchen turned ice cold and his feeling that Hermione was in danger returned to him. He saw the figure of Sirius Black staring at him and inclined his head towards his beloved and his wife and disappeared. Severus ran as fast as he possibly could to his Hermione to find Anna hovering Hermione with a pillow. Cold anger filled him as he realized what she intended to if he was not alerted to the danger. Severus grabbed her by the wrists and she shouted “Please don’t! You will hurt our baby!”
