7. Wedding surprises

Chapter 7 – Wedding surprises

A/N: Oh well . . . I think like everyone knows now . . . because of the title I think, but I’m not sure here . . . there will be a more or less little wedding at Hogwarts and . . . what else is there to say?

You know, it was a bit strange. ^-^ Because I really wanted to write on this story but couldn’t until I had at least some music. And now . . . it’s still not really working, sorry.

I’m afraid that this will be a really short but sappy chapter again because . . . you see . . . I still hadn’t planned this story through so far. Basically, I know what will happen but all the little work around . . . *sigh*

Just as before . . . This is unbetad . . . I’m sorry.

He was nervous . . . just a little bit nervous. Pansy and Hermione had tried constantly to cheer him up but it was useless . . . he was not listening to them anyway until they finally left him alone.

Of course, they had fought over it but in the end, his lover had gotten his will again. Pouting he had sat on his bed and had thought about everything that would happen next. He himself had wished to keep it small . . . no big deal, really but his lover had wanted it otherwise.

He actually invited complete Hogwarts and the rest of their family that had not been there at the time, even Madame Maxime. His mother had been ecstatic and had buried herself in preparations so everything would end just . . .

Sighing, he shook his head and looked out the window again to see Madame Maxime and Hagrid . . . fight? Smiling, he could not help and chuckle softly when she stormed off and left the half giant, suddenly looking forlorn.

Then the Weasleys had come and someone was always fighting. Most times he did not know who or why but they were fighting nevertheless. It was actually amusing to listen to all those exchanges of blows . . . words. But not right now . . . were they really ready for that? He was not sure . . . they were still so . . .

“Don’t be that miserable.” the soft voice of his lover mumbled right into his ear and strong arms suddenly encircled him. A hand found its way to his belly and rubbed it tenderly. He had to smile about that because their child was still . . . not even visible, he thought but Harry always was careful with his body now and stroked his stomach every chance he got.

Sighing, he leaned into the young man behind him and went back to his musings.

“Do you think we’re ready for that?” the blonde mumbled softly and felt his lover kiss his neck.

“Of course.” was the only answer he got and he shook his head.

“I mean it; we’re still so young . . . still in school and . . . I don’t know.”

“Calm down Draco!” the Gryffindor ordered quietly. “We’ll do fine, believe me. We always have and we always will. And it’s only one year of school left. I don’t think our child will curse that much of problems you’re imagining now, after all you are doing the upbringing.”

“What do you mean, I’m doing the upbringing? You’re part of this new family too! You’ll do your fair share of work either or I’ll show you!” Draco shouted and pushed his laughing lover away.

“Just a joke, promise!” the raven-haired teen chuckled and held his hands up, meeting the suddenly furious eyes of his pregnant lover boldly.

“I bet!” he hissed and turned around again . . . pouting again, holding his head high. Harry just laughed harder until he took the blond Slytherin back were he belonged, in his arms.

“We still don’t have a place to live then . . . of course we could go to the Manor but I really don’t want that.” Draco mumbled softly as calm as he had been shortly before as if nothing had upset him at all.

“Hm.”

“I . . . I always imagined that when I’ll have my own family, I’ll have my own house as well. Sure, it had been a Manor there too but now I don’t want that anymore. I want a little house and a garden with a spirit in a tree watching over my playing children and . . . this sounds stupid!” Draco cried out and could not believe his own words.

This was all Hermione’s fault! Hermione and her stupid little book of a sweet family, living in a sweet little house and having sweet little children, he read in December.

“Not at all . . . sounds more . . . dreamy.” Harry mumbled suddenly very softly, his arms holding the blonde a bit tighter. He had dreamed of that too . . . maybe without this spirit thing . . . but nevertheless. He had always wished for his own family and his own house were no one needs to call or something before coming over, they would just come and feel welcomed.

He thought that this was just an orphan’s childish dream but maybe . . . maybe with Draco this little orphan could let his dream come true.

“Don’t be that miserable.” he suddenly heard the whispered comment and chuckled softly in remembrance of his own words.

“By the way . . . were not you meant to stay outside, away from me on your wedding day?” Draco laughed softly and shook his head again.

“If you would be a normal bride . . . yes.” he answered softly, already creeping away from his lover, knowing what would come next. But he just could not resist . . . he loved to tease him madly.

“What do you mean if I were a normal bride? I am as normal as everyone who marries!”

“Yes but not a . . . bride.” Harry laughed excited and waggled his eyebrows.

Draco huffed annoyed and crossed his arms.

“You see with what I have to put up with every day? Be sure that you don’t end up like your father!” he mumbled softly to his silently listening child, or so he thought without noticing it.

“Maybe I changed my mind and don’t want to bind myself for the rest of my life to you!” he asked arrogantly and lifted his head up higher. “What if exactly in that moment my knight in shining amour comes and I can’t marry the one who’s meant to be with me because you already have chained me to you?”

“I really hate to destroy your little dream bubble here but I’m your knight in shining amour if you want it or not.” Harry laughed and shrugged nonchalantly.

“See! You try to chain me!”

“Of course. I never claimed something else, did I?” and he had the dignity to shrug again and made Draco grit his teeth.

“By the way . . . how are we meant to marry on our wedding day? Imagine us, screaming our promises over the lake because I am not allowed to see you.” Harry snorted amused and winked lovingly at his Slytherin lover.

But then, the blonde just sighed again and let his shoulders hang, he already felt exhausted again and just wanted to take a nap . . . in Harry’s arms.

“Does it already start? I thought it . . . well a few months until it would . . .” Harry mumbled confused but closed his arms around the blonde nevertheless, supporting his weight a bit.

“I want to sleep.” Draco whined softly like a little child and laid his head on his husband-to-be’s shoulder, rubbing his nose softly against the warm skin that smelled like rain.

“I know Dragon but you can’t. I’m sorry but we just have a few minutes till it starts and all and don’t forget this great party after the ceremony, your mother had planned . . . with Molly I’m afraid.” the emerald-eyed young man soothed softly, caressing his lover’s back.

“Is that supposed to make me energetic again? Because if it is, it’s not working.”

“I know but see it like that, just a few hours anymore and you can fall into my bed and sleep till the next morning or evening . . . or what ever you want.” Harry laughed softly and rubbed his cheek against the soft platinum locks affectionately.

Draco grumbled unwillingly and closed his eyes, ready to let sleep overcome him.

“No Draco!” the Gryffindor huffed and loosened his grip around the teen hurriedly. When Draco almost stumbled to the floor, he looked at him questioningly until he took his hand and tugged him out of the door hurriedly.

Maybe Snape . . . no, Severus, he was supposed to call him Severus now; maybe Sna . . . Severus had a potion for his little dragon, which would not hurt their baby.

***

Silently, he stood before the entrance gates of Hogwarts, waiting for his blonde to come to him and give his promise, and watched over the crowed that had gathered itself around them to watch and cheer . . . or maybe not. Dumbledore had even invited Tonks, Moody and Kingsley and . . . other Aurors he had never seen before actually, to their wedding; he noticed amused and tried to keep his smirk in check. Of course, he had said it was just because of the few Death Eaters among them . . . like Draco’s parents and some others.

But then his thoughts drifted off when his eyes caught sight of his husband-to-be and a silent smile showed on his lips.

Harry almost laughed when he noticed his lovers face. It was cool and proud as always but his eyes shone with that ‘I-don’t-want-to; I-am-forced-to-do-that’ look and he asked himself if he had just imagined the grimace on his face.

Of course, as it was tradition in the wizarding world, his beautiful blonde walked up from the lake; and obviously the lake was not the tradition; with his parents in front of him, guarding him from almost every look.

It was strange, Harry thought again but every one here in Hogwarts had settled into a restricted peace and was smiling and laughing together. Not even thought Death Eaters had dared a bad word until now. And it had shocked him somewhat but oddly the Malfoys had talked with the Weasleys quietly. There he had worried that they were just fighting very silently but he found out later that they actually had talked . . . really talked as if they were old friends or something.

He blinked shortly to clear his mind and concentrate back on his wedding; yes it was his wedding, he had never thought that he would live to that day, even with Voldie still on his neck, but was not that a blessed day?

He was such a lucky little shit. Sixteen years old almost already married and an almost already father. Just the house was missing but that was not really a problem now.

Oh . . . and Draco was even more beautiful in those nice robes. He had only noticed them now with his . . . how was Draco always saying . . . ‘his complete absence of taste’ and with the absence of that, he of course had Hermione and Pansy searched through all this material Mrs. Malfoy had brought with her. But Draco’s were fine, even he could see that. They were black just like his own but his held silver decorations instead of emerald coloured emblems and . . . stuff. What fine robes, really?

And there Harry shook himself out of his musing again, Draco now already standing right beside him. For only a short moment, the raven-haired boy knitted his brows until he focused on the silver eyes in front of him.

How he loved those eyes, how deep they were and told him everything he needed to know about the boy to whom those eyes belonged. And now they belonged to him as well. What had he done to deserve this beauty at his side in his life . . . beside the fact that he was holding the survival of the wizarding world . . . and that seemed not enough to be worth of Draco.

Here he furrowed his brows again because what had happened that he was suddenly such a smooth-talker . . . when he was not really good with his word, more with his actions and . . .

Why was Draco looking strangely at him right now? And Dumbledore too . . . even Blaise on his left side and Hermione on Draco’s?

Oh, right . . . his vow!

Softly he repeated those words; Draco had hammered into his head just hours ago and smiled lovingly at the blonde, holding his hand through the complete process. Then he listened to Draco’s words and his smile brightened even more. He really was a lucky little shit!

And right on his spot he saw the most beautiful smile he loved and adored on Draco’s face and his heart went so light and fluttery and . . . sure thing this was Draco’s most powerful weapon against him, leaving him weak kneed and giddy and as the look in those lovely silver eyes told him, the blonde knew that too.

Carefully, Harry cradled the veela’s face in his hands and kissed his lips softly, laughing happily against the soft skin and watching the merry dance of sparks in Draco’s eyes.

What he didn’t noticed was the bright light that suddenly shot out of them and the light golden and silver bracelets forming on their wrists and the gasps of the crowd surrounding them.

Only when he separated from the Slytherin again, still holding his hand, he become aware of all those wide eyes that stared up at them. Even Dumbledore was huffing shortly.

“Bloody hell! Try to control your happiness! You almost blinded me here!” Blaise growled silently beside them but of course in this shocked silence, which he did not understand at all, everyone heard his words and suddenly the entire ground of Hogwarts was howling in laughter, which confused Harry even more.

“You really are soul mates! I knew it but couldn’t quite believe it, but you are!” Hermione mumbled and a singled tear ran down her cheek and crashed him in a bone-braking hug while she laughed brightly.

“Told you so.” Pansy hummed beside her and patted some dust off her dress.

‘Oh! That would explain the bracelets of course.’ Harry thought shortly until he laughed cheerfully and looked at the crowd around them.

With bright shining emerald eyes he looked at every one of them and then back at Draco.

“You know, I feel the need to tell you something more. Actually, it wasn’t really my idea but Pansy and Hermione wouldn’t shut up about that so . . . “ Harry laughed again when he received a smack on the back of his head for his words from Draco and the two girls at the same time.

“And in need of words I remembered an advertising I watched by accident during one of my stays at the Dursley’s.” he started again and chuckled softly when he saw Draco’s affronted features. He was silent then until everyone around them watched him intensely, wanting to hear his next words exactly . . . to maybe strangle him later, he thought with a silent smirk and looked deeply into his blonde’s eyes.

“A human craves for different things in live. I am lucky enough to already possess all of those things since today, maybe even before . . . ” the emerald-eyed teen spoke slowly but in a strong, deep voice, which carried over the fields and probably reached Hagrid’s hut. The crowd gasped again because they had not heard his voice like this before, mature, strong and self-confident.

“A human craves for precision and I found mine in Draco because he is like me but very different at the same time.

. . .

He is my balance.

. . .

A human craves for strength and I found mine in Draco because when ever I am down, stumbling under the weight on my shoulders, he is there and cheers me up.

. . .

He is my bravery.

. . .

A human craves for beauty and I found mine in Draco because every morning I wake up and ask myself how I deserved so much elegance, grace and magnificence to look at.

. . .

He is my satisfaction.

. . .

A human craves for passion and I found mine in Draco because may it be the love making or fighting, the passion between us had always been there, since the very beginning.

. . .

He is my drive.

. . .

A human craves for peace and I found mine in Draco because when ever I am angry or restless he calms me and tells me about all the good things in life.

. . .

He is my home.

. . .

A human craves for perfection and I found mine in Draco because with all his qualities and characteristics, abilities, peculiarities and individuality he ended my craving.

. . .

You are my rightness.” the last words were only whispered and he still was fascinated with the silvery river swirling in Draco’s eyes, who was sniffing silently . . . along with the crowd it seemed.

Carefully he stroked a few tears from his lover’s cheeks and smiled tenderly at him.

“I love you.” he whispered that only his husband could hear him and watched with an affectionate shake of his head more tears fall from those beautiful eyes.

“Wouldn’t I be so furious with you for making me cry again, I would repeat your words.” Draco mumbled softly still keeping the intimacy in their talk and proving the complete opposite with his soft smile.

And then Harry kissed him again, soft and slow but deeply . . . so very deeply.

Draco looked down at his feet and tried his best to calm again after all he had a few words to say too even when his were directed at the crying crowd. With a short cough, he lifted his head again and smiled brightly at his husband again until he turned his wide-open smile at the circle in front of them.

Of course all these people could do no other than sniff loudly again and beam back when confronted with such brightness.

“I think it’s my turn now. But after this wonderful speech I’m not sure my words reach the same effect than his and that’s a bit annoying, seeing that I am the person in our relationship, who can handle words the best.” the blonde chuckled softly and was granted with happy laughter and a kiss on his cheek.

“Everyone always says that such a connection of people like I experience with Harry is very rare because it is so extraordinary uncommon to actually find the other end of the bond, to find the partner.

But when I look around . . . It seems to be most people here are very lucky and indeed happy.

I can see those lovely bracelets,” he spoke clearly, the joy sounding easily in his steady tone, and lifted his right arm to show his own beautiful piece of jewellery and grinned when some rolled their eyes at his action, “on many arms here. Of course first of all my own parents, who are blushing sweetly. Well beside father maybe, who is actually coursing me right now.

Then Molly and Arthur Weasley, who are looking mortified.

And one of their sons, who is already taken. Bill and Fleur Weasley, who are laughing and cheering presently.

I think everyone here remembers the beautiful girl, who visited our school in our fourth year, Fleur Delacour. How the hell could you meet and marry a Weasley, darling?” Draco laughed mockingly while Fleur coloured slightly and curtseyed to him in her own mockery.

“And with the mention of Fleur we can’t forget her beautiful former teacher Madame Maxime, who managed to snatch Hagrid from all of us. We are still very depressed for losing him to a Frenchman . . . or woman in this case.” he smiled sweetly down at them and was rewarded with a madly flushing Hagrid and a genius grinning Madame Maxime, who patted her husband’s arm slightly.

“I am sure that Pansy and Neville will receive the same gift like us as soon as they manage to decide on a date for their marriage. Hermione and this . . . and her boyfriend are one of those lucky people too, I am certain of that.

I even dare to say that Professor Snape and Professor Lupin would be granted with those truly lovely bracelets too . . . you noticed I like those, haven’t you? . . . if they would stop bitching around like some kindergarten children and behave like the adults they are.” the blond laughed and grinned madly at the swearing from his godfather and the smirking of said godfather’s mate, who shook his head in amusement.

“That really were wonderful words from the both of you, which made everyone happy and tingling but I think now it is time for the cheering after your beautiful ceremony because I feel a light ache in my stomach, which means that I am hungry.” suddenly the headmaster interrupted and twinkled down at the crowd too, which laughed now excited.

“I wasn’t finished!” Draco declared indignant and glared . . . half heartily, he had to admit to himself . . . at Dumbledore and the circle of people covering Hogwarts grounds fell almost over with joyous laughter.

“While everyone runs towards the tables now, I just want to mention that Mrs. Weasley took charge of Hogwarts kitchen . . . and the house elves I’m afraid . . . and graced us with all those fabulous meals.

So if everyone should decide to be poisoned it’s not our fault.” the raven-haired teen completed with a bright smile and waved at their gusts.

“Harry!” called a blushing but piqued Molly Weasley and shook her fist at him while her husband laughed and hugged her for calming.

“That really was a brilliant transition so I’d say . . . storm the buffet!” Dumbledore interjected again and mentioned everyone over toward Hagrid’s hut, where tables were loaded with cakes and every possible kind of meals.

And with excited laughter the crowd marched off toward their . . . destiny by Hagrid’s hut.

“Why Potter, how have you managed to hide your brain so long?” Blaise laughed and waited for them on the end of the stairs.

“I just thought it would be wise because I didn’t want all this attention, you know.” Harry smirked back at the teen and tugged Draco with him, still holding the blonde in his arms.

“If I had known that you could talk like this I would have chosen you instead of my little shy Neville. Really Potter that wasn’t nice.” Pansy giggled and kissed Neville’s cheek when he looked like he might burst into tears the next instant.

“But Pansy I thought you already knew that you wouldn’t stand a chance against me?” Draco snickered and hugged her tightly.

“True I’m afraid . . . but would I have known I would have tried too, I’d say.” Hermione mentioned dryly and shook her head.

“See?” Harry joked with Blaise and looked at his friends, who somehow managed to be his family, with sparkling eyes.

“You should stop looked at everyone like this Harry or I’m afraid this will be the shortest marriage in history.” the black-haired Slytherin girl mumbled and patted his shoulder affectionate.

“Aha . . . now we found out that you are really in love with Harry!” Draco all but screeched and laughed joyously when he noticed his friends coloured faces.

“This was actually a joke.” he then huffed and stomped his foot.

“Way to ruin the mood, Draco. I am so proud of you.” Harry mumbled and cuddled him closer.

“It wasn’t supposed to, so stop shaking you’re head as if disappointed!”

“But I am, can’t you see?”

“Stop you two! Some of us still need their stomach muscles!” Blaise interjected their short little banter and snickered excited when both glared hotly at him.

“Now let’s storm the buffet like Dumbledore mentioned, I’m hungry.” Hermione huffed and strode off hurriedly.

“She’s so lovely sometimes.” Pansy mumbled but followed her Gryffindor friend nevertheless.

When Draco wanted to follow his friends too he suddenly felt himself tugged back roughly into Harry’s arms and could only blink slowly to get rid of the dizziness in his head.

Slowly he looked up at his lover . . . husband, he could call him husband yet, would you believe it? . . . and smiled softly when he noticed the sparkle in those deep emerald eyes.

“You know . . . “ Harry slurred softly and smiled lovingly down at his blonde. “You know . . . I love you. Did I ever tell you that?”

“Not yet today.” Draco snickered and let his eyelids flutter suggestively.

“Then I might correct that so far. I love you.” Harry mumbled and smiled while he bent down the few inches that were separating him from Draco’s soft lips.

“You might.” the blonde whispered back and closed his eyes in anticipation.

***

“Mrs. Weasley? Can I talk to you for a moment?” he called softly and toughed her arm carefully.

“Of course darling but please call me Molly.

You’re with Harry now and therefore you’re with us, so there’s no need to be all that polite.” the red-haired woman told him with a parental smile.

Draco grinned up at her and an almost silent sound left his throat.

“Mrs . . .” he stopped shortly at the strict look in her blue eyes, “Molly. I was just curious if you would make me a content man and teach me all those household spells. I want to be able to make Harry happy too and cook for him and clean his clothes and . . . all that.”

“But of course darling!” she all but screamed in his face and lifted him into a crushing hug. He could actually look over her shoulder now and witnessed Ron standing behind them with wide eyes and a strangled expression on his face . . . not to mention the choked sounds he made.

He just could not stop the gleeful smirk on his lips and the malicious glitter in his eyes.

***

“Hiya Harry! You look good.” Tonks cried out and hit him on the shoulder, her hair today a neon red . . . in honour of the occasion.

“I am feeling good, thanks.” He laughed and repeated her gesture.

“Cousin Nympha . . . what a pleasure to see you today.” Draco drawled smilingly and glared when she wanted to pat his shoulder too.

“Yeah . . . Dumbledore got us here to watch out because of all these Death Eaters.” She mumbled and looked around, locating Kingsley some tables away and sighing relieved.

And the blond could not hide his smirk again . . . and he really felt bad for it, really!

“Now stop being all intimidating . . . Tonks would you honour me with your presence and dance with me?” Harry interrupted them with a silent laugh.

“Jump to the music, you mean?” Draco asked with an innocent expression on his face complete with an angelic smile and fluttering eyelashes.

“Of course you little prat since when do you need to ask?” Tonks replied and already tugged him towards the moving, jumping like Draco called it, crowd.

“It’s a shame that Sirius isn’t here. You two would do so much . . . trouble. That would be so hilarious, don’t you think?” Harry muttered still laughing and tugging on her arm too.

Grinning, he looked back and noticed how Draco shook his head with the hint of a smile on his sweet lips.

As expected, Draco would never dance with him . . . at least not to this kind of music. Only a little bit sad about that, he watched his blonde turn and wander off in a different direction.

***

“Since when are those two the biggest of friends?” Harry asked and watched Draco interact with Fleur.

“Since they met in fourth year, stupid. They love to talk in her mother tongue you know. Sometimes it’s strange that he knows all those languages and actually speaks them perfectly.” Blaise muttered and shook his head.

“But I thought that all purebloods could more than just one language?” Harry inquired softly with a puzzled expression clouding his eyes.

“Most do but the Malfoys are somewhat special because they all mastered at least five speeches if not more.” the dark teen replied and knitted his brows.

“They look totally at ease with each other.” the Gryffindor remarked silently still watching them closely.

“They even write to each other.” Bill muttered and joined them smiling, slinging his arm over Harry’s shoulder.

“They do?” that was actually totally new to the raven-haired teen.

“Yup, and I have no clue what they are talking about. Sometimes it’s really annoying I might say.” the redhead nodded keeping his eyes on those two too.

“Maybe it’s because they’re both some kind of veela?” Blaise suggested but did not look convinced the slightest himself.

“Hm . . .” Harry muttered and watched the blond woman touching his lover’s . . . husband’s stomach.

“Hm . . .” Bill hummed, observing them intently too.

“That is my place to touch!” the raven-haired teen hissed and pulled both of his friends attention towards himself.

“Yeah . . . and that is mine.” Bill suddenly muttered while lightings flashed trough his blue eyes.

Blaise watched them aggravated and lifted both brows when he looked back at the two veela.

“Is she expecting?” Harry drawled and one of his eyebrows met his hairline when Fleur suddenly burst into tears.

“No, not yet.” Bill grumbled and shook his head.

“Maybe we should . . .” the emerald-eyed one then growled silently, sounding like an enraged animal.

“I agree . . .” the redhead approved and both went into action.

Blaise could only shake his head. This two . . . four were strange, really strange.

***

“Draco . . . son we need to talk, in private.” Lucius whispered softly while watching his son and his spouse like a hawk.

“Sure, let’s go to the dungeons.” he mumbled back and immediately turned towards the castle, Harry on his hand.

“Why the dungeons lover?” the raven-haired one whined sourly because of his favourite location in Hogwarts.

“Because no one’s there.” Draco muttered and shook his head. He really was only the slightest bit annoyed with the emerald-eyed teen, really, only the slightest bit. Just tugging him away from Fleur as if he would . . . flirt?

Oh.

“Yeah . . . because no one would go there willingly.” Harry grumbled and tugged his husband back at his side.

Both did not notice what the blonde’s parents were doing behind them so they had not seen the dreadful gesture of Lucius Malfoy towards Harry. Like this of course they did not see how Narcissa Malfoy shake her head frantically and that the Death Eater in spé was gesturing even more drastically after her disproval. However, she just shrugged then in a very un-Malfoyish kind and received herself a slap.

The blond woman took a deep silent breath and stopped staring at her husband until he finally turned around. He had not done something like that since they had been in Hogwarts! But technically . . . they were in Hogwarts, right now . . .

Within a few seconds, she was in front of him glaring daggers at him while her features deformed in a very furious expression.

Startled, the blonde man took a step back and held out his hands as if saying that it was not his fault . . . whatever she was angry about.

Draco frowned softly while they watched his parents.

‘They were playing one of their stupid games again, weren’t they?’ he asked himself and shook his head.

“Mom, dad! You wanted to talk so get a move, will you? I don’t have all day!” he growled annoyed and shook his head again.

“Haven’t I raised you well enough to know that you should not talk to your parents like that?” Lucius Malfoy drawled his words as sharp as a sword.

“The baby, darling. The baby.” suddenly his wife soothed and patted his cheek softly. Wide eyed, he stared at her and his face showed his thoughts clearly to her.

That was not an excuse!

But suddenly Narcissa looked strangely at the raven-haired young man and scrutinized him silently. Her head titled softly and her eyes fastened on her son-in-law’s with a strong gaze.

“I still do not know if you are good enough for my little darling.” she mumbled, her words not showing the threat which was shining I her cool eyes and Harry’s own went wide with startlement.

“That is exactly what I told you!”, her husband caught up shortly, “But no! Look what you’ve done! They are married!”

“That wasn’t my idea, sweetheart. You pressured them because your son-in-law knocked Draco up.” the beautiful blond woman smiled softly at him, her shining eyes now filled with pity and Draco’s jaw dropped in utter astonishment that his mother actually used such words.

“Of course!” Lucius shrieked and turned swiftly to glare at Harry. “Of course! It is your fault! Now look what you’ve done! You’re married!

And don’t look at me like that Narcissa!”

Poor Harry could do no other than stare open mouthed and wide eyed at them, with no thought in his mind. What could he say anyway?

But Narcissa Malfoy only laughed because with the mention of her grandson . . . was she really already a grandmother . . . but she still was so young and beautiful . . . her thoughts turned back to their original encouragement to talk to their child, not that they needed one, mind you.

His wedding present.

“Well . . . “, Lucius sighed and resigned himself to his fate, “As tradition requests it is our honour and task to present you. Consider this your wedding present.”

And there he took a little roll of parchment out of his robes and held it toward Draco. Right now, he was not that close to tradition but he would never hand a gift over to a Potter, never in live!

Was Draco a Potter now too?

Silently and still not really recovered form the scene he had just witnessed he opened the sealing wax softly and looked at the file in amazement.

Surprised and with a weird feeling in his stomach he looked up and watched both Malfoys critically.

Was it true? Could he actually believe this and accept it?

And then he handed the parchment over to Harry who read it fast and could not help himself but look up unbelievingly.

“Father, mother . . .” his voice broke and he blinked shortly to clear his view again. “How did you know?”

“What? No Malfoy will ever life without their own estate!” the suddenly stoic man snarled surprised when he noticed the tears in his son’s eyes.

“But how did you know about my wish for an own house like this? That is exactly the right place for us, even when it’s in France and Harry doesn’t understand a word.” the blond Slytherin whispered touched and smiled brightly at his parents, making his husband knit his brows because he did not want anyone to see that ‘holy’ smile, which was his! And he did understand a few phrases . . . thank you very much.

“What house?” the blond man muttered confused and took the parchment from his son’s-in-law forcefully to check it for mistakes again.

“You just brought it because of its size?” Draco sighed and shook his head almost dreadfully.

“Of course! Why else would I buy it? Certainly not because of this . . . hut on it!” Lucius drawled back looking still sceptically at the file in his hands and his son.

“Right, you never listen to me.”

“That’s right!”

“Why should I accept it?”

“Because you do everything I want.”

“When have I ever done anything you wanted me to do?”

“Oh . . . there was this time . . . in your second year here . . . and . . .”

“That was an exception!”

“You two are so sweet when you’re arguing, you know that?” Narcissa sighed dreamily and watched with silent laughter how both of her men turned annoyed towards her with dangerous sparks in their eyes.

“And by the way, there is one more present. Nap!” she hissed and snapped her fingers powerfully. With a smoking puff, suddenly a house elf appeared in front of them and looked around frightened.

“Greet your new master, my son Draco Malfoy!” she spoke softly but demandingly at the elf and waited for his reaction.

The elf turned slowly and abruptly bowed deeply towards Draco that it almost looked as if he was crouching on the ground.

The blonde could only lift a surprised brow but then a smile broke through his features. “Hallo Nap, it’s nice to meet you.”

The tiny elf looked up startled and with wide eyes.

“Nap is really happy to see you too sir!” he screeched and bowed down again.

“Now stop doing that bowing stuff, it’s rather irritating, you know.” Draco huffed shortly but held the smile on his face. The creature looked up again, nodded frantically, and bowed down once more.

“We sent him on your estate so he could take some care of it. It might be the right size for a Malfoy but there still is a lot of work to do.” Narcissa smiled gently at her son and caressed his cheek lovingly.

“I will go there tomorrow and give him some tasks while I’m still in school.” Draco mumbled back and enclosed his mother in a hug.

“You may go back.” Lucius ordered the house elf and then watched his family with a small smile.

Harry of course still stood where they had left him with unbelieving wide eyes and an open hanging mouth. They were all crazy, just crazy! And he had married one of them; he must have lost his mind too.

Because Draco was as mad as his parents were and . . . he always had thought only Lucius was nuts but now look at that whole family . . .

Oh god!

“Oh come on love, let me sleep.” Draco whined and closed his eyes again even when he was leaning against a wall in his husband’s dorm room, said husband pressed up against him.

“No, you know how things work in the honeymoon.” The raven-haired teen hummed and kissed his veela’s throat lovingly, loving the tender quarrel between them.

“But we have no honeymoon, we have classes tomorrow.” the blonde argued feeling slightly dizzy again.

“No Draco. First the lovemaking and then sleep. Come and think of it . . . we’re actually supposed to make love the whole night and sleep during classes tomorrow.” Harry declared and nibbled on his husbands jaw line.

“But Harry . . . I am carrying your child, which is by the way sucking the entire energy out of me and you want me to stay up the whole night?” there was that sweet whine again.

“I don’t want you to stay up all night; I want to make love to you the whole night.”

“Which is completely the same you monster.”

“Come on . . . I’m hungry.”

“Than eat, where I thought you had enough food for the entire week . . . no! Not me!”

“You’re such a romantic you know.” Harry muttered dejected and strolled off.

“Thank you, my mother’s genes.”

“I bet!” and the glare was set straight on his handsome features.

“Oh . . . Griffin, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Now come here and fuck me.” Draco sighed and suddenly jumped the now laughing Gryffindor.

”Didn’t I just . . .”

“Yeah, yeah . . . make love to me Harry!” he begged sweetly and fluttered his lashes again . . . for the hundredth time this day he thought.

“Okay.”

“Harry? Can we do it softly . . . but hurry a bit?” the blonde suggested with a loving smile.

“I don’t know if I can handle you tonight.” the emerald-eyed teen chuckled and pushed the blonde on the bed.

“You never could before, you know.”

“Prat!”

“Thank you, my father’s genes.”

“Mhm . . . keep doing that.”

A/N: Uhm . . . ya. I’m such a lazy ass, I know . . . but please don’t hurt me. *begging eyes*

Harry’s words actually were really an advertising I watched on TV one day . . . at least the half of it. I thought it beautiful and I recorded it and . . . since then those words had been designed for Harry. What I hadn’t thought of was that I cried like a baby while I tried to write them down. Not an easy task I might say because everything was so blurry. +_+

I know, only 10 pages, really short but I hadn’t planned more to it. However, the soppy stuff is over for now because now we get to all those pregnancy symptoms and all that.

See ya . . . hopefully.

Yes, six more and if I‘m good the tenth will be finished soon. Even when I really should not write right now because my finals are coming closer and closer. ^_^
