A Thank You Kiss

Lucius staggered out of his and Harry\'s bedroom. He was exhausted and he once again managed to make Harry cry though what exactly he did he couldn\'t remember. But it was like that every day now. Now that Harry was very much pregnant and Harry\'s loud tantrums were famous among the inhabitants of the Malfoy Manor.
\"Did he throw you out again?\" asked Draco as he saw his father sinking into a deep armchair a hand over his face.
\"Again. And again I have no idea what I did wrong.\"
\"Nothing wrong probably. But you know with Harry these days you neverw. w. But don\'t worry, father, he will be here soon enough begging you to forgive him and once again you will forgive him every word he said and every thing he threw at you.\"
\"I don\'t know how much longer though I can take it.\" said Lucius with a heavy sigh rubbing his temples.
\"Don\'t worry about that too, father. You will take it as long as it takes.\"
But Harry took a long time coming to Lucius\' to beg to be forgiven this time though usually it really didn\'t take him long before he would be nuzzling Lucius\' cheek and Lucius would be kissing him back forgiving him with his kisses better than any words could.
Harry thought that it wasn\'t fair to act that way towards Lucius. Even if at times he felt worse for wear and even if he was sure that it was Lucius\' fault he shouldn\'t have yelled and thrown all those things at the man he loved, at the man who now was his husband. Harry loved Lucius very much and now as he was taking stroll he felt worse than ever. What if Lucius said that it was enough and he wasn\'t going to take it anymore. What if he said Harry that he was leaving? What if after one of those infamous tantrums of Harry\'s he would leave or better would tell Harry take his things and to leave for good, because it was his home in the first place. Harry shook his head fiercely. I need to take my emotions and impulses under control. I can\'t lose the man I love just because I\'m in a mood to throw things at him. I need to apologize and this time not because I know that he will forgive me but because I was wrong. With that resolution Harry strode back into the house trying to fight back the demons that were occasionally rising inside of him making him say terrible things to Lucius and act in general like an extremely spoilt child that he was not.
He found Lucius in an armchair with a book in his hands. With Draco sitting by the table. As soon as Draco saw Harry enter he left the room but not before scowling at his step-dad. Lucius though either didn\'t notice or just didn\'t want to notice that Harry stood by the door. The realization that Lucius might not want to see him ever again made Harry\'s heart race wild in his chest his throat constricted. He said in a small apologetic voice not daring approaching the man but staying in the doorway.
\"Lucius?\"
Lucius\' eyes rose to meet Harry\'s very pregnant form that wasn\'t less enticing than his normal one.
\"Harry.\"
Taking it as a permission to enter Harry came up to Lucius and fell on his knees right in front of the man pressing his chin against Lucius\' knee.
\"I\'m sorry.\"
Lucius sighed but said nothing just stroking silently messy hair of his troublesome husband.
\"I know I\'ve said it before. But…\"
Harry broke off and took something out of a pocket and placed it on Lucius\' palm. Lucius gasped.
\"Beautiful, isn\'t it?\" asked Harry with a small smile tracing Lucius\' hand with his fingers where a small perfect white rose now lay, \"I thought that would be a good way to say you once again how truly sorry I am for my behavior. I promise you that I\'ll try to keep my violent urges no matter what in future to myself. I promise not to yell or throw things at you. I will apologize to Draco and Severus too because I acted intolerable towards them as well. But please, Lucius, don\'t leave me!\" Harry sobbed into his knee, \"Don\'t leave me.\" he repeated more hoarsely this time.
\"Harry, come with me.\" said Lucius a bit startled by Harry\'s sudden plea. He couldn\'t understand why Harry thought that he was going to leave him. Harry took Lucius\' outstretched hand and followed him to their bedroom. There Lucius sat on the bed and motion Harry to sit in between his legs. As Harry was comfortably settled Lucius kissed the top of his head and started stroking his prominent belly.
\"Harry, I am not going to leave you. You\'ll have to do more than just yell and to throw things at me for that matter.\"
\"Don\'t leave me.\" continued Harry through tiny sobs.
\"I won\'t.\" Continued reassuring Lucius.
\"Because if you do I won\'t make it. I don\'t even want to go on without you by my side. If you go I\'d simply lie down and die.\" Continued Harry.
\"Harry I repeat I am not leaving you. Not now not ever.\" Continued Lucius in a firm voice.
Harry turned his head to look at Lucius tears brimming in his eyes.
\"Forgive me?\" asked Harry his voice trembling.
\"Forgive you.\" Replied Lucius shaking his head amazed at the young wizard in his hands.
\"Still love me?\" asked Harry once again his voice filled with fear and uncertainty.
\"Still love you.\" Replied Lucius with a small smile.
Harry smiled and leaned in to receive his kiss of absolution.
