The Riddle Heiress

Author Note: Sorry for the wait but school, life and work are getting in the way of updating. So here's a little morsel to chew on Hogwarts is coming soon.



Albus knew exactly who these chosen 4 were. After the meeting was over he went to Hogwarts to type the letters out. The first letter would go to Draco Malfoy.



Malfoy Manor



“Draco dear it’s finally here” Narcissa yelled up the stairs for her son. Draco ran down the stairs to go read his letter from Hogwarts.
The letter read: Draco Malfoy, It is with great admiration and appreciation that we welcome you to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the upcoming school year. The school year will start August 31st enclosed is a list of supplies that you will need for the school year and also a list of books you will have to buy. Headmaster Dumbledore p.s. the train leaves at 11am from platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross-Station in London.



Draco read the letter over and over to make sure that he had read it right.
Narcissa looked at Draco and asked “Draco dear what did the letter say.”
He snaps out of his daze and answers “Mum I got into Hogwarts.”
Lucius steps out from the shadows and says, “of course you got in because there would have been consequences had you not.”



Draco knew exactly what his father was talking about. He would have been beat him and Crucio him or both either one wasn’t good. When the Dark Lord disappeared Lucius found a new hobby and it was called See if Draco bleeds.
Draco hated that game but he was often playing that game more and more. Draco remembered a time when his father had caused him to lose one of the most precious people in his life.



It was 7 years after the Dark Lord had disappeared. Lucius was starting to lose it waiting for his master to call on him. I was outside playing in the sandbox with my best friend at the time Ron when my father had come looking for me. “Draco what is this blood traitor doing at our house” Lucius said. “Dad his name isn’t blood traitor it’s Ronald Weasley and he’s a pureblood just like us” Draco said.



Lucius looked at his son them he looked at the Weasley boy and told “Draco to come inside. Mr. Weasley wait here we shall return.”
Ron just nodded his head and continued to play in the sandbox. Draco and Lucius walked into the house and as soon as the door closed Lucius casted the Crucio curse on Draco.
Draco fell to the floor and asked through gritted teeth “why daddy. What did I do.” Lucius looked at his son and said “it’s simple you hang with blood traitors you get treated like a blood traitor.”
“Daddy Ron isn’t a blood traitor he’s a pureblood wizard like me,” Draco said.
Lucius looked at Draco and shook his head again and casted another Crucio curse.
“Draco what are Ron parents name” Lucius asked.
“Oh I know this one it Arthur and Molly Weasley” Draco proudly said. “
"Yes and are they followers of the Dark Lord” Lucius asked.

Draco didn’t say anything because he really didn’t know who followed the Dark Lord and who didn’t so he said what came natural
“Father if you’re a pureblood then you’re a follower of the Dark Lord.” Lucius was proud of his son answer but had to stay strong
“Son that isn’t true. Molly and Arthur aren’t followers of the Dark Lord.
They betrayed the Dark Lord and caused him to be banished.” Lucius said.
That’s when it hit Draco like a ton of bricks he couldn’t hang around Ron ever again because Ron parents had betrayed the Dark Lord.

Lucius started talking again “Son you know what you have to do.
Now go back outside and put that blood traitor in his place.”
Draco walked back outside knowing what he had to do“Hey Dray next week Mum says you can spend the night” Ron said.

“Ron I can’t spend the night next week” Draco says.

“Mum said you could Dray” Ron says.

“Dammit you filthy blood traitor I don’t want to spend the night over your filthy house” Draco yelled.


Ron didn’t know what to do and there was that word again blood traitor. He looked at Draco because he was hurt by what he said.
Ron did the only thing he knew and that was lose his cool “You ferret just because were not rich like you doesn’t make us filthy or blood traitors.”

Draco put a smirk on his face and says “anyone who doesn’t follow the Dark Lord is a blood traitor and your piss poor family is filthy.”

Ron walks over to Draco and punches him in the face then uses the portkey in his jacket to go back home.



Draco gets up to look for Ron but realizes that he’s gone and will never return.
Draco cries for the first time in his life over his lost best friend. Lucius walks over to Draco and says “Malfoy’s don’t cry” and walks away.
Draco snaps back from the memory and glares at his father. “Did you want something?” Lucius asks.



“No just thinking of a friend from long ago,” Draco says.
Lucius just nods his head and walks away.
Draco starts to wonder whatever happened to Ron but shakes his head and goes back to his room.



The second letter



Ron Weasley had been waiting on his letter from Hogwarts to come all summer and it was finally here. He rushed over to the table to read his letter:
Ronald Weasley It is with great admiration and appreciation that we welcome you to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the upcoming school year. The school year will start August 31st enclosed is a list of supplies that you will need for the school year and also a list of books you will have to buy.

Ron scratched his head at what the last part side and shrugged it off.
He ran up the stairs to show his parents the letter.
“Mum, Dad I got my letter from Hogwarts, but it says something weird at the end that I couldn’t figure it out” Ron says and hands the letter over to his parents.
Arthur and Molly take the letter and look at it. They don’t see the same thing that Ron saw when he first read the letter. “Ron it just says that the train leaves August 31 from King’s Cross Station at 11 a.m.” Arthur says.



Ron looks at his father like he’s lost his mind but doesn’t argue it.
It must have a spell on it for only his eyes to read the last line.
He took the letter back to his room and lay on the bed and wondered what it could have meant.
People in the past change. That could only mean one person Draco Malfoy
