Bill's Wedding and the Book of Alchemy

Chapter 7- Bill's Wedding and the Book of Alchemy
August 1, 2008

Harry woke up early. He was too used to waking up at five in the morning. He watched as a rather large owl swooped into the room. He grabbed a few owl treats as he relieved the owl of the package. The owl gave a soft hoot as thanks and flew out the window.

Harry saw the return address of the package was Gringotts. It had a simple note attached telling him that is was spell book he might want out of his vault. He opened it to find five books on alchemy. Only four of them were actual spell books. The one on the top was a book on gaining and using alchemic power.

Harry could hear Hermione getting up. He told her to come in as he read 'Alchemic Power and You'. As soon as Hermione saw he was reading, her eyes locked on the four books at his side and especially the one he was reading.

"Do you mind if I see that book?" Hermione asked with her voice full of hope.

"All you had to do was ask, Hermione. You know I have never said no to you." Harry replied with a laugh and handed her the book.

Harry watched as she read the book. He could see the wheels turning in her head. He was surprised to see a wicked smile on her face. If he had to place it, the smile was the one she gave when she was about to break the rules. He couldn't help but find it extremely cute. Then, Hermione did the other thing Harry had always found hot. Harry loved it when she bit her lower lip.

"Harry, it says that you gain more power with the more 'slaves' you have. I would have to find you more women to be with." Hermione said with a wicked grin.

"Hermione, I never wanted anyone other than you. I wouldn't feel right being with another woman without you there." Harry told her shaking his head.

"Don't worry, Harry. You lucked out I happen to like women." Hermione told him blushing.

"YOU WHAT?!!" Harry almost yelled out.

"Shhh! I am bi-curious, Harry. I never thought about sharing anyone, but I would be happy to do it for you, but I get to pick the other girls." Hermione told him.

"Are you sure, Hermione? I could never ask you to do that. I don't want to have slaves either!" Harry told her without any doubt in his words.

"You aren't asking me to do anything, Harry. I want to do it. I was wondering how to ask you if we could share a woman. It looks like I don't have to now." Hermione told him her smile getting wider and wider.

Harry argued with Hermione for a couple of hours. In the end, Hermione had won the argument like she always did. Hermione left, and sat in her room for a while trying to figure out just who she and Harry would like. Sadly, she was currently drawing a blank.

Harry, still in his room, was getting dressed for the wedding. He wasn't exactly looking forward to seeing Ginny and Ron. If Bill didn't want them there, they would have simply skipped it. Harry wasn't one to skip out on a friend's request.

Harry changed his appearance back to what he looked like before his birthday, and got dressed. He grabbed his father's invisibility cloak because he had a bad feeling about the wedding. When he made it down the stairs, he found Hermione already ready in the living room. Harry lead her outside, and they both apparated to the Burrow.

They mixed into the crowd holding each other’s hands. They had seen no reason to hide they were going out now. They saw a lot of people they knew from Hogwarts at the reception. Neville was talking to Ginny off in the corner. Luna was there writing down everything she saw with an arm band on saying 'The Quibbler'. McGonagall was talking animatedly to Bill while Fleur was talking to her younger sister, Gabriella. Hagrid was off to the side with a few hippogriffs with a banner saying 'Congrats Bill and Fleur!'. Lupin and Tonks were talking to each about the security being a joke at the open bar. Fred, George, Charlie, and Arthur were setting things up exactly like a very loud Molly Weasley told them to. Percy had not shown up. Then they saw what they didn't want to, Ron was over by the broom shed snogging Lavender.

Bill and Fleur broke off their conversations, and they greeted Harry and Hermione. McGonagall wasn't far behind them. McGonagall smiled at them, and she handed them their letters. Harry and Hermione opened their letters to find they had made head boy and head girl.

"How did I become head boy? Don't you need to be a prefect first?" Harry asked McGonagall.

"No. You don't have to be a prefect. You just have to be a good student and keep your grades up." McGonagall told him. "Now, I know you have other things you have to do. Come see me tomorrow, and we will discuss the terms. I will have to admit that I wouldn't reopen the school if I couldn't have you two there. We all know, Lord Potter, that you are the only one alive that Voldemort fears."

"Alright. Harry and I will be there to discuss terms tomorrow. We won't make up our minds until then." Hermione told McGonagall.

"Headmasters office tomorrow. Hermione, I trust you will make sure Harry is there." McGonagall said with a smile catching them holding hands then turned and left.

"When did thiz 'appen?" Fleur asked with a wide smile.

"It is a long story. Let's just say things have happened over the summer, Fleur." Hermione told her with her smile falling a little.

"Is this about Ron and Lavender?" Bill asked casting his eyes to the two in question.

"Yeah. You know Harry was forced to live at our house since the Dursley’s disappeared. I was in his room waiting for him, and Erol came in with an undressed letter. I thought it was for me since Harry wasn't in the room. I read it, and well it wasn't too kind to me. I have had a crush on Harry for a long time anyway. Since we were both single, I made my move, and now here we are." Hermione explained.

"Do you have anything to say at all, Harry?" Bill joked with Harry.

"Why talk when Hermione has it basically covered?" Harry retorted.

"You better get up there the Priest is trying to get your attention." Hermione remarked.

"It looks like they knew what Ron was up to." Harry commented after Bill and Fleur made their way to the stage.

Everyone took their seats. Harry and Hermione sitting in the back row. They watched as Bill and Fleur said their vows. Fleur looked like it was the happiest day of her life, and Bill smiled the whole way through. It wasn't until the bouquet that Ron and Lavender even noticed them.

Harry had a bad feeling as Lavender pulled Hermione away with her. He quickly pulled his invisibility cloak out of his pocket, and he put it on. He followed Hermione and Lavender off to a spot far away from the rest of the wedding party. He leaned in to hear their conversation.

"You are with Harry now? What makes you think he won't leave you for some other girl like Ron did? I mean Ron is just a cute normal wizard. How would you hold the attention of the Boy-Who-Lived? Not that I would ever go for some suicidal nut case like Harry. I mean he doesn't even look good. He is scrawny and you would think Quidditch would at least given him some muscles. Bloody hell, if it wasn't for his fame and money, Ginny wouldn't be interested in Harry. What does a muggle-born like you with no real charm have to offer?" Lavender belittled Hermione.

Harry couldn't take listening to anymore. He was barely in control of his anger. He slipped of his cloak. He had to tell Lavender that he loved Hermione, and that she was just being a slag.

"What would a slag that shags some girls boyfriend know. I love Hermione. I don't care what you bloody well say. I think she is hot, and I think I should send Ron's letter off to the Quibbler just to show what kinda guy he is. You are the one that is second class. For the record, Hermione dumped Ron's sorry arse." Harry raged never noticing Luna, Ron, and Ginny walk up behind him.

"You what? You can't love Hermione. You belong to me!" Ginny screamed.

"Don't you dare call Lavender a slag. You just had to have Hermione. You couldn't even let me have two witches when you get everything else. I trusted you to keep that information to yourself, you prat!" Ron screamed right after Ginny finished.

"Do you even remember how the Dursley's treated me? I was everything short of beaten. I was treated like gum on the bottom of their shoes. You have loving parents. You don't have a madman trying to kill you at every turn. I get a letter that Hermione read first that didn't have my name on the post, by the way. You had the stones to ask me to help you get Hermione to put out!" Harry raged as his concentration slipped, and he changed back to his new body.

"Ronald! You knew Harry lived like that and didn't say a word! You tried to get him to get Hermione to shag you! You acted like he had everything when during the summer he wasn't even treated like a human being! I don't know you, Ronald Weasley!" Luna screamed.

Hermione just stood back, and she watched as Harry defended her and himself. She noticed Ginny shut up, and couldn't take her eyes off of Harry's body. She watched as the whole wedding party, having heard everything that was said, join in.

"Great now everyone knows my business! I should curse you!" Ron screamed pulling out his wand.

"Ronald William Weasley do not forget you owe me more than one wizard life debts!" Harry yelled out turning to face Ron and his wand.

Everyone was shocked. Ron dropped his wand, and he went white. He remembered being saved by Harry many times. Harry saved him from the spiders in the forbidden forest. Harry had pushed him out of the way when the rocks fell in the chamber of secrets. Harry had saved him in the Tri-wizard Tournament. Harry saved him again at the Ministry as Harry, alone, stood his ground delaying the death eaters. He owed Harry his life so many more times, but those where the one that stuck in his mind.

" Harry, you can't be with Hermione! We are destined to be together! I will have you even if I have to remove Hermione from the picture!" Ginny screamed when she finally took her eyes off of Harry's body.

"Ginny, Ron isn't the only one that owes me a life debt! I am sure you remember that I saved you from the Chamber of Secrets!" Harry yelled not caring who heard him.

"Arthur, do something!" Mrs. Weasley yelled at her husband.

"He can't, Mrs. Weasley. I saved his life, and you know it! In fact, all of your family owes me in one way or another." Harry turned to Mr. Weasley and yelled at Mrs. Weasley.

"Someone do something!" Mrs. Weasley screamed.

"Unless you have some Muggle friends, no one can in theory everyone owes me a life debt for defeating Voldemort when I was a baby!" Harry yelled with power flowing off of him, and everyone turned white except Luna.

"Let's just go, Harry." Hermione told him.

Harry didn't say a word. He just grabbed Hermione, and they disappeared with a quiet pop. They reappeared at the Granger home. As they walked inside, Mr. and Mrs. Granger looked at Hermione was on the verge of tears, and Harry looking like he was ready to kill. After a long explanation, Harry put the house under a Fidelius Charm. The party was forgotten.

Harry and Hermione, without a sound, disappeared from the Grangers and reappeared at the shrieking shack. The alchemy items were already there, but the house needed to be fixed up. Harry looked around and decided it was too small.

"Dobby!" Harry called out to thin air.

"Yes, Lord Potter, sir. Dobby is happy to help you in anyway." Dobby replied the moment he appeared out of nowhere.

"Would you like to work for me? I will pay you 10 galleons a week with weekends off." Harry told Dobby.

"Dobby would like very much, Lord Potter sir." Dobby replied without a pause.

"Good. If Winky wants to be bound to a family, she can bind with mine. I need a couple of loyal house-elves. If she ever changes her mind about being paid, she only needs to ask." Harry told him.

Dobby disappeared with a pop. He hadn't been gone for more than a couple minutes when he returned with Winky. Winky was hopping up and down on her feet. She seemed to really like the idea of serving a family again. She wasted no time pledging her loyalty to the Potter family.

"The first thing I need you to do is to fix up the bedrooms. Hermione and I are going to need a place to sleep. After that, I am going to need you to ward the house, and add on at least a few more rooms. I need an alchemy lab, potions lab, and anything else you can think of. Tell us soon as you have the bedrooms finished." Harry ordered Dobby and Winky.

"Just make that one bedroom for now." Hermione said and laughed at the look on Harry's face.

"Why only one bedroom?" Harry asked her.

"I owe you a wizarding debt too don't forget. I also am your girlfriend and your loyal servant. I don't see why we can't sleep in the same bed." Hermione replied.

Dobby and Winky spent less them thirty minutes before the bedroom was done. They continued working on the house as Harry and Hermione went to bed. Hermione having won the argument about sleeping in the same room. They finished the changes around midnight, and they retired to a room they created for themselves.
