Chapter 7

Hermione opened her eyes and gazed up at the canopy of the bed. Her body ached. Not just a sore muscle ache. It was a full-blown ache of muscles that you never thought could ache. She held her breath as Lucius rolled over in bed beside her. Rolling her eyes to the side she peered out the corner of her eyes at him. Seeing him asleep next to her was a new experience on top of a weekend full of new experiences. Turning her head she studied him more closely. She wanted to touch him and feel his skin against her again and again. You would think that as sore as her body is that it would want a break, but apparently that wasn’t going to happen. Flushing scarlet she faced the canopy again trying to calm her breathing and her body’s clamoring.

“Well, I guess now as good as anytime to get up. I’m wide-awake and not a chance of sleep at this rate. I wonder what day it is?” She muttered. Her body had gotten use to being touched whenever it was awake.

Hermione slid out of bed and grabbed a robe that was lying across a nearby chair. Pulling it on she looked around the room for her clothing. Not finding them she hoped that it was still early enough that none of her fellow students would see her heading for her room wearing Malfoy’s, umm, Lucius’s robe.

Hearing a snore from the bed behind her, Hermione turned and narrowed her eyes at her new husband. “A Malfoy that snores? My ass.” She stated. Reaching down to quietly pick up a pillow that had fallen off the bed due to circumstances best not dwelt on just now. She raised the pillow above her head and with all her strength and experience from dorm room pillow fights she brought it down on his head. Feathers exploded and the snoring stopped.

Gathering the length of the robe in her hand she raced for the chamber door, rushing into the next room she ran for the door leading into the hall. Hearing footsteps behind her had Hermione hurrying to the shelter of her room in Griffondor Tower. Reaching her room she bent over gasping for breath. Thankfully it was still early enough in the morning hours that there were no students in the halls. And thankfully her room had its own access other than the one through the Griffondor common room. Straightening back up Hermione sighed deeply and walked slowly into the bathroom for a nice hot bath.

Hermione rested heavily on the rim of the tub when her best friend, Ginny rushed into the bathroom.

“What in the world?”

“Oh good. Here you are. Everyone has been waiting to see you. Harry and Ron both have been in fits and are barely passing in their classes on their own. Oh and I have so much to tell you. Hermione why are you still in the bath. We’re going to be late for breakfast. Well anyways, did you know Pansy made another play for Malfoy again about a week ago? He turned her down flat even with her almost as bare as the day she was born.” Ginny slanted a look out of the corner of her eye as Hermione, wrapped in a towel, walked to her trunk for her robes. “The Malfoys’s have been up to something. The last few weeks they have been acting very secretive. Almost like they were, are hiding something. Even Dumbledore has been seen talking quietly in corners with Snape and the older Malfoy. Whatever could be going on?”

“Ginny, take a deep breath. I’m not ready to go down for breakfast yet. Its still early yet and I need to catch up on my homework, I’ll meet you in the Great Hall in time to eat and find out from the boys exactly how far behind they have fallen in their courses. We’ll get to the bottom of this when we have a bit more information than just sightings.” Hermione turned away from her trunk still wrapped in her towel.

“I promise to tell you everything that has happened to me in the last few days…”

“Try two weeks.”

“Two weeks. But right now I’m still trying to sort it all out in my mind first before I can explain.”

Ginny narrowed her eyes at her friend. “You promise?”

“As long as you promise not to tell anything I tell you to the boys, I promise. I don’t think they can handle all the details of what is happening right off the bat. They will flip enough just from what I will have to tell them.” Hermione stared intently into Ginny’s eyes. “Trust me, please.”

Hermione sighed as the door to her chamber closed softly behind Ginny. She hated having to put off telling Ginny, but something in her said that now wasn’t the time and that she still needed to know more and that meant having to talk to one errant husband who had distracted her every time she tried to question him more deeply about what had happened. Turning to reach back into the trunk for her clothing, Hermione was surprised to find her trunk closed and hands that didn’t belong to her grasping her wrists and placing her hands firmly on the far edge of her trunk.

“You have a lot to learn ‘Mrs. Malfoy’ in the art of waking one’s husband up in the morning. There are other ways of gaining my attention when I’ve been found lacking in looking after you.” A cultured voice sounded behind and above her.

“How did you get into my bedroom? Looking after me, is that how you put it? Any more looking and I wouldn’t have been able to climb out of bed this morning. Which, by the way, you have a lot of explaining to do.” Hermione tried to straighten back up and turn to face her husband.

“You will stay exactly as you are, my dear, I feel that you need to learn who it is that you now belong to.” Lucius muttered a word as he glided his hands up Hermione’s arms, assuring the fact that she won’t move from her position.

Tracing the line of her shoulder to her collarbone he allowed the towel to pool on the floor at her feet. Then he lowered a hand to her hip to grasp her firmly against his hips so that she could feel the material of his wizard’s robe that he had thrown on after she had left his chambers. Smiling at the irony of him in his teacher’s robe while she a student was at his command. His smile grew at the sound of her gasp. Knowing that she could not turn and see the smile that graced his face. Bending over her back he brushed her hair over one shoulder then nipped and kissed her nape. Whispering into her ear.

“Be glad my dear that I noticed that young Miss Weasley was on her way or she would have came upon us both enjoy your bath, together, as one.”

Lucius nipped her ear lobe. Gliding his hands all over her body. He teased the nipples of each breast then slid them lower over her stomach back to her hips. Lifting one hand he opened his robes so that she could feel every inch of his front pressed boldly to her back.

“I can smell you now, my dear, so I know that you are ready for me. Dripping for me down your thighs, I’ll bet.”

Hermione pressed her knees tightly together.

Lucius chuckled deep in his throat. Placing his knees on the out side of hers he bent at the knees and entered her from behind. Hermione obviously hadn’t realized that in the bent position that he had placed her in caused her to be exposed to him from behind. Plus that the tensing of her muscles made her that much more tighter, thus causing more muscles to feel the sensation of him gliding into her through her wetness. His head fell back on his neck, the tendons straining at the sensations he was experiencing. At the sensations that he could feel her feeling at every thrust that touch a new spot that only this position could reach.

Hermione breathed each shallow breath in time with each thrust. Her eyes clenched tightly as her nails dug into the wood of the trunk. She was so close, so close to reaching that pinnacle that Lucius had introduced to her a couple nights before and several times since then.

Everyone at the Gryphondor table in the Great Hall welcomed Hermione back to good health when she sat down softly on the bench for breakfast. Smiling a hello at Harry and Ron who were seated across the table from her. She caught sight of Draco talking to his father by the Slytherin table. A blush crept up her cheeks, as her husband looked her right in the eye and adjusted his robes at the shoulders of course.

“Are you sure that you are well enough to be up and about Hermione?” Harry asked as he turned around to see what had caught her attention.

“Yeah, you are looking a bit flush still. Are you going to be able to help us with our schoolwork today or not? OUCH! That hurt Genny.” Ron pulled his hand back to make sure that the skin wasn’t broken from the harsh pinch his sister had given the back of it.

“She just got out of her sickbed you dweeb and you are demanding that she help you with catch from your own stupidity. Harry what are you looking at over there?” Genny sat down next to Hermione.

“I just heard that you are to go to Professor Malfoy’s office today. I overheard Dumbledore tell McGonagall that it will be the most likely spot that you won’t be constantly interrupted by fellow students, in order to catch up with your homework. McGonagall said that it was a good thing that you are so intelligent that it won’t take you long to start attending classes even with Professor Malfoy there to look over ‘her shoulder.’ “ Genny handed a platter of sausages to Hermione in order to keep them out of her brother’s reach.

After placing a couple sausages next to her toast, Hermione glanced up in time to see the contents of one Ronald Weasley’s full mouth in mid-chew. Glancing back down at her plate she picked up her dry toast and pushed the plate as far as she could on the laden table. “I think I’ll step outside for a bit of fresh air. I’ll see you at lunch.” With another doubtful look at Ron’s chomping mouth, Hermione rushed out of the Hall, a touch green around the edges.

Up at the head table Lucius half rose from the table in pursuit when Snape placed a hand on his arm. “Now is not the time. Wait a few minutes before going. Dumbledore has arranged that she is to study her work in your office under your supervision due to the fact that the students are in fear of your icy glares.” Snape paused when he finally gained Lucius attention.

“I’ve been thinking Severus.” Lucius said in a hushed tone.

“Really? I didn’t think you would have had the time this past weekend. Must been when you were letting her catch up on her school work that she missed.” Snape drawled.

Raising an eyebrow at his co-conspirator Lucius continued. “We need to make sure that no one knows the real reason behind us jumping sides. We will need to let our first reason stand that we used when at Malfoy Castle. That due to circumstances we had no choice but to help Dumbledore because the Lord is becoming increasingly unstable in his actions. That we would rather live along side those ‘beneath us’ than have to deal with this latest development. We will make it very clear to others that family honor comes first and having someone dictate to us who and how we marry must not be allowed. Some families can have children and pass them off to others but this one will allow no such thing. We have always been a part of all that is taught to our children. Can you honestly say that I allowed anyone else to show Draco the best uses for magic? Dumbledore will believe that family honor is everything to me. And the others will have a more mercenary reason. Plus I have the advantage of being a closer follower of the Lord than you, Snape. The info I can bring forward will be too big a factor to ignore in this war.” Lucius pushed his chair to the side, standing away from the table and in a cold disdainful voice, “Since I must be imposed upon today until further notice by students I have much to do to prepare for class.” Strolling around the table, he walked towards the main doors of the Hall.

Lucius walked into the cool morning sunshine beaming into the courtyard of the castle on his way to the stairs that led to his tower. Pausing at the archway into the next hall he watched as Hermione swallowed the last of her toast while sitting on a stone bench. Hermione bent and retrieved her book bag from the ground, standing she walked past him, through the archway and on up the stairwell. Lucius raised an eyebrow as he saw the young Miss Weasley watching from the far doorway.

“You will appear in my office at lunch.” Raising his eyes at the two figures approaching behind her. “Alone.” Turning he left Genny to the confused looks of her brother and Harry, following the student robes that were disappearing out of sight.

“What the look for?” Ron asked. He was stuffing one last sausage into his full mouth.

Harry was looking around the courtyard for Hermione. “Where did Hermione go? I don’t think she knows that she is to be in Professor Malfoy’s office today. Did you get a chance to see where she went Genny?”
“Why does she have to be in Malfoy’s office anyways? Why can’t she catch up in the library or in McGonagall’s, I bet its quiet in there.”

“Ron that is disgusting. Either chew with your mouth closed or wait till its empty before you open it. I swear one of these days you are going to choke or have all your food fall down your shirt like a baby. Anyways we need to get to class.” Genny turned to walk back into the Hall for her book bag.

Hermione was quickly smoothed her robes back into place as Lucius walked to the door leading from his office into the DADA classroom. She could hear the students gathering for the first subject of the day. Taking a deep breath, Hermione turned away from the open doorway looking at the small desk piled with books and instructions from her teachers. The desk sat in full view of the students in the classroom below.

“Your eyes should be forward reading the instructions on the board.” Lucius quickly brought the first years to order and down to the business of learning.

Amazing enough the instruction that he taught all the classes since the year began had been very useful in the usage of magic. Hermione rolled her eyes’. He teaches like he looks, impeccable. Shaking the thoughts from her head she reached for the book on top of the pile. Arithimancy, just what she needed to get back into the mood of learning. The last couple weeks have been very distracting. However in the world was she going to explain this to her friends? The very fact of her being married to the eldest Malfoy was not going to go over well. It wasn’t going to be easy. There was the feud between the two wizard families and then there was the rivalry between Harry and Draco. She wondered what they had told Dumbledore. She was fairly sure that they wouldn’t be able to hide this behind a curtain from the Headmaster. Nope there just isn’t a way to hide the fact that whenever Malfoy and her were alone in the same room they were going at it like rabbits. Someone was bound to walk in on them sooner or later. Genny will be the easiest to convince. It will appeal to the romantic in hidden in the female mentality. Genny was an intelligent witch with commonsense. Plus to Hermione knowledge there has never been a squib in the Weasley family. Just like the Malfoys. So why have her marry Malfoy. Hermione brow wrinkled at the last thought.

“Because of that fact alone. The Dark Lord seeks to control you and through you Professor Malfoy.” Hermione started at Snape’s low voice.

“How did you know? Wait a sec…”

How did I know what you were thinking? Come now everyone must have his mysteries. Plus by now that very thought should be passing through your brain now that you are not so distracted. The Malfoy family is a very ancient family. A family that is well placed in the wizard community let me put it this way. If we didn’t still have to hide from the humans Malfoy would be a warlord at least. Do you understand me now Miss Granger or shall I now call you Lady Malfoy.” Snape smiled at the prim look that passed over Hermione’s face.

‘Lady Malfoy!’ Why the very thought was staggering in its whole meaning. Hermione stared at Professor Snape.

Professor Snape. Is there something that I can help you with?” Lucius stood in the doorway. Hermione could see a couple students watching in the room below. Their heads cock in order to catch stray words.

“Malfoy, I just want to make sure that ‘Miss Granger’ knew exactly what I expect from her before I considered her caught up with her classmates.” Snape placed a scroll on top of the piled books. “These are the latest instructions for the class she is going to miss today. Read over them carefully the first few paragraphs are especially important to this week’s potion assignment. If you have any questions refer to Professor Malfoy.” With a telling look from the scroll to Malfoy, Snape turned on his heel and stalked away.

Malfoy gave a stern look over his shoulder to the first years below, then stepped into the office. Plucking the scroll out of Hermione hand he quickly read the scroll as he unrolled the parchment. Stopping in mid-roll he picked up a scrap of paper that was tucked in the rolls.

“Bloody hell!” Malfoy muttered low enough that Hermione thought she might have been mistaken.

Hermione could almost see the thoughts racing through his mind. Then his eyes snapped open and looked directly at Hermione. Lucius crumpled the note in his hand and with a thought set it afire, destroying it to mere ashes in seconds.

“Catch up with your classmates as fast as possible. In fact try to get ahead in your studies as much as possible.” Lucius walked back into the classroom leaving Hermione to her confused thoughts and her Arithimancy.

***

The hours flew by for some in the castle and dragged for others not quite prepared in their studies. At lunch Genny walked slowly towards Professor Malfoy’s office, wondering why she had to be there in the first place. She hadn’t broken any rules lately and she was doing well in her DADA class. She stared at Professor Malfoy’s office door willing it to tell her why. As she prepared to knock the door swung open inches from her knuckles. She could see Professor Malfoy at hi desk grading scrolls and Hermione sat at a smaller one off to the side. Then a hand reached around the door to grasp her by the arm and pulled her into the room. Genny turned to see Draco leaning against the now shut door.

“Now is not the time for any of you jokes Draco.” Lucius finished his last mark on the scroll before him before looking up at Genny. “I do believe that you and Miss Granger have much to talk about. If we can get that accomplished before our food arrives it would be much appreciated. I do not want any uninvited guest showing up in the middle of your discussion. People will note tat we are not currently gathering for our noon repast in the Hall.” Lucius pulled a scroll towards him with one hand while the other waved his wand at a chair, pulling the chair up to Hermione’s desk.

Hermione was surprised to find that she had lost all track of time while doing her schoolwork. The office had been quiet with only the murmuring noise of students in the background. Amazing enough she hadn’t even noticed either Malfoy coming into the office together. Interesting that at a moment’s thought she knew exactly where her husband was, yet if someone else was in the room with them it, in a sense, curbed her urge to jump Malfoy’s bones. Hermione could feel a blush creep up her cheeks as her eyes strayed from Genny to the tall blonde man seated at the large desk.

“Umm, Hermione?”

Hermione blush turned beet red as Draco started laughing at Genny throat clearing. Tearing her gaze from the older Malfoy, Hermione scooted her chair closer to Genny. Once she felt that she could speak without stammering she asked calmly, “Why are you here, Malfoy?”

“Why? Why to converse with my esteemed father, of course. Plus I had to make sure that there wasn’t any inappropriate behavior from students with a lone teacher.” Draco smiled at Genny’s dropped jay and Hermione’s narrowed eyes. His father glanced at him for a moment before returning to his grading.

Genny rose from her seat, ready to sock him one.

“Sit down Genny. He is just trying to get a rise out of us. Just remember how much he loves being the center of attention. He probably feeling deprived since Pansy isn’t paying as much attention to him lately.” Hermione pulled Genny back into her chair by her arm.

Hermione leaned towards Genny, she murmured. “Genny why are you here and not eating lunch in the Great Hall?”

With a glance out of the corner of her eyes at the two Malfoys, Genny murmured back. Professor Malfoy told me this morning to be here at lunch, so here I am. Are you going to tell me what is finally going on? Start at the beginning.”

“Well, umm, yeah at the beginning, ok yeah. Well you remember how I was supposed to meet you guys in Hogsmead for Halloween? Well I guess you could say that I had another appointment to be at.” So Hermione quietly told all that she knew. Being kidnapped, then given to Professor Malfoy, being forced to marry with Lord Voldemort and Wormtail as witnesses. Even the ceremony was presided over by Professor Snape. Apparently no one in or out of the inner circle had a clue that this was going to happen. She told Genny about sleeping for over a week then waking up in Malfoy’s bed right here in Hogwarts.

“Does Dumbledore know about this, Hermione? I mean a teacher just can’t marry a student in the middles of the school year. It’s just not done, even if the student if of age. Maybe he knows of a way to get out of this.” Genny asked shocked that it had happened, let alone to her friend Hermione.

Hermione nodded, “I think so, at least I vaguely remember the Headmaster being there after the ceremony. Even McGonagall was there. I really don’t believe that Professor Snape and Malfoy could hide this, not when I slept for at least a week solid. Someone is also bound to notice me jumping Malfoy’s bones sooner or later. I’m sharing his bed don’t forget that. However am I going to explain this to Harry and Ron, I can’t just pop out and say ‘Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that Professor Malfoy and I got married on Halloween and we just can’t seem to stop jumping each other’s bones and doing it like rabbits.’ They’ll have a hard enough time getting past the married part before the bones part gives them a heart attack that kills them.”

“They would give birth to howlers! Maybe if you phrase it right they won’t make the connection as long as they don’t know that you two are sleeping in the same bed. We won’t even mention anything about it to them. What they don’t know won’t hurt them until their sensibilities are ready to accept the idea. When are you going to tell them?” Genny whispered.

“I don’t know. I guess as soon as possible would be best. I mean they’re going to blow eventually, as it is if I’m constantly around Malfoy or coming out of his office. I can’t lie to them, it would hurt their feelings that I would tell you and not them. They like thinking that they are being a part of the solution. I know it’s been less than a day but have they noticed anything yet?” Hermione fiddled with her quill.

“I think Harry is getting suspicious. But Ron hasn’t gotten past the point that you aren’t constantly around them. I think Ron is trying to decide if you were caught doing something without telling them. That’s why you have to be in Malfoy’s office. He knows that you could have been doing schoolwork in the library or in another teacher’s office. Don’t worry about them just yet. Have you any ideas why Lord Voldemort kidnapped you first?”

“Genny I want you to be very careful. I think that I was grabbed because of my scores. That plus how it would affect Harry is why I think I was grabbed.” Hermione turned in her chair.

“Professor Malfoy?”

Draco started snickering. “Professor Malfoy she calls him that just too rich. Ha ha.”

Lucius was lifting a cover off a tray of food that sat on a now clear desk. Draco was already grabbing a plate in preparation to dig in.

“Its time to eat, come and fill your plates before my son eats it all. Ask your question.” Lucius held out a couple plates for them while giving a look at Draco to mind his manners.

“What do you think of the possibilities that Genny will be next on Lord Voldemort’s bride list?” Hermione stood up from her chair.

“Its more than likely that a groom has already been chosen for her from the inner circle. Remember there still are a couple more of us old wizards currently single. You’ll be lucky if you’re given to Professor Snape. Now eat, the food is getting cold.” Lucius looked towards the door. “Our uninvited guest are coming up the stairs now.”

“Move out of my way, Severus. That girl still has to eat sometime during the day. She hardly sat still long enough at breakfast to eat more than a few bites. I will not abide with the idea that she must spend every single moment under…”

Need I remind you that Professor Malfoy has been present at each of his scheduled classes, without Miss Granger at his side like a dust pixie. Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley what are you doing up here? At this time of day you two are stuffing your mouths.” They heard Snape clearly through the solid door.

“We came to visit Hermione, Professor.” Ron said in reply.

“What do you mean by every single moment?” Harry ventured.

Everyone in the office stared at the door, fascinated, everyone still under tutelage that is.

“If we all would take our chairs and finish eating, I will see what the rabble beyond the door want.” After eying everyone to the respective chair, plates in hand, Lucius opened the door to the robed backside belonging to Professor Snape. Who was arguing with Prof McGonagall. Harry and Ron’s heads were moving back and forth following the slightly inane, mysterious conversation that the Professors were in the middle of.

Being the closest to the door, Ron noticed the door opening and through the crack he could see his sister. Genny was seated next to Hermione eating lunch without them. Draco had moved to his father chair where he lounged while eating from his plate.

“What is the meaning of the gathering in the hall like common rabble?” Lucius cut into the raging debate.

Draco smirked at Harry and Ron, saluting them with his half eaten chicken leg. A second later a grape popped against the side of his head. Genny always had a good throwing arm. ‘For a girl that is.’ Ron laughed.

“Professor Malfoy,” Harry started to speak, “we umm came to see Hermione. To see how she is doing that is.”

“As you can see she is still in one piece and is eating her lunch. As should everyone else at this time of day.”

“Why is she in here eating and Genny too? What the bloody hell is going on Genny.” Ron demanded as he tried to enter the office. He stopped in his tracks as Professor Malfoy shifted to block him.

“Mr. Weasley, you will mind your manners!” Teacher to her very core, Professor McGonagall took Ron to task for his imprudent language.

Shooting a look at Snape, Professor Malfoy stepped aside allowing everyone to enter the office. Seeking some form of control in the whole episode, he walked back to his chair, motioning Draco back to his own chair. Sitting down in his chair Professor Malfoy waited for a lull in the lecture young Weasley was receiving.

McGonagall paused to take a deep breath, noticing that she was the center of attention. She turned her head to eye Hermione from the top of her head to the tips of her shoes searching for any sign of neglect or abuse. Not finding anything to complain about to look at Professor Malfoy.

“Professor Malfoy what do you hope to succeed by isolation Miss Granger and Miss Weasley up here on their lunch break. Surely you can control yourselves long enough for a visit to the Great Hall to eat, can you not?”

Lucius lowered the glass that he had been drinking from, placing it on his desk next to his plate. “Control, or my lack of is not what is at issue here. There are two other students here with us sharing in our lunch, whatever could I be doing that would be of such concern? What I wish to know is why you all felt that you had to troop up here and disturb us? The two students have an obvious reason for being here. Their lack of manners make them impatient for the proper time and place.”

“It would have been the proper time and place if all students were down in the Great Hall eating their lunch.” McGonagall responded. “These two boys are a couple of the most polite boys it has been my experience teaching.

Nobody felt the urge to remind Professor McGonagall of the lecture she had just given Ron. Harry, taking advantage of the discussion, quietly moved closer to the girls.

He bent down to whisper in Hermione’s ear. “Give over Hermione. I know something is up and that you seem to be mixed up in the midst of it. What’s going on?”

Hermione quickly weighed her options: 1 Tell Harry about what happened on Halloween, minus a few details. 2 Have Genny tell Harry and run out the door to hide in the girl’s bathroom. No that wouldn’t stop Harry he’s been in the girl’s bathroom. 3 Run for the door leading into Professor Malfoy’s private chambers. Harry would go in there. Even if he tried both Malfoy and Snape would stop him.

At least the hall door was closed, a quick spell would sound proof the room to block the howling from alerting the other students. As Hermione’s eyes darted around the room they landed on her new husband’s body.

‘Well there is always a last option: 4 Jump Malfoy’s bones and left actions speak louder than words. It would be like a band aid it only hurt for a moment if you pulled it off fast.’

As the last thought blazed thru her mind Professor Malfoy straightened suddenly in his chair and turned to stare back at Hermione.

Professor Snape noticed the change in demeanor the Professor was portraying. He quickly realized that more might come out into the open than was absolutely necessary at this time took charge of the situation and cut this luncheon short.

“Miss Weasley, Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley, it is time to go. Classes will be starting in a few minutes and I am sure that you will need to gather your be books from which ever corner that you have tossed them in. This includes you too Mr. Malfoy. Both you and Mr. Potter are expected in my Potions class and I would like you to be as prepared as possible. Isn’t that right Mr. Potter? Professor McGonagall, don’t you have a classroom to prepare? I believe that you have first years next. And as you have said it has been a long time since breakfast for Miss Granger. So we do need to leave her to finish her lunch. Remember she has only been awake for a couple days. It will be a few more days before she’ll be able to practice a more normal schedule, again.” Taking Professor McGonagall by the arm, he ushered the other students out the door before him, slamming it behind him.

The two occupants left in the room stared at each other. Lucius then pushed his chair away from his desk. With a wave of his hand he locked all the doors that did not lead to his private quarters.

“Come here Hermione.” He drawled, spreading his feet so that she could stand between them.

Hermione stood and walked over to him.

“Now unbutton my robe and yours as well while you are at it. Yes, that’s it.”
