Cupid’s Chocolates

Hogsmeade welcomed Hermione with lots of shops, pubs and taverns. Witches and wizards were walking on streets, viewing the shop-windows and admiring the merchandise.

She sat by the window of the carriage and noticed people greeting her with a nod or with a bow. She smiled back and waited anxiously when the coach would stop in front of the café.

Madam Valentine’s Café was a huge building with a cafeteria in front, a great ballroom in the middle, 5 dining rooms in back, and quite a handful of discrete rooms for lovers to eat in peace. On top of the café was a guesthouse with 48 lodging rooms with 5 star ratings. It was a magnificent business all together. Madam Valeria Valentine was determined to call it a café never the less, not wanting to scare customers.

Hermione stepped into a lounge of the cafeteria and was a bit taken aback by the moving frescos on the walls and in the ceiling. There were unicorns, fairies and angels running all over the meadow and sky. The smell of delicious food made her hungry because she had missed her lunch after skipping Potions.

“Welcome to Madam Valentine’s Café,” greeted a hansom wizard wearing a burgundy uniform hinting he was an attendant.

“It’s nice to be here,” replied Hermione and checked his nametag, “Julio.”

“Can I take your cloak?” he asked and helped her slip out of it.

“Thank you. Would you show me to Mr. Malfoy’s table?”

“Of course,” he answered as he sent her cloak to wardrobe with a spell.

Lucius had decided to eat in dining room number 3 – The Rouge Reverence. He wanted all the guests to see his beautiful princess.

He lifted his gaze, as he smelled the distinct perfume of honey and cinnamon. A bright smile came to his lips when Hermione sauntered into view and was guided right to him. Lucius stood up and greeted her kissing her hands. Pairs sitting in other tables were looking the sight in interest and soon the hall was filled with whispers.

“Mione, you look absolutely astonishing,” complimented Lucius and handed her a big bouquet of red roses and white irises. Hermione gasped at the gesture and thanked him as he helped her sit.

“Thank you. And you are as charming as ever,” responded Hermione and took the menu from the attendant. Three waiters came rushing to their table to take orders and gloat over co-workers that they had served a Malfoy and an Ariston. Hermione enjoyed the attention. Just as they had gotten rid of the waiters a pianist started playing the grand piano and a Spanish wizard stepped down the stage and walked singing to them.

Like the sound of silence calling,
I hear your voice and suddenly
I'm falling, lost in a dream.

Hermione giggled and looked at Lucius.

“You paid them to sing my favorite song?” Lucius blushed a bit and nodded shyly.

When you say you love me
The world goes still, so still inside and
When you say you love me
For a moment, there's no one else alive

“Oh, that is just so cute,” told Hermione and reached over the table to caress the back of his hand.

“I did it all for you,” confessed Lucius watching Hermione getting emotional on him. He conjured a vase and put the flowers into water, always looking for her reactions.

Right, the Imperius Curse, muttered Hermione in her head and was relieved when the appetizers came.

You're the one I've always thought of.
I don't know how, but I feel sheltered in your love.
You're where I belong.
And when you're with me if I close my eyes,
There are times I swear I feel like I can fly
For a moment in time.

Lucius was happy to see her relax and heard others awing. He was giving the greatest show ever and was sure to be on the cover of some magazine the next day.

Hermione tried hard not to go soft from the music and started a conversation.

“How was Manchester?”

“It went fine. I finally got my solicitors off my back and even got the time to get you a gift,” he was so deviously charming again as he pulled out a flat box from his robes and handed it to Hermione. At least 24 pairs of eyes were on it and waited to see the contents.

“For me?” she was breathless as she took it and opened the lid. The whole crowd awed again. “You shouldn’t have…”

“When I saw it, I knew it was made for you,” revealed Lucius and helped her to get the golden bracelet out of the box and fasten it around her wrist. It had 12 huge brilliants on it, framed with countless number of small diamonds. It must have cost at least a prize of France to him!

“Wow, it’s just so… Oh…” she tried to say something. Lucius smirked to himself finding her astounded. The next time he would buy a castle to see her speechless.

Hermione was at brink of tears as she rose from her seat and went to embrace Lucius. Her flowing gown was a contrast against his dark green robes made of finest cashmere. People in The Rouge Reverence just couldn’t stop awing, gaping and sniffing in tears.

“That is the most beautiful gift I ever have had,” whispered Hermione and kissed him longingly. His hands came around her and pushed her to sit onto his out-stretched knee. There was no doubt that everybody were cheering for them and the musical duo continued to perform another love song.

As Hermione pulled away with a grin on her red swollen lips, Lucius saw his future queen in all her glory. She was so beautiful in her tamed appearance – all white, pure and innocent. She was dressed like a pride and only an altar was missing from the scene. He was lost in the moment and didn’t notice Madam Valentine approach personally to their table.

“Aw, what an adorable couple you are!” admired Madam Valentine and looked at the young witch sitting in his lap, hands wrapped around his neck and smiling happily.

“Madam Valentine,” acknowledged Lucius and lifted Hermione to place her to the chair next to him. The café was still a public place and he didn’t need the fuss that could come from older prudish citizens of Hogsmeade.

“I welcome you to my café and grant you this modest gift,” told Madam Valentine and placed a big box of Cupid’s Chocolates onto the table. That was a rare gift that Madam made to her special guests and that meant a great recognition from her.

“We are honored,” Lucius was a little breathless and expressed his gratitude. Madam Valentine left them be and went to attend something in the Majestic Ballroom. Hermione was again speechless but curious to get a taste of that legendary treat. The contents of those candies were so valuable because of the very difficult recipe that was a huge secret.

“That is for dessert, honey,” warned Lucius but Hermione looked up to him with those begging puppy-eyes and he just let it go. She tore off the cover and eyed hungrily little pieces tucked neatly into their golden nests. They had all sorts of shapes – hearts, Cupid’s bows, half-moons, crowns, lotuses and cornucopias.

She took one and popped it into her mouth. Rich chocolate melted right on her tongue and as she bite in, the sweet filling ran down her throat leaving a burning sensation of ecstasy. Lucius growled at the sight of her and took some chocolate to himself too.

“You know we are spoiling our appetite,” hummed Hermione delightedly as the next course of meal was brought to table.

“I don’t think I could ever spoil it,” purred Lucius and took her hand to kiss it affectionately. Hermione blushed when people around still had their eyes fixed on them.

They ate peacefully, talking about everything and nothing important and just enjoying each other’s closeness. They devoured together the whole box of chocolates and felt more liberated then before.

Hermione picked up the cover and looked at the winking Cupid snickering back at her. On the front of the lid was written in gold: The greatest gift is to love and be loved.

“My lady, could I have this honor and have a dance with you?” asked Lucius after finishing dessert and offering Hermione his hand. She smiled brightly and placed hers into his palm.

“But of course, my lord,” sighed Hermione gladly and rose from the table to follow Lucius to the rosarium. The café’s south wing was completely made of glass and full of roses from all over the world. In the middle of the garden was a spacious dance floor with a string orchestra. Already were pairs swinging in the music and gliding over white marble.

Roses smelled intoxicatingly and created a pink cloud in Hermione’s mind. She was like dancing in the sky as Lucius twirled with her in a slow waltz. She never felt her feet touch the ground as long as he held her and guided her. Everything was in a haze and only feelings were left. Lucius’ hard chest against her, soft hands sliding over her back as he arched her into a low dip. He was all that existed in that moment and she felt an incredible need to be near him, hear his voice and be one with him.

“I love you,” whispered Lucius into her ear and pulled her up from the dip. Suddenly everything was clear again and doubting fear crept back.

“You don’t know that for sure,” murmured Hermione, “The Imperius makes you say those things.” She was frightened that he would go crazy and murder her. Lucius just chuckled, cupped her chin and lifted it to make her look at him.

“My grandfather trained me to fight with Imperius. So it’s impossible that someone has placed me under that curse,” reassured Lucius and saw her temptation in those big coffee brown eyes.

“And what about Cupid’s Potion in chocolates?” She was still hesitating in his words and in her own feelings. Lucius smiled at her and went on with the dance while proving the real deal.

“It only liberates the feelings that already exist, inspires them but not creates them or forces them upon. My love is sincere, Hermione,” murmured Lucius in a humble tone and looked at astonished brunette. She tried to take in his words, examine them and come up with a solution. Her head was a mess of mild love potion and scent of roses.

“I think I’m in love with you,” she summed up her affection to Lucius that made him gasp of bliss. He leaned down and captured her lips into tender kiss.

Madam Valentine’s Café was a place to fall in love over and over again. Maybe it was the romantic atmosphere or just the food that made you crave for more. Something certainly was in the air that summoned love and passion.

Walking up the stairs, Lucius swept Hermione from her feet and carried her the King’s Suit. Stepping over the doorway, he glanced at his giggling witch in white and grinned widely. She was excited and aroused and her patience was running out. Reaching up, she entwined her arms around his neck and took a long and lingering lick over his lips.

“Tease,” smirked Lucius and crashed his mouth down on hers, sweeping his tongue between her parted lips and kissed her with a needing passion.

She groaned into his mouth as he carried her towards a huge four-posted bed. Her hands untied his long hair as she ran scraping fingernails over his scalp making him moan. Releasing her lips with panting regret, he laid her down onto satin sheets. Without letting go, Hermione pulled him down on her, making her intentions very visible.

“Greedy little thing, aren’t you?” noted Lucius with amusement.

“You have no idea!” laughed Hermione, “What is mine is mine,” she declared and pulled her wand out her sleeve and pointed at his fashionable robes. Lucius cocked an eyebrow in admiration as Hermione thrust her hands past his unfastened clothes and touched the bare skin. She wanted to peel him naked bit by bit but first she needed feel him.

Lucius bent down and licked her jaw-line moving under throat and kissing her neck, feeling it vibrate as she purred in pleasure. In that time she had managed to discard his robes and was busy racking her nails over his wide shoulder to get off the silky black shirt. She herself was still fully clothed but as Lucius trailed down to her cleavage, he rolled them around, pulling dazed Hermione straddling him.

“Oh, letting a woman have the control?” leered Hermione and looked down on half naked Lucius. He was breathing hard, a raw desire in his silvery eyes, scratch marks visible on his pale skin and very evident proof of his arousal pressing her inner thigh, making her all hot and wet. Like a sinful angel he looked with his blond hair scattered over crimson pillows, creating a halo around him.

“Only you,” murmured Lucius huskily and draw his hands up to her thighs, over hips and around her butt pulling her closer to him. Reaching up, he kissed her thoroughly while undoing few buttons behind her back. She gasped at the feel of his hands coming to contact with her burning skin.

“As lovely as it is on you, it must come off,” drawled Lucius and tore the gown over her head. Finally freed from restrains, Hermione pushed him down into mattress and kissed her way down over his neck to his chest, biting lightly his taunt nipple, drawing a sharp intake from Lucius.

Smirking to herself, she went lower kissing and nibbling here and there making sure to remember all the spots that made him squirm in anticipation. She reached to the belt buckle, undid it, and unzipped his pants. She was so close to her most wanted prize but Lucius pulled her up again and pinned her securely under him.

“If you keep doing that I don’t think I can last that long. You are killing me,” purred Lucius and took some needed gulps of air. Hermione just smiled wickedly and wrapped her legs around his hips.

“And what do you think you are doing to me?” mocked Hermione and was punished as Lucius ripped off her bra and clutched his mouth onto her breasts. Moaning and writhing, she was only able to beg for more. Lucius took his time devouring her a live and driving her over the edge.

She came with a soft cry but he hadn’t really started with her. He liked her sensitivity when his every touch sent electrical jolts running over her body causing her to come tripping wet.

“Please,” moaned Hermione and arched her tingling body into him, needing him like nothing else on the world. He gave mercy on her and on him also by getting rid of final clothes and saving a moment to rub himself against her wetness. He looked at his witch and saw endless yearning in her eyes.

“I love you,” he said with so many emotions flickering over his hansom face that his words and penetration made her cry out. She felt so hot and tight around him as he tried to control his raging desire to take her hard. Her breath came in short pants and gasps as he rocked inside her. Her hard nipples rasped lusciously against his chest as their bodies moved as one. She pushed her head into the pillow and arched her back, baring her soft neck to him. A predatory grin appeared to his face and she moaned even louder at the sight of him. He launched at her and sucked hard her delicate skin at the side of her neck.

Lucius felt her tightening around him, knowing she was close, and just at the moment she peaked; he sank his teeth into her neck leaving his mark on her. She screamed out his name in release.

He pulled back, licking soothingly his bite mark and thrust hard into her once more and finally succumbed to his own release, crying out her name, “Hermione…”
