A Not So Happy Christamas
Disclaimer: Jo's not mine!
Citten: Wait is over.
pinkwands: No, he's not, I feel I can't say more...
SorceressFujin: I hope this one is just as yummy, in it's own way.
PhantomRose: Yep she sure does.
cat: The art of good storytelling (to me) is to give little side plots, and Remus had to understand Severus somehow... to me it has EVERYTHING to do with the plot, this isn't a forum, you can hardly go 'off topic' in a story,(suggest you read John Le Carre, and Charles Dickens if you haven't already.) In GoF Hermione had an ENITRE subplot to herself, and yet nobody complained. To be perfectly honest if you can't put your feelings in literature, then where can you put it? I suffer from asthma, and I never knew one of my grandparents because he smoked his way to death.
A Not So Happy Christmas
Remus and Tonks decided to tell Molly and Arthur straight away, as they felt duty bound to, and then they were going to inform Professor McGonnagal. Remus was also going to give Harry a severe lecture on when to be noble, and when not to be. He gazed at the Burrow and then flicked his eyes to his beautiful wife. She looked up at him, and then she smiled, it was her smile that gave him that extra bit of courage he had to have in order to tell the Weasleys what had happened to Hermione, and how he felt partly responsible. He also had to tell them the truth and show them the Mark.
“Remus! Dora!” Molly squealed, as she almost simultaneously opened the door, and flung her arms around the two unexpected guests. “We were hoping you’d turn up.”
“This isn’t the best ‘turn up’ I am afraid,” Remus said in a subdued voice. “It’s about Hermione.”
Molly’s eyes went a little bit hard at the name of that scarlet woman. The way she had trifled with Ron was as close to an unforgivable as Hermione could get.
“You wouldn’t look like that if you knew, Molly,” Dora said. “I know what she has done, but please let us explain.”
“And why can’t she?” Molly asked, her tone matching the hardness of her eyes. Remus sighed. Her motherly nature would soon take over.
“You’ll find out if you let us in,” Dora said. She walked in the house, and zoomed straight to the sofa, as Remus walked in with a slow, rather dejected step.
“Remus,” Harry greeted. “I am so glad you’re here, I wanted you to see me present my Christmas gift to Ginny.”
Remus looked at Harry and smiled. He decided to let them have their moment of fun before he told them all the bad news he had stored up in his brain. Harry picked Ginny up by her hand, and she followed.
“What are you doing?” Bill asked.
“Ginny, I have spoken with your father, and he has his reservations, but I know in my heart that this is right, and I know what I said at Professor Dumbledore’s funeral, but I realise I was a fool,” Harry paused to breathe, and she looked down on the floor, blushing. “I love you Ginevra Molly Weasley, and I Harry James Potter wish to pledge my heart and soul to you, forever.” He got down on his knees to a lot of jeering, and catcalls from her brothers. “Ginny, will you marry me?”
He brought out a box hidden within his robes.
“Harry,” Ginny faltered. Harry’s heart was beating so fast, and he felt his stomach plummet. He winced, here it would come, the refusal. “I would love to marry you when I am old enough.”
“We’ll have words Arthur Weasley,” Molly whispered in a severe tone to her husband, who coughed and started to take an avid interest in his feet.
Harry immediately got up, and picked Ginny up by her waist and swung her around the room, he then slipped the ring on her finger and Ginny laughed and cried at the same time.
“I can’t believe it, I must be the luckiest Wizard alive!” He exclaimed. “I love you, love you, and did I mention that I love you!”
Ginny continued her giggling, and then when she had enough breath to talk she said.
“I love you too, Harry,” she said. “You are the sweetest boy in the world.”
Harry then kissed her, and he held her close to his body.
“Not even Voldemort could ruin my mood now,” he said.
“Are you sure about that?” Remus asked. He was happy for Harry, and his heart was jumping, as he thought of how much like James and Lily they were. Well, perhaps not exactly, but similar enough.
“What do you mean?” Harry asked, a frown replaced his smile.
“Harry, there is something that I have to tell you,” Remus began solemnly. “It’s to do with Hermione.”
“What has that bastard done to Hermione?” Harry asked, as he sat down, he pulled Ginny onto his lip.
Remus sighed, and then he unrolled his sleeve, and everyone saw the Mark burning black on his skin. Harry narrowed his eyes and then put Ginny on the sofa, and then he got up, he walked over to Remus pointing his wand at what he thought to be a friend.
“Get out!” He said in a cold tone. “Get out! Now!”
“No, Harry, you don’t understand,” Dora said. “You see, that is what I thought when I first saw the Mark, but he isn’t. He received that eighteen years ago. He did it under Albus orders, along with Severus.”
“What the bloody hell has Snape got to do with it?” Harry asked, he was shaking and was on the point of anger and rage.
“A lot, Harry, you see I knew Severus had to kill Dumbledore, but I had to act surprised. I know a bit more about Severus through this than most people. And he needs you, Harry. Somehow, he see’s you as his son that made a wrong decision.”
“I thought we were supposed to be talking about Hermione and Voldemort?” Harry pointed out tersely.
“Yes, well, Voldemort had ordered single Death Eaters to get married and have kids, and married couples with no children to have children.”
“And he’s asked Snape to marry Hermione,” Harry said.
“No, I believe Severus would have petitioned for Hermione, just to keep her safe, but someone else had already petitioned for her hand.”
“Who?” Ron and Molly asked at the same time.
“Lord Voldemort wishes to set the example himself in that area and he has picked Hermione to be his bride.”
“WHAT!” Ron yelled. “I thought she had dumped me for Blaise Zabini.”
“Hermione didn’t dump you for anyone, Ron,” Ginny said, “how many times do we have to go through this? She dumped you because she was uncertain for her feelings for you. Blaise might not have helped matters much I admit.”
“Blaise?” Remus asked. “What makes you lot think that she likes Blaise?”
“She danced with him rather a lot at the Yuletide Ball,” Harry said, “and then she blurted the whole story out to me, saying that she had been two timing Ron with Blaise.”
“You have been best friends with Hermione for how long, Harry?” Remus asked. “And you think that she’s the type to two time?”
Harry hung his head low.
“That’s what she said,” he mumbled.
“She wasn’t two timing Ron with anyone, deliberately anyway,” Remus said. “Look, Severus got fed up with sneaking into the store cupboards, and he needed help. So, he enlisted the help of Hermione, only he trapped her in there, and he got rather, well, frisky, shall we say.”
“What did he do?” Ginny asked.
“That love bite that you lot have been writing about,” Remus said. “He gave that to her, and she couldn’t resist him. Believe it or not, most women do find him irresistible once he decides to be charming.”
Dora, Ginny, and Fleur snorted with that comment. Molly, however, did not.
“He did charm me once,” Molly mumbled. “He can charm when he wants, and so he decided to charm Hermione away from my boy, no wonder she did what she did.”
“Mum!” Ron said, as his face scrunched up in disgust.
“It’s true,” Molly said. “He has a voice that sends shivers down the spine, he might have given Hermione no choice.”
“He didn’t,” Remus said. “But, as she has marked him since, and he didn’t seem to mind, I suppose neither did she, really.”
“Anyway aren’t we all getting off the point, here? Hermione happens to be in danger. She is going to be forced to marry Lord Bloody Voldemort, and if she doesn’t she gets killed. It’s either him, or Snape, and right this moment in time, I prefer Snape!” Dora exclaimed. “I love Hermione, if I had a sister I’d want her to be like Hermione. If you lot aren’t going to do anything to help rescue her then I will!”
Ginny bit the bottom of her lip and then she stood up.
“I am going to help to,” Ginny said.
“Oh no, you’re not!” Harry exclaimed.
“Shut up, this is almost the twenty first century, deal with it, Harry.”
“Us too,” the twins stood up. “We can’t stand by and let one of our family be tortured. Hermione belongs to us, despite her taste in men.”
“But how?” Ron asked. “How can we help her?”
“Nymphadora has a unique gift,” said an intruder. They all turned around.
“How did you get in?” Arthur asked.
Snape rolled his eyes. “Easy, I went to see Remus, but he was walking out of his door with his wife, and I followed them, I then put a disillusionment charm on me and walked in without no one seeing me,” he walked up to Ginny. “Congratulations, I suppose I better get used to calling you Mrs Potter?”
Despite herself Ginny blushed, and then she looked up and gazed deeply into his eyes. Oh, she thought, now she understood. Hmm, poor Hermione!
“What were you doing with my girlfriend?” Ron asked him, trying to keep his anger under control.
“Knocking some sense into her, that’s what,” Severus replied. “I have been watching the two of you over the years, and knew that the both of you would end up in a relationship. I have been keeping an eye on that relationship. She admitted to me that she was thinking of breaking up with you before I turned up. If I might make a suggestion, I think that you’d be far better off with Miss Lovegood. That poor deluded girl seems to think the world revolves around you.”
“I think you’ve said enough,” Remus said. “What is your plan, Severus?”
“Nymphadora,” Severus said, ignoring Remus completely. “Am I right in thinking you can change to another persons appearance without the use of Polyjuice Potion?”
“You should hear some of the women Remus likes me to become,” Dora snapped. Remus coughed awkwardly as Severus quirked an eyebrow up at him… now Remus understood what it must be like to have been a student under his tutelage.
“Good,” Severus said. “Now, please change into Hermione for me, now.”
“I don’t like the sound of this plan,” Remus mumbled.
“I said I’d do anything, Remus, so please let me!”
Dora got up and thought about how Hermione looked, and then she transformed at will. She changed her festive green hair to the long bushy brown that was Hermione; she then changed her green eyes to brown, and added the few freckles that adorned Hermione’s nose, and cheeks. She changed her body too. Once transformed she looked up at Severus, and was quite surprised by the look of lust in the other mans eyes.
“I-I take it that I have done everything correctly?” she stammered.
“Can you give yourself a love bite covering the left side of your neck?” Severus asked. He flickered a nervous gaze to Remus as he asked this.
“That’s a bit difficult, even meta’s have to be bitten for them to appear,” she replied, she too gave a look to Remus.
“Hmm, perhaps this won’t work after all,” Severus said. “He’s bound to have noticed the mark I left on her, and he’ll look for it.”
“If you feel this would help Hermione, then like I said, I don’t mind,” Tonks said, although her rather querulous tone belied her statement.
“Remus?” Severus asked.
Remus looked at Severus and saw that Severus thought this wrong. He was, after all, marked as Hermione’s.
“Oh for Merlins’ Sake!” Tonks exclaimed, she grabbed Severus by the hand and then dragged him out in the hallway. “Do you want to do this right or not?”
Severus closed his eyes and prayed to whomever was listening that he might one day be able to forgive himself for this. He then imagined this really was Hermione and he tilted Dora’s chin up, and started sucking her neck, on the left side. Dora moaned, gods he knew how to tease and please. He placed his hands on her hips, and keeping his imagination on the real Hermione, he bit her neck! Dora screamed. He then continued sucking the spot where he bit, and bit again.
“You are a very noble man,” Arthur said to Remus, “I wouldn’t let anyone near my Molly, not for anything!”
Remus heard Dora’s faint moans and screams. He then turned to Arthur, and he smiled.
“I trust them, strangely enough. I happen to know Severus is thinking he’s with Hermione, and that Dora is thinking of me.”
When Severus felt as if he had given her sufficient amount of bites and sucks, he stepped back and examined his handy work. He stroked her face and then he hugged her.
“Remus is one lucky Werewolf,” he whispered in her ear. “We have to go as soon as we possibly can though.”
“One question before we go, Severus. Or maybe two,” Dora panted. “D-did you think of Hermione or me?”
“Hermione,” Severus answered. “But if I have to be honest with myself, you’re not so bad yourself. Your rather cute as your true self.”
Dora’s heart was melting. Remus said cute all the time, but Severus gave it that extra octave of sexiness… oh gods, no, she would never betray her Werewolf.
“I will not betray Remus!” She said stubbornly.
“I’d think less of you if you did,” Severus said, breaking away from her, and releasing her. “You are quite pretty though. But I love Hermione, and I know she loves me.”
Dora sighed and looked in his eyes as he said Hermione’s name. He was not lying, he was telling the absolute truth. He did love Hermione, probably more than anything else in his entire life.
“I would have to say Hermione is a rather lucky young Witch, and 57/58 is a good year for Wizards.”
Severus smirked, and then he took her hand and kissed the back of it.
“I better get you back to Remus,” he said. Dora giggled.
They walked back in the living room, and the whole room stared at them. She looked happy, and she skipped over to Remus, who then took her in his arms. He looked at the bite that Severus had given Dora and scowled at the other man.
“Is this what you did to Hermione?” Remus asked.
“Yes,” Severus said without any regret or shame in his voice. “I don’t mind her, and you should see what she did to me,” he took off his scarf and then undone the buttons on his shirt, and showed the right side of his neck. “She’s got sharp teeth that girl. She marked me because your Aunt, Bellatrix, came round my house offering her services to me. I, of course, refused. Hermione was in my house, and she overheard everything. I concealed a cat, and revealed a lioness, Bellatrix made her so jealous, she marked me as hers!”
“Good for her,” Ginny muttered. “Got a taste of your own medicine.”
“I loved it Miss Wea – no it’s not is it – it’s Mrs Potter,” Snape sneered.
Ginny was fuming at the dark haired man. Dora looked back at Severus.
“When do you wish to play?” she asked.
“Sooner the better, he’s taken away a lot of things from me, but I won’t let him take my woman!”
Molly had kept quiet throughout all of this, as if deciding whether or not she should forgive Hermione, she had seen the look in Dora’s eyes when she bounced back in the room. Severus, Molly admitted, has ‘it’.
“You two better bring her back here then,” Molly said. She gave a sharp look at Ron, “and you will just have to be polite to her, Ronald Weasley, and accept her choice.”
Harry then strode up to Snape and pointed his wand at Snape’s heart.
“If you try anything with my fiancée then I will show you exactly why the Dark Lord is afraid of me.”
“Don’t make the mistake of thinking I am, boy, to me you’re just an arrogant nitwit,” his eyes flickered over to Ginny, “a very lucky arrogant nitwit.”
Dora then kissed Remus goodbye.
“Wait here, darling,” she murmured.
“I will,” he growled back.
“Right,” Dora said, “I think that it’s about time we start to play, Snape!”
Hermione awoke lonely and in a bed too big even for Hagrid. Her body ached, and she looked around her. She shivered from the cold and drew her covers tightly about her. She tucked her hand under the pillow. It was still dark. Perhaps, she thought, perhaps I can creep quietly down the stairs out the door, and somewhere safe to apparate from, and go back to Severus where I know I belong. She thought of Severus, and realised that he could not possibly have planned this. He had been too possessive for one thing.
She found she did not mind being possessed. She loved being possessed by him, and if she had to admit it, he was damn hot! Just the thought of those dark, obsidian black eyes looking at her full of lust were enough to make her body react. Violently!
She cursed as she felt her knickers get wet with the thought of that silken voice murmur her name after one of their trysts in the store cupboard. What had prevented him from taking her properly when he had the chance at the school? Then she realised, he did give her an opportunity, but she refused. She was indeed a silly girl.
She turned on her other side, and was facing a wall of velour dark black curtains. She shivered again, and smiled at the thought of Severus Snape, she really wanted to have passionate sex with him, when he offered in his house, but she was too afraid to. She was afraid of the fact that he’d judge her because she was a virgin. She wandered her hands up and down her body, thinking all the time, of him. She was about to stroke her breast when a house elf popped into her room.
“Master wishes to see you, now your Ladyship,” the house elf bowed. “He say’s you needn’t worry about your apparel.”
“What time is it?” Hermione asked.
“Nine o’clock in the morning, your Ladyship. Master wishes to discuss things with you.”
Hermione groaned. She tumbled out of bed, literally, and then got up and righted herself. She winced with every step. She picked up a thin bed sheet and wrapped it around her body. She didn’t trust her dressmaking skills enough to transfigure the sheet into a robe. Not right now, anyway.
“Where is he?” Hermione asked.
“He’s in the Library,” answered the house elf.
Hermione sighed. She walked out of her bedroom, and down the portrait gallery, and then down the stairs, and to the library. She was cussing with every step she had to take to get to her ‘fiancé.’ She took a deep breath and then knocked on the door. She waited a few minutes and then he said come in.
“You know my dear you don’t need to knock,” he said. “This will be your home as much as mine.”
“Thank you, I will bear that in mind, Marvolo,” she said.
He smirked, and glided up to her, keeping his gaze on her.
“My, you are pretty. I think we ought to get married soon. How does this evening sound? I really can’t wait to introduce you to my friends, as my wife.”
“But – isn’t this a bit, well, sudden?” Hermione asked.
“I can’t wait much longer, Hermione. So, this evening then. I take it you’re hungry?”
Hermione nodded. He clicked his fingers and the same house elf appeared.
“Dinky, please administer my fiancée a breakfast. Porridge I think,” he said.
“With honey, not sugar,” Hermione said. She hated sounding like that, but she had to.
“I suppose you’ll be wondering about your apparel. Never mind, I have already called Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy over to attend to that. They know the best places for this sort of thing.”
Hermione smiled weakly. She tried to keep her mind focussed on something else other than escape.
“Marvolo,” she began hesitantly. “Can you – I mean – are we to have children?”
He placed his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. He bent down and murmured in her ear.
“Of course, why do you think I picked a young woman?”
Hermione gulped. She did not think he could reproduce, but he had just dashed that hope from her. She was meant to have his child. She was to continue the line of Salazar Slytherin.

A/N There I've written a scene with Tonks/Snape, not my favourite ship as I adore her with Lupin.
