Harry sneaked into the Hospital Wing with Ron and spotted instantly Ginny’s bright red hair under one bed. Next to her was supposedly Carmen. Madam Pomfrey was attending Hermione who wanted something for the nightmares.
“This should help, dear,” said Madam Pomfrey and pulled out a pouch of white powder and dusted it a bit into Hermione’s goblet. Harry moved a little closer.
“Were we too late?” asked Ron quietly.
“I hope not.”
Madam Pomfrey left. Harry waited when Hermione fell asleep and then threw off his cloak. Ginny yelped when she saw Harry and tugged Carmen who was crawling out.
“Camme,” hissed Ginny.
“Not now,” growled Carmen and pointed her wand towards sleeping Hermione. Ron watched in terror, as his girlfriend was getting ready to strike.
“Expelliarmus!” Carmen’s wand flew off her hand and landed on the floor few yards away.
“Harry?!” squealed Carmen in surprise and started to think an excuse for being there. “Hi, what are you doing here?”
“Stopping you from doing stupid things,” said Harry and stepped next to Carmen and seized her hand, pulling her away from the bed. Ginny looked at Harry and then her brother and went all red.
“But I wasn’t going to…”
“This has gone far enough, Camme,” said Harry and dragged her to Ron who looked at her in disgust.
“But I…”
“And you, Ginny,” said Harry turning to his beloved girlfriend, “I can’t believe that you actually went along with this madness.”
“Harry, I can explain!”
“I don’t wanna hear it.”

Few days later Hermione was released from the Hospital Wing. Her hand was fixed again. Fingers were all grown back and the skin was beautifully pale but had problems with the sensitivity. Her new fingers were lightly numb but Madam Pomfrey had assured it was only temporarily.
Entering the Great Hall, she noticed several looks cast towards her but she figured it was only because Slytherin gang was following her around. Draco had ordered she’d be watched all the time to avoid accidents.
Hermione walked to Slytherin table and sat down next to Pansy and Millicent. Draco and Blaise sat across her and the bodyguard squad found seats all around her.
“This is insane. I don’t need protection,” said Hermione over the table to Draco.
“You can never be too careful,” told Draco smugly, “And besides, Potter himself warned me that you are in constant danger.”
Hermione stared at him and then turned to look at Blaise who only nodded.
“So, who is trying to kill me?” she asked.
“Oh, I bet it’s that little Mudblood,” said Pansy and looked over the Great Hall and spotted Carmen sitting alone and reading a newspaper. Hermione followed her gaze and glared at Carmen.
“Yeah, she once even succeeded,” muttered Hermione.
“I think you should tell Professor Snape about this,” said Millicent and stole Hermione’s muffin.
“Snape? No, I wont!”
“Why not? You are his favorite student and all,” asked Pansy.
“Because… er… Well, um, he doesn’t have to know. That’s all,” told Hermione and started eating with earnest. For some time no one said a word until a very late owl flew in and landed in Vincent’s pudding.
“Blasted bird,” growled the big titan and yanked the owl out of his dessert. “Hey, Mione, it’s for you,” he said after sorting out the bird and tossing an envelope to Hermione.
“Oh, thanks,” she muttered and picked it up. It was dripping chocolate pudding. “Yuck!”
“What’s it say?” asked Pansy curiously. Hermione ripped it open and pulled out a letter with a golden card.
“My mom is having a party and wants me to be there,” said Hermione after reading the letter over three lines.
“Oh, but that’s fantastic!” squealed Pansy, “I’m gonna help you with your dress and all. You know what a wreck you are when it comes to dress ups.”
“Yeah, such a wreck,” sighed Hermione and looked at the written invitation on a golden paper. The equinox with Easter holiday was something she would have loved but since she knew her mother was trying to smooth the relationship between her and Lucius, turned it into a torture. Looking at the invitation, she noticed that she could bring a date.
“Boys, are you interested in going to a party?” she asked from Blaise and Draco. Both of them were stunned.

A carriage stopped in front of the Ariston mansion and a house-elf opened the door for the young heirs. Blaise stepped out and held his hand out for Hermione. She was wearing blood red gown with golden accessories. Blaise was in deep blue dress robe while Draco was in his favorite dark green dress robe. They were perfect as they walked side by side up the stairs. Hermione handed her invitation to a house-elf and entered the big doors with her dates. Her arrival was announced to everyone in the huge Ball Room where almost everyone turned to look at her.
“Guess we shocked them quite good,” murmured Blaise and looked at older witches and wizards starting to whisper.
“Cuz no one knew about us,” said Hermione who was between the two of them and tried to look bold and daring. That had been her idea and she wasn’t going to back down.
“Oh, they’ll get over it. It’s not that rare,” said Draco and grinned. He was having a blast. Finally he got the chance to show the world he was with Hermione. And with Blaise…
Alya Ariston stepped out of the crowd and went to greet her daughter. Her husband was talking to Lucius over a glass of champagne.
“Oh, hello, darling!” greeted Alya with a wide smile and hugged Hermione, “So good to see you,” she went on and kissed her on both cheeks and finally looked at Blaise and Draco. “And what fine men you have brought. You know, some girls are just dying to meet you two!”
Draco hide his shock behind a patented grin knowing very well that Alya only wanted to get rid of them and steal Hermione. Blaise kept up the cool act and smiled sweetly, looking at the bunch of young witches giggling and waving at them.
“I hope you don’t mind if I steal Mione for a second?” she asked and without permission she dragged her away from them.
“So?” asked Blaise, “Lets meet some girls?” Draco glared at him but when the bunch of giggling doll-faced girls rounded them up, he was game.
“Mom, why are you…”
“Hush, baby,” said her mother sweetly and guided her through the guests to a balcony and told her to wait there.
“What?!”
Minutes passed. Hermione was starting to calm down when someone stepped next to her.
“You have been avoiding me,” murmured Lucius and looked at the magnificent garden coming to life. Hermione didn’t look at him.
“With a good reason,” she said quietly and wanted to get out of there.
“Mione, love, I’m sorry,” apologized Lucius, “I love you more than anything in the world. I never wanted to hurt you.”
“Forget it,” said Hermione, “Move on.”
“Just like you have? I doubt that,” he whispered and touched her shoulder, making her flinch. She was about to move away from him when Lucius turned her around and made her look inside the Ball Room.
“Look at them, darling,” he purred, “Do they look like they love you for real like me?” asked Lucius and pointed out that Draco and Blaise were having fun with other girls. Hermione wanted to run.
“Look at my son. His face is slightly flushed and not from embarrassment, oh no, he’s aroused. He likes the attention of beautiful ladies,” purred Lucius and stood behind her, holding her against him. She wanted to yell that he was wrong but something held her back.
“And look at Zabini, how charming he is when flirting. But look at his eyes. Dark from passion. Yes, he wants that blond witch, I can tell,” whispered Lucius into her ear and pressed his face against her exposed neck. Hermione kept looking at Draco and Blaise. Did Lucius tell the truth? But what was the truth? Listening the band playing, a song crept into her head.
What if we could?
Where would we go?
If it felt right
I can’t trust no one, not even myself. Lucius kissed her neck and bite down a bit. The pain was familiar. Malfoy’s trademark.
Would you want me to know?
I would meet you
Would you meet me?
Hermione closed her eyes and saw flashes of her life before her eyes. It only reminded her that this wasn’t her life at all. She was just a hitchhiker, taking over bodies. Nothing was hers. But yet she wanted everything. Lucius? Blaise? Draco?
It's like a last chance
For a first dance
You're a sunrise
Can't somehow exist
I would meet you
Would you meet me?
None of them had belonged to her. Not even Snape. Opening her eyes again, she said quietly: “My name is Legion, because we are many.”
I'm glad to say that we've met
But I'm sad to say that the circumstances weren't
On our side
Hermione turned around and looked at Lucius.
“It was a mistake,” she whispered and stepped away from him. Lucius watched her go and sighed. He wanted to run after her but didn’t want to cause any scene. Hermione moved through the guests and went straight for the exit. Blaise noticed her leave and extracted himself from the horde of girls, pulling Draco with him.
“What happened?” asked Draco when Blaise was following Hermione.
“I don’t know but she ran off,” said Blaise when getting out of the Ball Room. He got a glimpse of her scarlet dress when she slipped out of the front door.
“She what?”
Reaching the door, they saw her rushing towards the carriages.
“Mione! Wait!” yelled Draco and ran after with Blaise in his tail. Hermione didn’t slow down but running in her dress was difficult. Soon Draco caught her and pushed her against one carriage in the courtyard.
“What just happened? Why you ran?” asked Draco, trying not to sound angry. Blaise stepped next to her. The pale moon made his incredibly blue eyes sparkle like diamonds. Incubus.
“I… uh, this… I can’t go on like this anymore. All the secrets and hiding… This isn’t even my life!” said Hermione while shaking her head.
“What are you talking about, darling?” asked Blaise. Hermione looked at them and saw the resemblance. One light and one dark. She had the chance to choose one couple from two pairs. Was it going to be Lucius and Snape or Draco and Blaise? Both choices scared her. She wasn’t ready for that.
“Make me an honest woman!” she said suddenly and even she was surprised of what she had said. Draco stared her blankly while a smirk spread across Blaise’s handsome face.
“An honest woman, eh?” leered Blaise and reached out to touch her face. Hermione shivered.

Hedwig landed on a branch in the courtyard and looked around. Harry had told her to deliver a letter to Hermione Ariston. She had heard from a postal owl that Aristons were having a big party and she was invited. Doing a ground sweep in Hogwarts, she had found the young Ariston was no longer present there and so she had flown to Aristons mansion.
Hooting happily, she let her sharp eyes skim the area. She saw guests behind big glass windows having a good time but she wasn’t there. Perhaps in some other room? Hedwig took off and soared higher into the chilly night. The sounds coming from the mansion were muffed but joyous. Another sound caught her attention when she was circling the mansion to find a glimpse of Hermione from one of the windows.
Hedwig turned swiftly around and followed the sounds coming from the far end of the courtyard. From the maze of carriages, she found what she was looking for. Hermione Ariston. The snowy white owl landed on top of the canopy and hooted softly but was hesitant to knock on the window. The carriage moved from side to side but Hedwig held onto it with her sharp talons.
“Aaaahhh!” moaned Hermione and pulled Blaise down to kiss him, to show him how much he meant to her. Draco didn’t let that bother him and sank his teeth into her shoulder when he came.
A tangle of cries and moans erupted from inside the carriage and Hedwig thought best to wait a little while more to give some time for the humans. Finally the carriage stopped moving so fervidly and the sounds died out eventually. Shaking her feathers and getting herself fixed up, Hedwig flew behind the small window and tapped on the glass.
“Oh, an owl,” mumbled Blaise and curled around Hermione in their makeshift bed.
“What is it now?” growled Draco when Hermione was tangling herself free from their grasp. “Oh, Merlin. She’s wiggling her ass again. Jeez, I can’t take this anymore.”
“Come back here,” laughed Blaise and pulled Hermione away from the window and from the owl. “Drakie wants more.”
“Guys, this might be important!” yelped Hermione when two sets of hands crabbed her.
“Not as important as this,” said Draco and kissed her fiercely, sliding his hardened cock home again.
“Definitely,” agreed Blaise.
