Author's Notes
There are a few things that do not jibe with canon, so I thought I\'d list them here and save you the effort of telling me things of which I am already aware.
In chapter One, during Neville\'s memories of his parent\'s battle, I have him as slightly older than he would be in canon. No one I spoke with could give me an exact date, but just from his skills and thought process, I probably wrote him as six months to a year older than he would be.
It was pointed out to me that Burgin and Borkes is in Diagon Alley, not Hogsmeade. Pretend they used a port-key if it makes you feel any better about it! :D I was going to write that in, but just couldn\'t be arsed.
I am such a slave to the movies, that I didn\'t realize until after writing the scenes that the \'Boggart wardrobe\' was banished after the first DADA class, and Harry and Remus used a different Boggart in the staff room.
In book three (I think) Hagrid tells of how HE found baby Harry at the house and how HE took him to Dumbledore. But we all know what a bald faced liar Hagrid is, so we won\'t even go there! ;) Or perhaps he was just covering up for Snape.
I *think* that\'s it for flagrant boo boos, but feel free to let me know about any others that you find. I won\'t change anything, but it\'s always amusing to see how \'off\' I can be when writing! :D I hope you enjoyed the story and I would LOVE to hear from you!
