The Preparation
“You want to what, now?” Severus asked very confused.
“It’s called a nuclear bomb. It uses chemicals sort of like potion ingredi--.”
“I know what chemicals are Miss Granger, I didn’t study potions all these years to forget my first year of apprenticing.”
“Sorry Professor. Old habits die-hard, anyway, it uses chemicals to burn the flesh off bodies. We’re using a powerful containment field designed by Ginny to keep the radiation from seeping into the atmosphere. Of course the containment field will have to be renewed every ten years or so since the magic will have lessened over time. However, that’s not really our concern at the moment. We have to acquire the bomb first from an old friend and then modify it to work in the wizarding world. I’m going to head off soon to meet General Waters and somehow convince him to give me one or I could get the formula and build one I guess but that might take too long.” Hermione took a breath.
“So you’re saying that this bomb will destroy the Dark Lord for good?” Severus asked.
“Yes. We know for a fact that Harry has destroyed six of the seven horuxes that Tom has made and only needs to figure out what Helga Hufflepuff left as her symbol so that we can destroy the last one. Or have him destroy…” Hermione trailed off and looked at the door. “Shh…”
With a wave of her hand the small group became invisible and a silencing bubble placed around them.
Harry and Ron walked into the library and looked around.
“They’re not here mate. Figures, they’re probably out killing more people.” Ron said with disgust, “or worse, shagging in some corner. I can't believe those two are lesbians. It’s hard to believe. It’s just gross. Something is seriously wrong with those two.” Ron sat down in the chair Severus had previously occupied.
Severus looked over at the two girls with an arched eyebrow. “Lesbians? Care to explain?”
“Not really. I don’t really see how it’s any of your business anyway.” Ginny said with a determined look on her face.
Severus chuckled while Hermione pinched the bridge of her nose. All heads shot up when Harry spoke.
“I can’t believe Ginny would agree to something like this. Lesbian or not, she should have been mine, no offence mate. But honestly, Hermione? She’s about as attractive as an Arithmancy book. She’s just so plain looking. Not to mention that hair of hers. If it weren’t for that brain of hers, she’d have nothing going for her.”
Ron laughed, “I know. But oh well. I can’t believe I liked her at one point. She seemed to be blossoming and then it all went downhill after that.” The boys collapsed in laughter.
Meanwhile, in the bubble, Ginny and Hermione were red with barely controlled rage.
“I’m going to rip his testicles off!” Hermione seethed.
“You take Harry, I’ll take my brother.” Ginny said as she stepped outside the bubble.
Severus leaned back against the desk and chuckled softly. Those boys were in for one hell of a surprise.
