Warning: Lusty thoughts from Draco, & previous warning.
Draco was waiting not so patiently for his new friend while trying not to have a nervous breakdown. Against his will he found himself thinking, He’s not coming. He’s not coming. He’s not coming. He’s not coming. He’s-
“Draco?”
Draco whirled around to see Harry standing there. “Harry.” –here. He’d never seen Harry like this. Black jeans shorts on the tight side hugged Harry quite nicely; though Draco found himself wishing they were tighter so he could tell if Harry was wearing underwear or not, or maybe just a bit higher so he could seen Harry’s ass; either way, they showed off his slightly tanned legs off, mocking every one. Since it was August his dark green tank top suited, it made Draco sweat in a way that had nothing to do with the heat of the afternoon, left his broader shoulders and slim arms bare. Black and green flip-flops showed of his paler feet and ankles, Draco had never been turned on by feet before, he was now. He’d never seen Harry wear anything like it.
“Draco? Is something wrong?” Harry had taken a step closer to ask the question.
“Harry… you look… stunning.” Draco felt like he’d been hit with a Transfigurations textbook over his stylized head.
Harry flushed, weather from the complement or the heat was debatable. “Thanks. You look good, too. The colors look good on you.”
Draco was wearing his leisure summer robes. A more expensive version than what the students were given for summer time off. It was dove gray with pale blue accents. His father had had it tailor made for him, insisting that it suited his coloring. Apparently, Harry agreed. He’d have to thank his father for the out fit when he got home. Maybe have all his leisure outfits done in those colors…
Draco blushed, cleared his throat, and said, “Well… is there anywhere you want to go?”
Harry smiled. “Always.” They started to walk to Hogs Head (That’s right, right?). When they got to the door they tried to open it at the same time. They both blushed and hurried in. “I- I just need a word with Professor Hagrid.”
They spotted the giant, mainly due to the fact that he was waving. They somehow worked through the crowd to the man. Draco was tempted to stand to the side, maybe just bow out, he knew Harry was fiercely protective of his friends and he hated his friends… Damn. This was the make or break test.
“Harry, Malfoy.” Hagrid greeted. He was smiling, he kept trying to be nice to Draco, Draco wasn’t sure why.
“Hagrid.” Harry said smiling, they hugged.
“Professor.” Draco muttered, glaring at any one who looked at him. When Harry broke from the hug Draco leaned close and whispered, “This isn’t exactly private, Harry.”
Harry looked confused for a moment, then nodded his understanding. “You can get some pumpkin juice and sit somewhere else, I’ll be done in a minute.”
Draco nodded, relived. “Alright.”
“What’s with you and Malfoy?” Hagrid asked, after he’d answered all of Harry’s questions.
Harry scrambled for an answer. He knew Hagrid would blab, but if he didn’t tell him Hagrid would feel sad. “We decided to set aside our differences and be homework buddies. Hermonie and Ron are going to help.” Smile.
“Oh, alright then.” Hagrid nodded. “Makes sense, I was just wondering.”
Harry smiled, letting out a mental sigh of relief. Now as long as every one else agreed to play along everything would be fine… He hoped.
After Hogs Head they went to the sweets shop. The bought a few things and agreed to go near the Shrieking Shack to talk. On the way out the door they both tried to open it at the same time again. This time Harry, much to Draco’s surprise and pleasure, held on to his hand. “If we hurry no one will see.”
They rushed to the designated spot, Draco refusing to get too close, saying the place was haunted. Harry smiled guiltily and explained that it had been him. Draco took it pretty well, explaining that he ‘supposed he deserved it’.
They sat close to each other under a tree and eat their sweets.
“This is nice.” Harry murmured, growing drowsy in the heat.
Draco looked at him and smiled. “Yes, nice.”
