An eight year old version of Draco was running through a forest, trying hard not to laugh. He was wearing a light blue kimono and sandals with his hair in a high ponytail. He scrambled up a tree and waited, listening for the sounds of approaching footsteps. “Ryuu! Ryuu!” A sharp voice screamed below the tree. Draco looked down and saw a small blacked haired girl. He tried not to move but couldn’t wipe the grin off his face. “Ryuu if you’re hiding in a tree again I’m not playing tag anymore!”
The young blonde’s mouth dropped open and jumped from the tree, the short sword at his side tapping the ground as he landed. “Wait! Haru I’m-”
“Got you! Tag you’re it Ryuu!” She screamed, green eyes sparkling as she ran off into the forest. Draco’s mouth fell open and he screamed “Haru! You little cheater” He took off after her, barely disturbing the forest as he went. He took to the trees and moved faster to catch up to his friend.
He suddenly stopped in the middle of a clearing, losing Haru’s scent when he heard her soft giggling over to the right. He jumped from the trees and ran towards her. The closer he got to her location the more fearful he became. An ominous aura tickled into the area and he knew at once that he was in demon’s territory. His father had always warned him about such places. He had to leave but Haru was somewhere “Aaaahhhhh!!!” ‘Haru’ He took off once again, his world blurring at the pace he set.
It didn’t take long for him to end up at a pool where a large, white snake demon had Haru wrapped up in his coils. He unsheathed his sword and rushed up to the demon “Let go of her!”
”Puny zassu(hybrid) You think you can defeat me!? The Mighty Oberon!” Draco snarled, dodging the demon’s humungous tail as it came crashing towards him. When it was on the ground, Draco stabbed it with his sword, breaking past the scales and cutting up the soft insides. The demon screamed and Haru along with him. “Ryuu! Run away, leave me!”
“I’m not leaving you here!”
”Quiet half-demon”
”Bite me, ugly” She screamed back, happy that she had listened to Draco and learned to speak to snakes. ”I’m going to make you my meal half-demon be grateful for this!” The giant snake opened his jaws only to scream in pain as Draco sliced his mouth open. He dropped his coils, allowing the black haired half-demon to escape to freedom. Draco pivoted on the demon’s mouth and sheathed his blade into one giant red eye.
He landed on the ground and followed Haru into the forest. ”GET BACK HERE!” Oberon was angry now. His bleeding eye and injured tale only added to his fury. He took after the two, revenge filling up his mind and driving the smaller animals away as his magic whirled around him.
Draco pulled Haru behind him. She wasn’t as fast he was but he just couldn’t leave her. Suddenly her hand slipped out of his and she went flying to the ground. “Leave me Draco! Run!” He stopped and turned seeing the large, bloody snake open its large muzzle ready to swallow them whole. His body seized up and images of a bloody rain in a forest of dying people filled his head. His eyes diluted a little before a rain of senbon (Throwing needles), fell and torn the other Demon to shreds.
“Hey Little brother and little brother’s girlfriend.”
Haru rose to her feet and brushed off her kimono, she quickly thanked Draco’s older brothers before moving towards the young demon. “Ryuu” Draco blinked out of his trance “Hmm” Haru gave her friend a worried glance, “Are you feeling well” She asked, putting her hand on his forehead, causing a red flush to raise to his face.
“Of course he’s fine!” Exclaimed Matata as he picked his brother up.
“Yes, why wouldn’t he be princess?” Innokenitiy added, lifting the half demon off the ground. Haru blushed and looked down.
‘Cute’ The twins though before taking to the tree branches. “Let’s head to wizarding Japan kiddies and get the two of you something for those nerves”
HP&DM
They returned from wizarding Japan happy and very content. Draco was looking at the sleeping Haru who was mumbling in her sleep. He smiled a little before his brother broke into his retrieve. “Someone’s in love eh? Eh?”
“Am not!”
“Are too”
“Quiet the two of you you’ll wake Haru-chan”
They jumped over the wall that surrounded the inner sanctuary of their home and up to the sliding door. They removed their shoes and moved into the next room. In there, their mother sat, already pouring tea. “Good eveining” She said, her long light blonde was done up in chopsticks with her bangs hanging down the sides of her face. She was wearing a white kimono with sakura blossoms, which swished as she set the low table for six.
They bowed before her and put Haru in the corner to sleep. However she awoke soon after being placed and moved towards the table. She bowed low to Narcissa who smiled back. Soon everyone was seated and waiting for the head of house to show up. “Oi Haru” Draco whispered, when the hald-demon looked his way he continued. “Kiddies, kiddies, good morning”
Her face turned the darkest shade of red Draco had never seen on a person before. “Draco!” She tackled him but he jumped out of the way. She chased him around the room as he dashed away giggling.
Narcissa turned to her other sons and asked “What happened?” They smiled before Matata began “Well we took the runts to wizarding Japan” At Narcissa’s scathing look he became suitably chastised. “And we bought them some ice cream” At that point Innokenitiy continued “We got they some ice cream but Haru had a really low sugar tolerance and ended up running around screaming random English words”
“Oh” she smiled a little at that and turned her attention to her son and his friend. Haru currently had Draco backed up against the sliding. She stood menacingly over Draco, who was currently pushing himself up against the door. She moved and without warning he jumped onto the sliding door, sticking there as if by magic. “Draco this isn’t fair!” She screamed, jumping up and trying to reach him. “It’s because you’re a lizard demon you could do that!”
“Spider demons can do it- Ahh!”
The sliding door suddenly opened, unsettling Draco from his perch. Draco fell but was caught instantly by his father. The Older blonde looked down at Haru and frowned, she whimpered and moved further into the room. From his place in his father’s grip Draco whispered “Good night Father” The rest of his family followed his lead wishing greetings on the Head Malfoy. Haru politely wished him good night as well, shaking from head to toe. Narcissa got up quickly, closing the gap between her and her mate.
She kissed him gently on the cheek after bowing to him. He handed Draco to her and moved to the head of the table. He sat down and looked at Haru who still remained on the other side of the room. “Child,” His voice washed over everyone in the room like a warm wave. “Come sit and eat with us” Haru maoved and took her original seat near Draco who smiled at her and turned back to his meal.

After dinner Haru and Draco went outside to walk. Fireflies danced around the porch and lawn. Draco walked over to the koi pond, giving it a distrustful look before Haru yanked on his arm. “Ryuu?”
“Mmmh” He replied, looking into her emerald green eyes and feeling lost. “I want to thank you for today” She whispered, regaining his focus. “But I didn’t do anything” She smiled and held his hand. “You stayed with me, no one else would have because I’m a-”
“Don’t say that! It rude, just because you’re not a full demon doesn’t mean-” His eyes widened when he felt her lips press against his. He then slowly closed his eyes.

“Darco”
‘Hmm’
“Draco, wake up”
“Haru…?” Draco shot up quickly, he looked around and noticed that he was currently in a field of flowers in full bloom. “Hi Draco” He turned quickly and noticed a dark haired half-demon standing behind him at eye level. “Haru…” He whispered, reaching out a hand “Wait… why are you so tall?!” He looked around and realised that he was his eight year old self again. “Where am I?”
“Silly Darco, we’re in your dream” Haru smiled, twirling in the field of flowers. She looked just like she did that night ‘No Draco don’t think about it’ He tried to squelch those thoughts until he realised that Haru was speaking to him. “I tried to make everything perfect Draco, I really did but I couldn’t stop that” Her eyes were filled with a sorrow no eight year old should know. “Stop what? What’s going on Haru?”
“I can’t say, I’m not even suppose to be here Draco”
“Since when did you call me Draco?”
“That was a different me Draco, please don’t her come between what can be”
“Haru what are-” She grabbed him by his hand and pecked him on the cheek. “We’re out of time Draco. The past us are gone now and it’s time to wake up”

‘Wake up Draco’
The blonde awoke with a start, he was in the Head Boy rooms at Hogwarts. He stepped out of bed with nothing but his underwear on and went to bathroom. He looked into the mirror and sighed. ‘Haru… Why?’
“What’s wrong shug; you look like you need a friend.”
“No thanks” He told the mirror firmly, leaving before it started to hit on him again. “C’mon shug, I make great company!”

To Axel: I really love when people ask me questions, it gets the juices going and to answer your questions:
1) A submissive shouldn’t be alone, not that they can’t because they can be taken advantage of; 2)Also if their family can’t or won’t accept the dominant, he will continue to fight off other dominants until he is accepted or killed. 3) To answer you last question, it really depends on the strength of the dominant in question and how close they are to the submissive. In some cases the dominant will die but there are cases where they live as well. I hope that answers your questions.
