I’d also like to clear some things up in the first chapter and throughout the rest of the story Charms is taught by both Lily and Flitwick, they do half the classes each.

Only in the first year is DADA taught by Quirrel teaching half the classes and Sirius with Remus teaching the other half of the classes

I also decided to have Care of Magical creatures start first year, even though in the book it doesn’t start till later to show Hagrids view

TWIN OF THE BOY-WHO-LIVED NEAR DEATH

Lucas Potter, the twin brother of the boy-who-lived and the younger brother of the girl-who-lived was found near death on the night bus. Apparently the day before he was supposed to go back to Hogwarts, he called the night bus at 10 o’clock at night and after climbing aboard and informing the driver to take him to diagon alley, went and laid down on a bed. When he reached his destination and didn’t move the bus driver went and checked on him and discovered that his clothes and now the bed were soaked in blood, which the bus driver hadn’t noticed before because of his dark clothing. The bus driver immediately rushed him to St. Mungo’s for treatment and was discovered to have massive internal injuries whip and belt marks covering his back and sides and some on his chest, arms and legs. He also had bruising covering most of his body and was discovered to have multiple broken bones throughout his body along with cuts on his chest made from a knife and five stab wounds, with two on his chest and three on his back with defensive wounds on his arms and hands.

What is even more shocking is their are old scars and evidence of mal-nutrition, which shows that the abuse has been going on for what appears almost eleven years, which has stunted his growth, which is shown by him being only 4’7, while his twin the boy who lived is 5’5 and older sister the girl-who-lived being 5’7 and his father at 6’1 and mother at 5’9.

The real question is who did this to him? How could no one of known?

Will he live?

‘‘NO!’’ Lily screamed, causing the rest of the Potter family, along with Remus and Sirius to come running.

‘‘Lily, what’s wrong?’’ James asked and Lily just showed him the front page of the Daily Prophet. ‘‘This can’t be right’’

‘‘But what if it is’’ Lily said

‘‘But it can’t be. We would have seen it. There would have been signs’’

‘‘There were’’ Remus said ‘‘We just didn’t want to see them’’

‘‘What do you mean?’’ James asked

‘‘Think about it. He didn’t know any of our names, but you and Lily specifically wrote them in the letters. He didn’t even know who any of us were, but you sent photos with him, so he should of at least recognised us and his parents.’’

‘‘So what are you getting at?’’ Sirius asked

‘‘We now know the Dursley’s abused him, so would it be past them to keep the letters and photos away from him?’’ Remus asked

‘‘And we were so mean to him’’ Lily said in a broken voice

‘‘It’s not your fault, we all were’’ James said as he tried to calm his wife

‘‘But how could we of been this horrible to him?’’ Lily asked

‘‘Because we all wanted him to just fit back in again, like nothing happened and he didn’t’’ Remus said

‘‘What do you mean Uncle Moony?’’ asked Michael

‘‘When he first arrived, everyone wanted him in Gryffindor and he ended up in Ravenclaw. He didn’t even seem to care who we were and when he said those things about not knowing our names and us not wanting him. It just made everyone so mad, we knew we sent him away to be safe, but he didn’t and everyone just assumed he did, so everyone thought he was lying. Michael you and your sister are famous when he said those things and then you and Rose yelled at him, everyone just followed your lead and he was labelled as a liar and when he didn’t defend himself, it just reinforced it. Then for the first couple of weeks everyone was so cruel to him and he didn’t say anything. Me, Sirius, your parents and all the other teachers knew that he’d been sent away, so he’d be safe, knew how hard it was for your parents and when Harry, I mean Lucas, came and refused to acknowledge them and then went on to how he didn’t think his parents wanted him, when everyone knew they did. It just made everyone so mad that he was talking about your family, the Potter’s like they didn’t care about him, and even though we knew no one visited him, no one else did, so when you and your parents went on about how he was lying, they assumed he was lying about never being visited either, which made it worse and no corrected them.’’

‘‘But everyone was still so mean to him Uncle Moony and then it just seemed that no one noticed him, everyone just got so caught up in the troll, Michael making the Quidditch team, Quirrel, the house rivalry’s’’ Rose said ‘‘He just seemed to sink into the background and everyone stopped noticing him’’

‘‘Rose is right’’ Lily said ‘‘everyone just got so caught up in everything else and by the end of the year when he was mentioned again, it was too late and we never got a chance to even properly talk too him’’ with that Lily broke down in tears, and while James tried to comfort her, everyone else went on to discuss what they should do next in terms of Lucas.

DURSLEY’S GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY?

It appears that the people Lucas Potter has been living with are his Aunt Petunia Dursley, Lily Potter’s muggle sister, and her muggle husband Vernon Dursley and muggle son Dudley Dursley. It appears that they may be responsible for Lucas’s current state of health.

Lucas was left in their care when he was fifteen months old and with the degree of abuse, which appears to have been going on since the day he arrived at the Dursley’s, there seems to be no other possibility than that they caused or allowed it to happen, because according to the healers at St. Mungo’s there is absolutely no possibility that they wouldn’t have noticed his injuries, especially as a small child, when he would of had to have his nappy changed and been dressed by the Dursley’s.

We can only wait for the trial of the Dursley’s for justice to be met out for Lucas Potter.

Dumbledore stared at the Daily Prophet. How could he not have known, he was the headmaster, he should of seen what was going on. Done something, but he’d just been so focused on the children-who-lived, he’d never thought of the youngest.

He’d agreed with the Potter’s when they decided to send young Harry away. He’d been concerned that Harry would become resentful and angry, being in his older siblings shadow, so when the Potter’s approached him, with the idea of sending Harry to live with relatives, he’d agreed that it would be an excellent idea. He never thought that his relatives could hurt him, but when Harry showed up with his name changed from Harry to Lucas, he should of known something.

He’d failed Tom Riddle and he became Voldemort, Severus had become bitter and had joined Voldemort before he realised he was making a mistake and is now a spy, risking his life every day. Now Lucas was in St. Mungo’s. He’d make it up to him. He wouldn’t fail another child. He wouldn’t lose another child to the dark.

YOUNGEST CHILD OF THE POTTERS WILL HE LIVE OR DIE?

The severity of Lucas Potter’s injuries appear to be quite severe. The healers have been giving him potion after potion in an attempt to save his life, but it appears he may be too weak. It turns out that the reason Lucas Potter has been able to survive as long as he has is because his magic was literally keeping him alive. His magic was keeping his heart pumping where it should of stopped, his magic was keeping him breathing, when he should of been dead and his magic kept him mobile, while he should not of been able to stand, let alone walk.

It appears to still be touch and go and he could die at any moment. The healers though are working round the clock to prevent this and we can only hope that he pulls through.

In another part of wizarding Britain in a mansion, which rivalled the Malfoy’s, a boy in his fourth year at Hogwarts had just finished reading the latest article on Lucas Potter.

He remembered Lucas from when he was first sorted and had been intrigued by the boy, with his clear emerald eyes and midnight black hair and porcelain skin, he knew the boy would grow into a beauty. Combined with his shy and skittish nature and with no friends and his family ignoring him, he’d spotted the perfect opportunity, for him to have the perfect spouse. He knew he was still young, but he’d always been encouraged to go after what he wanted and think about his future, after all his father died young and he was a pureblood, so he had to have the best and this boy would be perfect. He’d already initiated contact with him.

He’d seen him in the library looking at the books and seen him trying to reach a book on the top shelf, with no success and seen his chance to become part of his beauty’s life. He reached over him and plucked the book off the shelf and gave the book to Lucas but not before glimpsing the title to see that it wasn’t a book on any of the subjects, but a book telling tales of different magical creatures, a story book. He stole a glance at the other books Lucas had piled on the table and apart from a book on potions and transfigurations the other two on the table were for lack of a better word story books. With that he left and over the next couple of weeks kept ‘accidentally’ bumping into Lucas and on occasions would sit at the same table as Lucas in the library. By the time he had gone back to the Dursley’s in second year he had started to have small conversations with Lucas.

Now with the abuse out in the open now though, he knew the Potter’s and everyone else would feel pity for him and try to be his friend and the Potter’s would try to make him part of the family. He knew how shy Lucas was though and would hate all the attention and see it as them only feeling guilty. It would be the perfect opportunity, to become a protector of sorts and with Lucas near him, he could stop others taking advantage of his little beauty. Lucas would cling to him, if he allowed it and he knew if he let his little beauty cling to him, he could keep an eye on him and keep him safe.

It would also mean when he set his plan into action, his little beauty wouldn’t deny him and his little beauty would be his. If his name wasn’t...

LUCAS POTTER TO LIVE WITH THE POTTERS

The Potter’s have stated that they will take back custody of their youngest child and say that with their youngest child back, they can now focus on the future, with their family back together again.

With what came out at the Dursley’s trail, the wizarding world can only hope, that the youngest Potter child’s life will get better.

Under veritaserum the Dursley family admitted the abuse and explained that their reasoning was that Lucas Potter was a ‘Freak’ and they were trying to beat the ‘Freakishness’ out of him.

Vernon Dursley admitted to whipping, beating Lucas with his hands and belt and stabbing him.

Petunia Dursley admitted to starving him, burning him on the stove and pouring boiling water on him.

Dudley Dursley admitted to breaking his hand and arm multiple times by jumping on them and beating him with his fists along with other children who Dudley got together to play ‘Lucas Hunting’ and when they caught him they would beat Lucas with their fists.

Now with Lucas back with his parents and siblings, it can only get better. After all what else would be better for Lucas than being able to go home with his parents.

So it has begun, but no matter Lucas will be mine.

So while the Potter’s and their friends were getting a room made up for Lucas and preparing a welcome home party for him.

Deimos Rosier was preparing his own present for his little beauty. All the important people had been invited to Lucas’ welcome home party, including his mother Selene Yaxley, who had gone back to her maiden name after her husband Evan Rosier was killed, after all if she had stayed Selene Rosier, people would of been asking questions, everyone knew who her husband had been, but by returning to her maiden name, it appeared to many that she didn’t support her deceased husbands views. The real reason was so she could slip under the radar and with no more suspicion on her she could continue with her Dark Arts, which she taught her son, who kept the Rosier name. It wasn’t suspicious, because it had been stated in Evan Rosier’s will that his son carry his last name, till he was at least 21, at which point, his mother would hand over the running of the Rosier fortune to him and he could keep the Rosier name or change it. It was the perfect disguise for them, his father had first thought of it knowing that if he died his wife and child would be under suspicion, but his wife hadn’t wanted to deprive her son of his family name and Evan Rosier had been more than happy to put that clause in his will, to please his wife and Deimos like his father would do anything to please his love, his future spouse, to a degree of course. He wrapped his gift and waited for his mother. All he had to do was get his little beauty alone and give him the gift and his little beauty would be his and no one would be able to do anything about it.

Lucas walked to the floo with Mr and Mrs Potter and their children, he couldn’t think of them as his family, he didn’t have one. The words ‘Potter Manor’ a flash of floo powder and he opened his eyes to see people he didn’t know and the shout of...
