Disclaimer:
I do not own Harry Potter (wish I did). I make no money from this (I'm still broke).
Chapter Five
Narcissas Sister- I know what you mean about Remus. I like the pairing between Hermione and Lupin myself. But I also like changing things up from time to time. It can get boring reading the same things. Even lots of a good thing can become too much! I'm currently writing one for him. With any luck it will be finished by the end of the week! Thanks for reading!

Chapter Five
Present day…
The moment they stopped congratulating the two, Sirius took her straight off to the guestroom and locked them in. It was Harry that had to explain to Ron that this wasn’t the first time that she had been pregnant.
“But…” Ron all but stammered.
“She lost the baby,” Remus answered. “It hurt them both so much. I didn’t think they could withstand on a personal level never mind as a couple.”
“Hermione left him,” Harry told him. “Between the newly formed bond between them scaring her spitless, the fact that she had lost a child, and then there was you…It was too much for her. She left and ended up at the Burrow.”
“Mum was acting very oddly towards her now that I think about it,” Ron said as he thought it over. “Did she know?”
Remus nodded. “She needed her mother and so she went to the only woman she could think of who could act as one to her. Minerva is there at the school, but in truth she wouldn’t understand what she did.”
“As much as the woman loves her, she would never be able to get past the fact that Hermione used dark magic to get Sirius Black back from the void,” Harry answered quietly. “Ron, you love Lavender, right?”
“Yeah,” he admitted.
“Then why pretend to be with Hermione at all?” Harry went on. “It wasn’t as if you loved her as more than a sister any more, right?”
“I’m scared!” he confessed. “What Lavender and I have is so big…It’s hard to explain. It’s like she’s a part of me.”
“And to think he didn’t believe in soul mates,” Lupin whispered, making Harry laugh quietly.

Hermione lay silently as she felt Sirius rubbing her belly. Worry was nibbling at her mind like a hungry demon. He felt it too, but was doing everything in his power to alleviate it.
“Would you like Poppy to come over?” he asked her quietly.
“I want to see Molly first,” she breathed, turning to look at him. “I-I told her about…everything. She was upset that it didn’t work out between me and Ron, but she knew it was for the best.”
“I’m sure she does,” he murmured, kissing her temple. “Angel?”
“Hmmm?”
“Will you marry me?” he asked her. “Take the vows and my ring?”
She blinked, looking into his eyes. Slowly she smiled and nodded. “Yes, Lord Black, I would be honored to be your bride.”
“You’re not marrying me for my family name are you?” he teased.
“Heavens no,” she told him, turning to face him her arms going around his neck. “I’m marrying you for the year long pass to Euro-Disney and all the free curios I can eat!”
This had him laughing quietly. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her all the closer, whispering, “You’ll have to be fused to me more now. It will have to be at least once a day, angel. A-are you okay with that?”
“I won’t lie. It’s scary, Sirius, but not for the reasons you might think.”
“Why?” he asked, hoping and praying she wouldn’t rip his heart out in the telling.
“I have never trusted a person as much as I trust you,” she breathed. “And I’m terrified I’m going to lose you again. I lost my parents to Death Eaters during the war. I lost Ron…Merlin, I don’t know if I ever had him! He was safe. He was what I knew. But I thought I knew best that safe was better than the unknown. And for that I am so sorry, Sirius. So very sorry that I hurt you, because I was too much of a child to know safe wasn’t what was meant to be.” She kissed away his tears. “I love you, Lord Sirius Black, and I do not need a ring on my finger to tell me who I belong with or to.” She sighed resting her head on his shoulder. “Does this mean we can’t play at Knockburn Alley anymore?”
He shuddered.
“Gods, but you’re hot slut in that dragon hide,” she told him, her hand sliding down to his ass, patting it. “It makes me horny just thinking about you tied to my bed, begging me like a pretty whore.”
“Oh we’ll keep playing,” he told her. “We’re just taking a break until we know it’s safe to do so and how far we can go.” Sirius smiled. “Come back inside. We’ll rest before going over to see Molly and Poppy.”
