Lies

A/N: Here is the next chapter and I kind of lied Hermione is a little more vicious in this chapter then I thought she would be and Severus wasn’t as mean as I was planning.

Hermione was happier then she ever remembered, she had two sets of wonderful parents, a whole bus load of great siblings, the best friends and she had two babies on the way that she loved already. In the two weeks since she met the Williams things were going her way, but that couldn’t last for long and she found that out when she opened the door of her apartment and found Severus Snape standing on her door step. Rolling her eyes she stepped to the side to allow him to enter.

“What do you want Professor Snape.”

“Miss Granger I came to see how you were doing and to ask if you have been to see the Healer yet, and stop calling me Professor Snape just call me Severus now.’

“Can I call you Sevvy?” Hermione smirked

“No you absolutely may not call me that. You did not answer my question; did you see the healer yet?”

“Yes I saw the Healer two weeks ago.”

“Why didn’t you tell me you saw her that long ago?”

“Mainly because I didn’t want to. It doesn’t concern you.”

“Doesn’t concern me? It damn well does concern me and now that your pregnancy was confirmed we will go to the ministry right now and get married.”

“We will do no such thing, there is no way I am going to marry you.”

“Yes you will, we will get married and raise this baby together.”

“I can raise my babies perfectly well on my own; you don’t need to be involved.”

“I may not need to be involved, but I will be involved, and what did you mean by babies.”

Hermione opened and closed her mouth a little upset at her slip up “I am having twins, girls.”

His eyes lit up in happiness “Ok we will head out to get married right now.”

“I already told you I will not marry you. I don’t want you involved in my life or my babies’ lives we will do just fine by our selves.”

“I don’t really care what you want. You will marry me or I will go to the ministry and get custody of those babies. So you have a choice marry me and be around your children or give them up totally and I will never let you see them again.”

“You couldn’t possibly do that. The ministry wouldn’t give let you have custody you were a death eater.”

“Yeah, but if you remember your best friend Harry Potter went to the ministry and told them what I was really doing and they cleared me of all charges and even made me a war hero. I also have a good steady job. That is more then you have right now I think the ministry would prefer giving those babies to me over you right now.”

Hermione felt her world crashing in around her and wanted to crawl into bed and hide from all the awfulness that was happening at this moment.

“What is it Hermione are you going to marry me and give our girls two parents or are you going to take away their mother?”

“You obviously know the answer to that so let’s go get this over with.” Hermione and Snape used to the Floo to get to the ministry and got married. They then went to pack Hermione’s belongings when there was a knock on her front door and it was Jacob with two of her sisters Abigail and Jessi. Hermione introduced them to Snape and then introduced Snape as her husband. She saw Jacobs eyes narrow in suspicion and went to step between him and Snape.

“What did you do to make her marry you?” Jacob growled not trusting Snape one bit.

Severus smirked “I offered her an opportunity that she couldn’t refuse.” He took a step back when Jacob took a swing at him. “Let’s go Hermione.”

“Jacob I will Owl you as soon as I can.” Hermione kissed her brother on the cheek and left with Severus.

Hermione looked around Severus’s house and followed him while he told her where everything was. “This will be your room, mine is down the hall if you need anything.” When he saw her surprised look he answered irritably “We are married for the babies only we will not be sharing a bedroom. However we are still married and people will think this is a real marriage. So you will not date or sleep with anyone.”

Hermione nodded and went into her room to get away from him and her new prison. She wondered around her room there was a large bathroom to her right and a large walk in closet on her left. In the middle of the room was a huge canopy bed. The room was nicely decorated with wood furniture and floors the colors in the room were light blues. After she unpacked and got familiar with her new room she decided that she was hungry and went in search of the kitchen and because Severus didn’t tell her where it was so she was searching behind all the doors on the first floor. Hermione heard a small pop and she screeched when she saw a house elf looking up at her.

“Miss Hermione what can I do for you?” The elf asked in her squeaky voice

“Hi, what’s your name?”

The elf’s big eyes widened at being asked what her name was “I am Suri, Miss Hermione.”

“Well Suri it is nice to meet you and if you can point me in the direction of the kitchen so I can get a snack I would be grateful.”

“Oh no Miss Hermione please tell Suri what you would like and Suri would be happy to get it for you.” In the last couple years Hermione had slowly gotten over her stance on Elf rights after they had all gotten together and demanded that she leave them alone.

“Thank you Suri can you bring me some crackers or something to snack on.”

“Of course Miss.” The elf said and popped out of the room.

“You should eat more then crackers Hermione.” Severus said from the doorway

“Yeah well Crackers are all I am in the mood for and you may be able to control many aspects of my life, but I will still control what I eat.” Hermione snapped and headed towards her bedroom, but stopped when he grabbed her arm.

“I am just doing what is best for my children.” Severus told her in a deathly calm voice

“This may not be best how are they going to feel with an unhappy mother?”
