A Best Friends' Betrayal

Chapter 5
Weeks went by without a word of what happened that night. Hermione slowly became herself again. She had been very quiet and and barely smiled. Now she was smiling more and focused on the more positive things in life. She put the truth in the back of her head. She figured she would dwell on ot when the time came that she needed to. Harry,Ron and Ginny noticed her change as well. They figured she had broken down over everything that happened and decided not to pressure her on the subject of her parents.
Student were exiting the Great Hall, to head to their dorms for the night. When she walked out , she noticed Draco standing against the wall, almost like he was waiting for someone. She slowly walked by him slowly, loking at the ground.
" Meet me in the Room of Requirement in 15 minutes" he said to her in a whisper
She nodded.
"Hermione!" yelled Harry
She spun around and looked at him with panic on her face.
"Harry what happened?. Did someone get hurt?." she asked
"No" he said glaring at Malfoy. " I just thought I'd walk you to your dorm."
Malfoy glared at Harry. He was about to say something, but caught Hermione look out of the corner of her eye at him. He decided to just walk away, he really wasn't in the mood to fight.
"Thanks, Harry" said Hermione as they began to walk down the halls.
"Well thats a change. Malfoy never misses a chance to insult us. Wonder what he's up to." he said out loud.
"What makes you think he's up to something?" Hermione asked angrily.
"Well its not like him to just ignore us. He always has insults up his sleeve. No doubt the Dark Mark too." he said in defense.
" You know nothing about him. You can't assume things. Maybe he's trying to be civil. It is our last year at Hogwarts. He probably wants it to be enjoyable." she said her temper rising
"His meaning of enjoyable is touturing and putting people down" Harry replied.
"Just lay off him. Harry. You really need to forget about the past and grow up. You and Ron. And he doesn't have the The Mark. I live in the same dorm with him and he does wear t-shirts. " she replied
"Why are you defending him ,Hermione? He's treated you like shit for years!" Harry said a little angrily.
"He's changed Harry! He 's not the same Malfoy you know. He's even isolated himself from all the Slytherins except his best friend, Blaise. Blaise can see that he's changed, and he doesn't care. He accepts him regardless." She replied her voice getting a little louder.
" Hes a slimy git and I don't trust trust him, and neither should you" he said as his temper started to rise.
"Don't you ever call him that again! And for your information, I do trust him. And I have my reasons." she said, as her body shook.
"Your protecting him, Hermione , why? Its almost as if he were your boy, Oh no Hermione don't tell me you and" Harry couldn 't finish the sentence.
" Hermione, how could you after all he's done! How could you betray us, betray Dumbledore! Harry yelled.
"For your information Draco and I were dating way before Dumbledore got killed, And he didn't kill Dumbledore, Snape did!" she yelled back at him.
"Oh, so now your on a first name basis with that fith!" he yelled angrily.
" We have been for the past year! I thought you were my friend, no matter what!" she cried
" How can I be friends with a traitor!" He yelled back
" So now I'm traitor because I fell in love?" she yelled as tears fell down her face. " A friend is suppose to stand by you no matter what decisions you make!"
" Well then I guess were not friends anymore." he said angrily as he turned around and went to Gryffindor tower.
Hermione ran back to her common room and collapsed onto the couch. Draco heard this racket and ran out of his room to see what had happened. He ran to the couch and gathered Hermione in his arms.
"What happened?" he asked.
" Harry knows about us and he hates me" she said sobbing. " I've lost my best friend and he'll probably tell everyone else and then I'll have no friends."
"It's his loss. But I'm sure you haven't lost him completly. Maybe only for a little while. Give him time to cool down. If he's a true friend, which I suspect he is, then he'll come to accept this" Draco said as he rubbed her back.
"Draco, I need you. I want to make love to you." she said looking into his eyes.
"Are you sure? Your hurting right now and I don't want to take advantage of the situation" he said soothingly
"Yes, I'm very sure" she said as she gently placed her lips on his. Her tongue licked his bottom lip and he opened his mouth deepening the kiss. Shivers went down his spine as she took off his shirt and caressed his chest. He held her by the hips and pulled her closer, so she could feel his hardness. He took of her top and unclasped her bra. He needed to feel her breasts against his bare chest. Her hand caressed from his chest down to his waist. She unbuttoned and unzipped his pants. He lifted his hips so she could take his pants and boxers off. He did the same with her skirt. They were now completly naked, Hermione laying on top of him. He gently picked her up and brought her to his room, laying her on the bed underneath him.
"Draco," she said trying to catch her breath," I'm a virgin" she said.
"Its ok, we'll go slow" he said reassuringly. He gently kissed her on her neck and all the way down to her belly button andall the way back up meeting her lips. He gently positioned himself at her opening. He looked into her eyes, they were full of love and nervosness.
"You ready?" he asked softly.
"Yes." she said quietly
He slowly pushed into her small space untill he was all the way in, then pulled out.
"You ok, Mione?" he asked.
She nodded. " Don't stop" she said breathlessly
He continued thrusting his throbbing member in and out of her as she hug on to his shoulders. He could hear her moaning with pleasure, and went a little faster and a little deeper. He could feel her tightning around him and he knew they were both going to climax.
"Oh, Draco!" she said as she arched her back, now meeting his thrusts.
"Oh gods, Mione!" he said as he went faster, finally releasing his seed into her.
Draco collapsed on Hermione and then rolled to the side of her, hugging her firmly from behindkissing he on her neck.
"That was out of this world. The best thing I've ever experienced" Hermione said trying to catch her breath.
" Indeed it was" Draco said gently.
After a few minutes, Hermione had fallen asleep. Draco summoned the blanket and coverd them up and fell asleep a few moment later, both with smiles on their faces and in eachothers arms.
