The Inner Musings of Ron
Harry Potter is or never will be mine (*sniffs*), but that doesn't mean I can't waste my time playin with it can I (hehe). I don't get paid for this and do it puerly for my own entertainment.
Just some fluff that popped into my head because Ron was getting left out of the story
Chapter 5
Ron was, on the whole, finding it very hard to come to terms with Harrys’ new identity. They had practically shared a room almost every night since they had started at Hogwarts. How on earth could he have not noticed that he had been so close to an obvious girl, and a promiscuous one at that, for so long and not realise? Harry must think he was some kind of simpleminded oaf who had had a brain transplant from a blast-ended skrewt. Granted from previous history Ron wasn’t the quickest on the uptake to notice girls that were right in front of him. Take one Hermione Granger for instance. If Ron hadn’t been so busy salivating over Victor Krum, he may have noticed a bit sooner that the girl on his arm was in fact his best female friend. That was another thing Ron was fretting over. It now appeared that both of Rons’ best friends were female. There were just some things you couldn’t talk about with a girl. They had skirts and parts of anatomy that just distracted him whenever there was an interesting conversation going on and he ended up sounding like an idiot, gibbering and commenting on something that was said half an hour before. Harrys’ sudden development of attractive body parts was particularly distracting to him. Apart from they were on display a great deal more than all the other girls, they were something new to look at. He had had ages to ogle the other girls around him, but not Harry. He had many months of ogling to catch up on. Not that he wanted to ogle Harry. That would just be weird because Harry was his friend and would be nothing more. Ogling Harry would be the same as ogling… Seamus for Merlins’ sake! And Harry still did know a bit about quiddich, which was an advantage over most girls Ron knew. Granted that Harry would now be wearing skirts and would now be followed by boys wanting to sleep with her, but at least Harry would still be his friend.
“My mum is going to flip when she realises I’ve been sleeping in the same room as a girl every summer for the past few years” realised Ron, remembering what had happened when Molly Weasley had found out that Charlies’ girlfriend had spent the night in his room.
