Chapter 5: Harry's Fate.

As Voldemort had planned Harry made it to the Chamber of Secrets with the four potions. Harry appeared in familiar corridor full of serpent heads. He was here in his second year. The room was dark with only a single beam light for Harry to see. As Harry walked closer to the light, his scar began to burn.

'Aahh.' Harry gasped.

He finally reached the light. The pain on his scar caused him to fall to the floor. In a dark corridor to his right stared a pair of red eyes. Harry's hairs on his back began to stand up. The creature walked slowly toward him.

'Harry Potter, your fate rests with me.' The creature said.

'Who the hell are you and where's Ginny Weasley?' Harry asked impatiently.

The creature walked into the light, kicked away the Goblet of Fire, and removed his hood.

'Voldemort!'

'Yes, Harry.'

'Where's Ginny?' Harry demanded.

'First give me the four eggs.'

'No, let me see Ginny first.'

'As you wish.' Voldemort with the snap of his fingers lighten up the whole Chamber making Ginny visible. She was hanging over the eyes of the huge statue head of Salazar Slytherin. Her Yule Ball dress had been torn to pieces.

'Ginny. Oh My God. Please don't be dead.'

'She's not dead. However that depends on your cooperation, Harry. Now give me the eggs!!!'

Harry gave Voldemort the four Golden Eggs he collected from the tournament.

'Ah, yes.' Voldemort said greedily.

As the four eggs distracted Voldemort, Harry ran up to the top of the statue. He pulled Ginny to him. Harry untied the rope that was holding her. Harry held Ginny into his arms. 'Ginny! Ginny!' Ginny woke up.

'Harry? Harry!' Ginny hugged Harry and began to cry. Voldemort opened up the eggs. All four eggs made screeching sounds. Harry and Ginny screamed while covering their ears. Voldemort saw the young couple on top of the statue. He saw Harry caressing Ginny.

'Aw, how romantic. The brave young wizard rescues the witch in distress. Awfully touching.'

'Fuck you!' Ginny yelled back.

'You naughty little girl, you need to watch your mouth. Alohomora!'

The head statue mouth opened. The entire room shook as Harry and Ginny fell from the statue. Harry landed on his back while catching Ginny in the air. Voldemort walked over to Harry and cuts his arm. Harry screamed. Voldemort stirred Harry's blood in with the four potions.

'Prepare to meet your doom, Harry.' Voldemort grinned evilly.

Voldemort raised the water from the small area in front of the statue with his hand. With his wand, Voldemort mixed the four potions and Harry's blood. 'You will not survive.' Then Voldemort threw it into the mouth Salazar. 'Serpensortia!'

Voldemort shot a snake into the mouth of the statue. It landed in blood-potion mix. The entire room began to crumble. Harry looked over the entire room. Ginny sat and hid behind the statue. Voldemort spoke in Parseltongue. Harry's worst fear had been realized. The four potions, the snake and his blood, was Voldemort's key to resurrecting the Basilisk, the snake that nearly killed him when he was a second year.

'Harry!' The Basilisk turned and sniffed Ginny.

'Ginny, run!' The Basilisk heard and chased after him. 'Rictusempra!' Harry yelled. The Basilisk slithered out of the way. The blast nearly struck Ginny. 'You can't defeat the Basilisk, Harry. It has your blood inside its body. Which means it attacks only you. I say you only have a few minutes before the Basilisk injects its' venom into your bloodstream and kills you.' Voldemort said.

Suddenly, Fawkes the Phoenix found his way down to the Chamber. He carried the Gryffindor hat along with him. 'That bloody bird will ruin everything!' Voldemort spotted the bird and casted 'Avada Kadavra.' The beam hit Fawkes bursting him into flames. The hat fell next to Ginny. Fawkes' ashes fell into the Basilisk's eyes, blinding it.

'Fawkes may have blinded the Basilisk but it still has the ability to hear and -- aahh.' Ginny saw the Gryffindor word in the hat and pulled it out and stabbed Voldemort in the back of the leg.

'That hurt. Expelliarmus!' Voldemort raised his wand and threw Ginny into a nearby serpent head and knocking her unconscious. He pulled out the sword, 'Episkey.' The wound to Voldemort healed itself. The Basilisk chased through nearby tunnels. Harry managed to trick the Basilisk again by sneaking out a different set of pipes. As he returned into the Chamber, Harry ran to help Ginny.

Voldemort had enough fun and games. Now he was serious.

'Harry! Grab your wand and face me!' Voldemort screamed.

'No.' Harry replied.

'I said bow and face me!' Harry was forced to bow. As the wizards dueled it out, a mother's voice woke Ginny. It was Harry's mother, Lily.

'Ginny, wake up.'

Ginny awoke to see a young woman standing above her.

'Mrs. Potter?'

'Yes, Ginny. I'm Harry's mother.'

'I remember seeing your picture in Harry's memory book.'

'Ginny, has much I would like to talk, time is on the essence. You must help Harry. You have the gift inside you.'

'What gift? I don't understand.'

'Love, Ginny. Love is your gift, as was mine. When Harry distracts Voldemort, grab the Goblet of Fire. It is the portkey to return you and my son to the maze entrance at Hogwarts.'

'Ok.'

Voldemort overpowered Harry, forcing him down to the ground. Voldemort used his wand to throw Harry into several serpent heads down the corridor. Then he picked Harry up by his wand and threw him back to the entrance of the Chamber itself. Ginny grabbed the Goblet of Fire and yelled for Harry.

'Harry! Come on!'

Harry couldn't get up. 'It's time to die, Harry.' Voldemort was quickly distracted by a bright light coming from behind him. Ginny had a white aura surrounding her. 'What are you doing?' Voldemort casted a spell, Ginny stared into his dark red eyes, and deflect his spells with her wand. Voldemort couldn't believe that a girl her age was defeating him. 'No. It's impossible.' The Goblet was ready to transport them back to Hogwarts.

Suddenly, the Basilisk reappeared behind Harry. 'HARRY!' Ginny yelled. Harry saw the large snake behind him and ran to Ginny. Voldemort casted one last spell, 'Densaugeo!' The teeth of the Basilisk increased in size. Before reaching Ginny, Harry felt two sharp teeth enter him. Harry screamed in pain. Voldemort tried to burn Harry when he entered the Goblet but missed and hit the Basilisk in the face, destroying it.

'No!' Harry and Ginny escaped. But Voldemort remembered that the maze wasn't far. 'Both of you haven't escaped my wrath!' Voldemort disappeared.

Back at the arena Ginny appears with Harry. His back is in front of her. The crowd doesn't understand what has taken place and they all cheer, triumphant cheer music is playing. She grabs Harry's arm, but he was unable to move.

'Come on, get up.'

'Ginny.' Harry said weekly.

'What?'

'I can't move.' Harry revealed the Basilisk teeth. One was stuck in his ribs, the other directly near the heart. 'Oh God. No, You'll be fine.' Ginny had difficulty pulling them out, Harry screamed in agony and began coughing up blood. Ginny then yell to the crowd, 'Help me!' She laid next to Harry, rubbing his cheek.

Someone, in the crowd yelled 'Everyone, Harry's hurt.' McGonagall and other faculty members rushed to Harry. Ron and Hermione arrived first. Hermione gasped in horror, while Ron held her back.

Ginny started to cry on Harry's body. 'Ginny, the venom has spread too quickly through my body.'

'No. Hold on. Please, don't leave me. I love you too much.'

'If I die, I'll always be with you.'

Ginny kissed him tearfully. Harry's heart was barely beating. Then the Dark Mark appeared over the entrance. Voldemort yelled out 'Ginny Weasley!'

Voldemort arrived at the maze. Everyone was in shock to see Dark Lord. He was pissed. However, Ginny was furious. She spotted Harry's wand and grabbed it.

'Ron, Hermione. Go.'

'What? Ginny, you are mad. He'll kill you.' Ron yelled.

'Ron, come on. Ginny has to fight for Harry's life.' Hermione forced Ron back.

'Bring it on, you coward.' Ginny positioned herself with both wands. Voldemort unleashed an attack. Ginny blocked his beam with both wands. Voldemort yelled out and increased his beam power and forced Ginny on her knees.

Ginny got up and yelled out, 'Sonorus!' Voldemort was unaffected by the spell. Voldemort casted his own, 'Sectumsempra!' Ginny flew back against Harry. She tried to get up but saw a large cut on her leg.

Voldemort started to make the final kill. Several bright lights appear. Five souls come walking out. Dumbledore, Cedric, Lily, James and Sirius Black.

Ginny reached out for her wand but found Lily's hand.

'Mrs. Potter, I can't defeat him.'

'Yes, you can. Your love for my son is enough. I can tell that he has wanted to spend some time alone with you. You can give him his wish.'

'What do I have to do?'

'Combining your love and mine for Harry. Together, we can defeat Lord Voldemort.'

Ginny got up and yelled at Voldemort.

'Hey you fucking coward, try picking on someone besides Harry.'

Voldemort yelled back. 'Don't call me a coward!' Voldemort wrapped his hands around Ginny's throat. He looked into her eyes. Suddenly Ginny's face looked a lot like Lily. 'No, you're dead! I killed you! I KILLED YOU!!!' Ginny grabbed Voldemort's hands off her neck. Voldemort began screaming. Voldemort quickly backed up but was surrounded by Dumbledore, Cedric, James and Sirius.

'Go Ginny.' Lily commanded her. Ginny ran and put her hands on his face. Voldemort screamed in agony and flew away to hide once again.

Ginny fell down next to Harry. She felt a hand grab her. It was Harry. Then McGonagall and the other faculty arrived. Then Arthur and Molly Weasley arrived. Ginny limped to her mother. Ginny hugged her parents while crying in her mother's shoulder.

'Professor McGonagall, please help him.' Ginny cried out.

'Hagrid let's take them to the hospital wing.' McGonagall said.

Hagrid grabbed Harry and carried him to the hospital wing. Ginny joined Harry as well, being helped by the twins, Ron and Hermione. Madam Pomfrey attended to Harry's wounds immediately. She hooked Harry up to an I.V. and performed the emergency surgery. Hermione attended to Ginny. She started to help Ginny remove her clothes. The boys are staring. 'Ahem. A little privacy here, boys.' Hermione demanded.

Ron started in as usual. 'But Harry's in the same room as Ginny.'

'Ronald Weasley, don't start! Harry's got reason to be here, you don't!' Ginny yelled at her brother.

After being yelled by his sister, Ron and the twins left.

'Finally.' Ginny said. 'Hermione can you help me out here?'

'Sure'

Hermione helped Ginny out of her torn dress. All she had was on underneath was a pink thong. She groaned, 'Damn it, I loved this dress!'

'Don't worry, I'll take it to your mother. She can fix it.'

Hermione began to stare at Ginny's ripe body while she wrapping up her injured thigh.

'What?'

'Nothing. I'm surprised you and Harry haven't, well you know...'

'I know. I can tell he's wanted me for a while, but after Dumbledore's death, I figured he wasn't interested anymore. I didn't get a chance to tell you this, but I spotted him staring at me when I was trying on my dress after I got out of the shower the morning we left.' Ginny told Hermione.

'Well, you should ask him, shouldn't you?'

'Well, I think that he's waiting for the right time.'

'Could be. Just wait he'll ask you when ready. Here you go, Ginny.' Hermione finished helping Ginny in a hospital gown.

'Thank you, Hermione. I want to check on Harry.'

'Ok.' Hermione helped Ginny into a wheelchair. She rolled her next to Harry. Ginny held Harry's hand and kissed it.

'I'll leave you two alone, for a while. I'll check back later. Oh here's some advice, when Harry gets better plan something special for his birthday.'

Ginny nodded. Ginny observed Harry and asked Madam Pomfrey a concerning question.

'Will he live, Madam Pomfrey?' Ginny asked seriously.

'Yes, help me out here and hold his head up.' Ginny did as she was told.
Madam Pomfrey gave Harry a healing-potion drink. 'There. He should be fine after that.' Madam Pomfrey said. 'Would like anything, dear?'

'Yes. A glass of water, please.' Madam Pomfrey gave Ginny her glass.

'There you go. Anything else?'

"Yes, I'd like to be alone with him for while, if that is all right?'

'Sure.'

While being checked on, Ginny's leg had fully healed as well as Harry's wounds. Days later, Harry, finally awoke. He was surprised to see Ginny by his side. Ginny was reading a pamphlet.

'Ginny. You're alive. I thought Voldemort had killed you.'

Harry began trembling.

'What's wrong, Harry?'

'I thought I felt my mother while I was dying out there.'

'You did...through me.' Ginny kissed him. 'Don't leave me again. I've got surprise for you, Harry.'

'What is it, sweetheart?'

She gave Harry the pamphlet. He read it: 'The Yule Ball?'

'Will you go to the dance with me?'

Harry kissed her. 'Does that answer your question?' Ginny kissed him again. 'Yes it does.'

'But Ginny how can we have another, the Yule Ball set was destroyed by Voldemort.' 'As a special treat, while I was battling Voldemort, I talked to Professor McGonagall about having another because the other was ruined. Dumbledore agreed that everyone though should get a second chance. As well as canceling our exams.'

'Good. Ginny, I want to tell you something.'

'What is it, Harry?'

'I love you.'

'I love you too.'

As Harry finished kissing Ginny, he looked back at the pamphlet and smiled. In Harry's mind he had only one though: That was to make Ginny Weasley, Ginny Potter.


Next chapter...The Final Chapter, Harry will finally get it on with Ginny, and something else will happen. A certain marriage.
