Ravioli it's the best for me

Disclaimer: Winter is only mine

Chapter 5 Ravioli it\'s the best for me

But it turned out, things could get worse. Much worse. As I later found out. Hermione\'s outfit (for me) was going to be as-short-as-it-gets mini shirt, boots with five inch sticks as heels, and I-can-see-all-the-way-down-to-California shirt. I quickly set her right on the clothing. So after a bit of arguing, we both agreed on sneakers, pants, and some shirt called a spaghetti strap shirt. I couldn\'t manage to talk Hermione out of the shirt, not even when I said that I didn\'t have to wear it if I didn\'t want to. To which she replied, that she didn\'t have to help me seduce Snape if she didn\'t want to. I had no choice but to give in after that. So after I got dressed, Hermione and I talked about what I should do in detention, while she reapplied my make-up, and did my hair. Just before I left, Hermione did a warming charm on me, since I didn\'t take a sweater. She also did offer to walk with me to the dungeons. I told her that I would be fine. So now, here I am, outside the dungeon door, praying that Snape won\'t give me a long detention. But knowing Snape, I\'ll be here all night.

I took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.

\"Enter\"

I quickly went in, shutting the door behind me. I went to stand in front of Snape\'s desk, but had to wait for a whole minute before he finally looked at me.

\"There are your cleaning supplies.\" He said, pointing to a very small bucket with two extremely dirty rags, a really old mop, and a scrubbing brush with half the bristles gone.

\"How generous.\" I muttered under my breath. \"Wow, thanks. So what do I need to do?\"

\"You need to make this entire room, and all it\'s contents, absolutely spotless.\" he said with a really scary looking smirk (not a good sign), \"Oh, and you also need to finish this all before midnight.\"

\"...... WHAT?!\" I yelled, \"But that only leaves me with four hours!\"

\"Actually it\'s now 8:05, so it leaves you with only three hours and fifty-five minutes.\"

It took all the control I had left in my body, not to go and strangle Snape right on the spot, mutter angrily under my breath what I thought about Snape, or just kick everything in sight including Snape. Instead I forced myself to calm down, while I rolled up my sleeves, and took everything out of the bucket, so I could fill it with water. Half an hour later I was no nearer to finishing my task than Snape was to becoming nice. After a while, I decided to try and flirt with Snape or something along those lines. I started with looking up every five minute, stare at Snape for a minute, and sigh. Not a it-is-so-unfair sigh, but one of those the-love-of-my-life-doesn\'t-know-I-exist sighs. I probably got to do it for at least an hour, before Snape finally said anything.

\"Do you need something?\" Snape asked.

\"Nothing Professor.\" I answered in the best dreamy love voice I could do. I probably sounded like I was on something.

\"Then get back to work.\" He snapped.

\"Yes, Professor.\"

I waited a few minutes before starting to sigh again.

\"Ms. Walker, if you do not need anything, stop sighing!\"

I went back to cleaning up the dungeon, thinking what could I possibly do next. Then it hit me. Lord knows what possessed me think of it, but I ended up singing the first song that came to mind. It turned out to be one I hadn\'t sang in a long time. A very long time. I didn\'t know the real title, but according to my dad\'s, brother\'s, sister\'s and mine version it went under the name of \'The ravioli song\'. In fact my dad had even changed the lyrics, a bit. When I had first learned it, you\'d sing about getting ravioli on a article of clothing, but now (thanks to dad) we sang it about anyone getting ravioli in, on, between, or up anything. I took a quick look at Snape, before bursting into...

\"Ravioli!
I love ravioli!
Ravioli, it\'s the best for me!

Does Malfoy have it in his hair?
Yes, Malfoy has it in his hair.
In his hair?
In his hair.
Ohhhh!

Ravioli!
I love ravioli!
Ravioli, it\'s the best for me!\"

You should have seen the look on Snape\'s face, when I started to sing the first three lines! His head had snapped up, and he looked at me in bewilderment. I had enough trouble not laughing at his expression, but when I got to the fourth line, I nearly lost it. His face had gone from bewilderment to utter shock (Not that I blame him. I would\'ve been shocked too, if Snape suddenly jumped, and started singing something about ravioli in Malfoy\'s hair). I was surprised that he hadn\'t killed me... yet. So encouraged by his silence I went on.

\"Does Pansy have it between her toes?
Yes, Pansy has it between her toes.
Between her toes?
Between her toes.
In his hair?
In his hair.
Ohhhh!\"

Since Snape still hadn\'t said anything, so I went through a list of everyone I knew and hated. I must admit, I sang nicer thing about the Gryffindors, but what can I say. House loyalty. I was almost done cleaning, when I realised that there was one last person to sing about. I hesitated for a second, before singing...

\"Does Professor Snape have it up his n-\"

\"Ms. Walker! If you even dare to finish that sentence, whatever happens to you next, I can not be held responsible for. Also I will personally make sure that Gryffindor loses all points that you have and will ever have, you flunk Potions, have detention for the rest of the years that you\'re here, and Gryffindor never wins another Quidditch match as long as I\'m Potions Master of this school.\" Snape hissed.

\"Yes sir.\"

I quickly finished up the last part of the room. Well maybe not the last part. I quietly debated with myself whether I should clean Snape\'s desk. I decided to ask to ask instead.

\"Excuse me Professor, but should I clean your desk?\" I asked.

He didn\'t say anything, almost like he hadn\'t heard. He was probably pretending he couldn\'t. I tried again.

\"Professor?\"

Still nothing.

I glared at him, before shouting \"Professor Snape!\"

\"Ms. Walker, since I am not deaf. 5 points from Gryffindor, for shouting.\" Snape cooly said.

I opened my mouth to say something really nasty, but just bit my tongue. \"Should I clean your desk Professor?\" I asked again.

\"I see no reason why you shouldn\'t.\"

I mentally cursed him, while I cleaned his desk. I was just bending over to make one last pass across it, when I noticed that Snape was looking at something very strangely. Almost like... I quickly dared to look down, and let out a small shriek. He could see down my shirt. Somehow or another, while I was trying to stand up, I managed to trip on the bucket behind me. Naturally I grabbed on something to keep myself from falling, with turned out to be a loose shelf. A second later, the shelf, myself, and a lot of bottles came crashing to the floor. Snape was next to me in a flash, and had pulled me up from the mess.

\"Ms. Walker, are you all right?\" Snape asked.

\"What?\" I asked in confusion. Clearly I had hit my head a little too hard, because now Snape was being nice.

\"I asked if you were all right?\"

\"I think so.\"

\"Good, then 20 points from Gryffindor, and detention!\"

\"WHAT?! Why?!\" I shrieked.

\"For breaking all my healing potions, and making a mess.\" Snape sneered. \"Now clean it up!\"

I just started picking up all the glass, when I heard the unmistakable chimes of midnight.

\"Well Ms. Walker it appears that you haven\'t managed to finish your detention on time. Another 10 points from Gryffindor.\" Snape said, while starting to walk to the door, \"Don\'t even try to take anything, because I\'ll know if you do. Good night Ms. Walker.\" He smirked, shutting the door.

It must of taken me another hour to clean the mess I made, as Snape would say. I know it took a good 45 minutes to clean one spot, were some potions had mixed together. Finally I was done. I took a quick look around, and nodded my approval. I must have been more exhausted then I realised, because I just meant to rest for a minute, but ended up falling asleep in the dungeons...
