Snape\'s Choice

Chapter 5

Hermione entered the Great Hall and sat down at the Gryffindor table. Professor Dumbledore hadn\'t told her that she couldn\'t still sit there. She had just helped herself to some eggs when Dean and Neville appeared. They glared at her and then sat down. She was use to this by now, but it hurt sometimes. Harry and Ginny appeared and sat down.
\" Hello Hermione,\" Ginny called.
\" Oh hello,\" Hermione replied. \" Sleep well?\" Ginny nodded. Harry told her all about what Ron was doing and everything.
\" He\'s still acting like a jerk,\" Ginny told her. \" I mean he still doesn\'t have a clue that your married and are off limits.\"

Hermione knew for a fact that Ron had feelings fer. er. And of course her marriage to Professor Snape meant that he couldn\'t marry her. Hermione did alot of thinking the two weeks that she had been married to this man that she hardly knew. He had been kind to her and defended her, but she was scared that he would take his rights as a husband and force her into the Marriage bed. He had that right as her husband, but it scared her what he might do. He had been a Deatheater and he still had those dark urges. It scared her to have to face those one day.
\" Earth to Hermione, come in Hermione,\" said the voice of Harry. She snapped out of her daze and looked at him.
\" What?\" Harry shook his head.
\" I was just about to warn you that Ron is entering.\" Hermione looked over just in time to see Ron enter. He sat down next to her and wrapped his leg around hers.
\" Now your not going anywhere,\" he spat. Hermione looked alarmed since there were no teachers around except for Professor McGonagall.

\" Leave me alone Ron,\" she said. She really didn\'t want to use the charm to get her husband\'s attention, but if push came to shove she would either have to or use her own brand of force.
\" No, I want to talk to you.\"
\" And I\'m going to head down to Advance Potions.\" Ron shook his head.
\" Your sd hud husband can do without you for a few minutes,\" he told her. \" I want to know what he has that I don\'t, is it money?\"

Hermione hated this part of him, she knew that he hate the idea that his family was poor and they couldn\'t afford the nice things in life. Of course he knew that\'s not why she married Snape, why did he have to act like a jerk?
\" No,\" said Hermione. \" He offered me protection as I have told you.\" Ron rolled his eyes.
\" I bet he told you to say that.\" Hermione was starting to get mad.
\" No he didn\'t tell me to say that,\" she spat at him. \" And for your information I can take care of myself, so why don\'t you leave me alone.\" She tried to get up, but Ron\'s leg kept her in her seat.

\" I\'m sure that we can share you,\" he remarked. \" I\'m sure that old Snape wouldn\'t mind sharing his wife.\"
SLAP. Both Ginny and Hermione had slapped Ron on the face at the same time. Ron fell over and Ginny kept Hermione in her seat while Ron fell to the floor.
\" Never say that again,\" yelled Hermione. She got up and left the Great Hall. She had never been so embarressed in her life, and now she decided to make up her mind. She was going to find out more about her husband and if this was really meant to be then she would find out his hidden motives. All Snape\'s had hidden motives, and she hoped that they were the right ones.
