They were at the Dursley’s for two years, when Rose got her Hogwarts letter, but Rose refused to leave the Dursley’s without Harry and after a talk with Dumbledore and the Potter’s, it was agreed that they would return to Potter Manor, but Rose wasn’t happy about that. She refused to leave Harry alone with the Potter’s all year and so it was agreed to send Harry to the Prep school in Hogsmead. The Potter’s and Dumbledore had tried to get Ethan to go, but after the first day he refused to go again. He wasn’t given the attention he thought he deserved. He had been humiliated when asked questions and was unable to answer, unlike the rest of the children, who could answer all the questions. He couldn’t get his way, he was disciplined when he did something wrong. All of this made Ethan mad and he ran to his parents and they took him out of the school. They’d tried everything since then, to train Ethan, but all the tutors Ethan ignored and forced his parents to fire. In the end, all he did was grow up as a normal boy, who was spoilt every second of his life.

The day Harry went to the Prep school the Potter’s watched as he hugged Rose goodbye and went to the school, never looking at them. The same happened when Rose left for Hogwarts, she hugged Harry goodbye and got on the train never looking back at the Potter’s only leaning out of one of the windows to wave at Harry. Rose was sorted into Slytherin and at first they were angry, but soon forgot all about Rose, in favour of Ethan.

In the meantime, Harry was doing very well at the prep school, though he didn’t have any friends, he wasn’t bullied and had easily caught up with the rest of the children. The Potter’s didn’t even realise how smart their two children were, until they got the end of term reports. Rose and Harry were both getting high grades and the Potter’s decided to celebrate, but in all of their planning they forgot one thing. Ethan didn’t like to be over shadowed. Ethan complained and the Potter’s celebrated Rose and Harry’s grades, with Ethan at a quidditch match, leaving Rose and Harry behind.

The years past and soon Ethan and Harry were both at Hogwarts. Ethan of course in Gryffindor and Harry ended up in Ravenclaw. Everything seemed perfect in the Potter household. All the children in different houses, one even in Slytherin, but the Potter’s stayed together and supported their children.

That all changed when Rose turned seventeen and petitioned for custody of Harry. The Potter family was interviewed and James and Lily explained that after Rose entered Slytherin, she’d started to change and Ethan went on to say that the reason she wanted Harry was because she wanted to break the special bond they had. No one interviewed Harry or Rose and Harry was made to stay with the Potter’s and Rose was painted by the press as a jealous sibling, who was jealous of Ethan’s fame and the special bond he had with Harry, while she didn’t appear to have a bond with either. In the end Rose was forced from the Potter household. However because of her skill in potions, she went on to become a potions apprentice and made a living, with the money she had saved over the years through odd jobs and by selling potion ingredients that she grew and acquired.

Harry had been making plans to leave Potter Manor since finishing Hogwarts and was finally going through with his plans to move in with Rose.

He had just left the pet store when everything suddenly went black. The last thing he heard before he lost consciousness was ‘‘Your mine now my angel’’.
