Chapter Four

Chapter Four

Draco had been cooking dinner when he heard a knock at the door. He was startled as he hadn’t been expecting anyone. He crossed through the living room of his apartment and threw back the bolt before opening the door.
He was shocked to see Hermione standing there. Her bushy hair had been tamed into wavy curls that fell around her shoulders. She wore a tan knee length trench coat that tied at her slim waist. Her legs were bare and he longed to run a hand along them from her black stilettos to her hips. She smiled at him her brown eyes sparkling. “Can I come in?”
“Of course,” he murmured stepping aside, “I was just making dinner.”
“Oh, I’m sorry to interrupt.”
“There’s plenty. Are you hungry?”
“Famished,” She replied.
“Good, I’m making shrimp scampi with shrimp imported from Maine, garlic bread, a garden salad, and a nice Pinot Grigio to drink.”
“That sounds wonderful.”
“Please take a seat and let me get you a glass of wine.” Draco said as he gestured to the couch. Hermione removed her coat revealing a tight black dress that clung to the curves of her body. The dress had a plunging v-neckline that showed the tops of her ample breasts. Draco headed for the kitchen as his blood headed south.
He returned to find her sitting on the couch with her ankles crossed in front of her. He handed her a glass before sitting down beside her and was careful to leave a good amount of space between them.
“You know Draco, I didn’t come here for dinner,” Hermione stated as she scooted over filling the gap between them.
“Oh?” Draco responded gulping down his wine. She leaned over and nibbled gently on his ear.
“I came for sex,” she whispered in his ear before descending to kiss his neck.
“Give me one moment,” he responded jumping up, “I don’t want the scampi or bread to burn.”
He returned a few moments later to find her sprawled out on his couch completely naked. “Draco, come here,” She whispered calling him over with a finger. His cock led the way. When he reached her she pulled her down on top of him with unexpected force. His mouth met hers in a bruising kiss, his hands tangled in her hair. He didn’t even notice when she unbuckled his pants and pulled them off of his hips.
Suddenly he was sitting up completely naked and she was on the floor between his legs with her mouth on his cock doing the most amazing things. Her tongue seemed to wrap around his cock as she took him deep in her throat. She sucked on the head and ran her tongue from the base all the way up. He gasped and moaned in succession as she pulled back and smiled at him.
“Hermione, don’t stop, “he moaned. She lowered her head again and swathed her tongue over his tip before burying him deep in her throat. He couldn’t hold back any longer and pulsed into her mouth. He felt her swallow him down. “Oh god,” he murmured as he pulled her up to kiss her face, her neck, her chest, and her mouth.
She moaned into her mouth while his hand caressed her thigh slowly moving closer and closer to her wetness. “Oh, Draco,” she moaned, “Please, I want you now.” He threw her down on the sofa and entered her with one leg stroke as she wrapped her legs around his back. He pounded into her tight heat as she moaned and writhed with pleasure beneath him. Her face contorted in ecstasy as her body shook with her orgasm. Draco pulled out and slid back in ready to orgasm….
“Beep, beep, beep.” Draco rolled over and reached to his end table for his wand. He quickly chanted the incantation to stop the incessant buzzing of his magical alarm clock. He was alone. Completely alone and a filthy mess. He felt emptiness inside of himself. “God I’m in love with her,” he thought to himself. He glanced at the clock, it was ten forty five. He had fifteen minutes before the auror’s meeting at the ministry. Draco headed off for a quick rinse with a great weight upon his shoulders.

Harry sat down at the end of the long conference table and looked over the team of fifteen Aurors that he had assembled. Five of them were senior aurors, the rest junior aurors. He had assigned two junior aurors to each senior auror to lessen the work load. He wanted this investigation to be the smoothest and most thorough in Ministry history.
“Why are we here/” Rosamund Flemly an obstinate woman with blonde hair cut close to her face asked.
“Yeah, what is so important to bring us all here at eleven at night?” Lucien Penbittle another senior auror questioned.
“I have called you all here this evening to launch a new and very important investigation,” Harry began, “each of you has a folder in front of you, please open it and read the report within before we continue.”
Harry and Draco watched as the aurors opened the folder and began to read the missing persons report that they had so carefully prepared.
“Um, excuse me,” a young twig like junior auror began.
“Yes?” Harry answered
“The missing person is Hermione Granger? Your friend who helped you defeat the dark lord?” the twig asked.
“Yes, that’s correct,” Harry stated unsure why the twig felt it was a necessary question.
“Potter,” Rosamund Flemly began pushing her folder away and pursing her lips, “I know Ms. Granger is your friend, but don’t you think this is a little excessive?”
“Potter, I have to agree with Flemely fifteen aurors is way too many for a missing person’s investigation. Foul play hasn’t even been established. For all we know the witch went to visit her family,” Lucien Penbittle added. Harry could barely stand Penbittle. He was a grouch, but he was also brilliant.
“Excessive? Visiting family?” Draco fumed, “None of you knew her!”
“Draco be quiet.” Harry whispered placing a hand on the mans shoulder.
“What is he doing here?” the twig asked pointing to Draco.
“He is my secretary.” Harry answered.
“Personal assistant,” Draco corrected, “I cannot believe the lot of you. Harry and I know Hermione. We know that she would not just take off to visit family without letting someone know…”
“Draco please…”
“If Hermione is missing it’s because she’s been kidnapped or murdered!”
“There is a first time for everything,” Rosamund Flemely mumbled loud enough for the entire room to hear.
“Yeah, like a secretary thinking he knows how to be an auror,” Lucien Penbittle commented.
“Please, everyone calm down and Draco please don’t butt in. We know what we are doing,” Harry stated, “Now, I know the number of people here may seem excessive, but we only have one other investigation going on and if I need to I will move people to any new cases that come in.”
“What about my concerns?” Penbittle asked as he tapped his wand against the table.
“As Draco said Hermione is not the type of person to go off somewhere without letting someone know…” Harry trailed off as the door to the conference room opened and the looming form of Kingsley Shacklebolt stepped in.
“Potter, a word please,” Shacklebolt barked motioning for Harry to join him outside.
“Read over the report again. When I return I will give out assignments,” Harry instructed before rising and walking out of the room.
“I received the missing person’s report for Ms. Granger.” Shacklebolt started as the door clicked shut, “ I am sorry that your friend is missing Potter, but you will not put fifteen aurors on this case.”
“But sir…”
“Potter you can have four. Two seniors and two juniors. If foul play is determined we can re-negotiate.”
“Sir, you know Hermione. You know she wouldn’t just take off,” Harry pleaded.
“I do know that Potter, but I also know that it would look like the ministry is playing favorites and I cannot allow that,” Shacklebolt finished firmly his big arms crossed against his strapping chest.
“Yes, sir,” Harry answered with a sigh of defeat.
“One last thing,” Shacklebolt began as Harry gave him a quizzical look, “You will be working with the muggle police on this.”
“What! Why?”
“Potter, surely you realized that Hermione lives in a muggle apartment and works in a muggle café.”
“I didn’t think of that.”
“Detective Gwen Cooper and her forensic team will meet you at Hermione’s apartment in half an hour.” With those final words Shacklebolt strode off down the hall his bulking form leaving a shadow far behind him.
Harry opened the door of the conference room and stuck his head inside, “Flemely, Penbittle, Zorilla, Molina and Malfoy with me. The rest of you can go home.”
