CH 4: U-turn and to count on someone

ATN: I'm sorry I haven’t updated in a vile. But I had a whole week to sow a costume for a Halloween party so I could look like Alice in Resident evil 3.

I also want to dedicate this chapter to my great-grandmother who passed away 9/11 at three in the morning. She became 100 years old. To lila mormor Ada.

thanks for all the reviews.

It had been quite a day. After ancient runes and divination, he thought his lowest time of the day would come. He had never liked that big oaf. And his teaching skills stunk. But this time he really surprised him. He wasn’t as bored as he was use to. And it got even better with the squib drenching Potter.

Potter sure had acted tens all day. He could see already in divination the tension rolling of him. For anybody else they might not see it but with his constant Potter studying he could see it. He only watched to see when it would make most impact with a well aimed insult mind you. His shoulders and jaw was set. But what most showed it was his hard stare strait forward. He barely waivered with his eyes. Especially not when Weasley talked to him. Something was straining on Potter and it had to do with the rest of the trio.

He never thought the brainless weasel would show a grain of the voice of reason. And how hade he missed the missdemeanour between Potter and the mud-blood? ‘I can’t trust you!’ If that isn’t a nail in the coffin then what is.

It seemed he wasn’t the only interested in the letter. But he had thought by now Potter had filed them in. If Potter’s words were any to go by, it seemed he had more skeletons in his closet. Draco was a bit unnerved to notice there was more to Potter then he thought. He always thought Potter sucked at hiding things. But there were obviously things he hadn’t even remotely picked up on. ‘He is a lot sneakier than I gave him credit for.’

Seeing Potter’s humiliation was just priceless. He just loved to make it even worse. ‘I can’t get enough of that angry face. It’s just delicious...wait what? Delicious...’ He couldn’t help but notice the look Potter had, drenched hair dripping down his face really suited him well. And he wouldn’t mind seeing it again.

Harry stormed in to Gryffindor common room. Terrifying some first years in his passing. Shrugging of his drenched clothes, he jumped in to the showers to warm up. Even if it was early September the water wasn’t overly warm in the lake. Feeling the warm water cascading down his back, as he leaned his forehead against the cool tile, he contemplated his fate.

Even if he tried to have a normal life it all seemed to backfire on him. Voldemort had been quiet but in return he got a visit from himself. Now his friends were trying to snoop out what was in the letter he gotten. Was he ever to get a private life? Ether it was the Prophet spouting lies and invading his life or his friends DEMANDING to know everything. He knew Hermione would justify it by saying it was for his own protection. But was it really? Or maybe just a fraction. Where did they go of saying he couldn’t have something all to himself for once. All his life his privacy had been out on display. ‘I just want to be normal.’ He sighed.

Shutting of the shower and towelling dry he went back for a change of clothes. Ron Stayed quiet as he collected his books when Harry passed. Harry dressed in the uncomfortable silence.

“She shouldn’t have said that...back then to Dumbledore. She’s just was worried.”

“It shouldn’t have mattered. It was confidential.” Harry turned around and finally looked at his friend. He wasn’t happy he was standing up for her. But he wasn’t saying she was right either.

“I know! I know that now. You always wanted to be normal. You’ve told us. But I can see what you mean by even keeping some from Dumbledore now.” Ron looked apologetic.

Harry was stumped. He had never seen Ron like this. ‘When did he become so smart?’

“Eh...Thanks! I guess.”

“Soo...are you going to forgive her?” Harry couldn’t say witch answer Ron hoped for. He probably would’ve accepted whatever Harry chose right then.

Harry looked Ron in the eye, really looked. Ron was willing to except Harry’s choice no matter the outcome and what kind of complications it would have to him as a go-between Harry and Hermione.

Harry took his book bag and walked toward the stairs signalling with a look for Ron to come. He couldn’t say anything of his decision to Ron because he truly couldn’t say himself. Could he really forgive her? Would she really see what she did wrong? That she betrayed his trust?
