The Riddle Within

Severus Snape was staring at the empty seat next to Marcus when his Goddaughter walked in. Looking up he finds that she\'s holding hands with Harry Potter; the entire class goes silent and stares at them. Except for Marcus Flint; Snape notices Marcus\' eyes darken, and his breathing become shallow.

"Miss Riddle, Mr. Potter, you\'re both late." Snape\'s voice is cold.

"I\'m sorry Professor, my dad wanted to talk with us." Jessy explains softly.

Jessy knew her godfather wouldn\'t be pleased to see her with Harry, but if she brought her dad into it, he wouldn\'t bother with anything.

"Fine. Take your seats." Snape tells them, looking away.

Jessy watched Harry sit by his red-headed friend who glared at her.

\'I\'d be careful if I were you red-head. I prefer it if Harry didnt hate me because of you\'

Jessy watches the boys eyes grow wide, and then flicker with fear before he puts his head down.

"Jess." Marcus whispers.

"What? I dont have time for this." Jessy whispers back, irritated.

Just then she feels his hand on her thigh. She groans inwardly, and crosses her legs.

"Come on baby, you know I never meant to hurt you." Marcus whispers.

Again, his hand was on her thigh, moving higher. He stops when he notices Jessica\'s breathing go shallow. She squirms a little bit, but doesn\'t push him away. Marcus takes this as a good sign, and slowly slides his hand up further, noticing that she\'s not wearing anything under her skirt.

Jessy squirms when Marcus moves his hand up. She doesn\'t move it becuase she knows how mad that\'ll make him. Glancing at Harry, she notices he\'s in deep conversation with his red-headed friend.

"Mr. Weasley." Professor Snape startles the boy.

The red-head looks up with loathing while her godfather smirks at him.

"Do you know the answer?" He asks.

The red-head shakes his head and lowers his face when the Slytherins snicker.

"Twenty points from Gryffindor for not incompetence." Snape growls.

Jessy hears Marcus snicker and pushes his hand off of her leg. Marcus grabs her wrist and puts it on his the zipper of his pants. Growling, Jessy grabs her hand away from him and slaps him full in the face.

"Jessica Riddle." She hears Snape call her, but his voice distant.

"If you ever touch me again you slimy git, I\'ll make you regret it with your life." Jessy growls at him.

"Jessica!" She can hear Harry, but his voice is as distant as Snapes.

She watches Marcus cowering on the dungeon floor, his eyes revealing his terror. She relishes in that fact and steps towards him. Marcus tries to slide away from her; instead he backs himself into a wall.

"I think I should teach you a lesson Flint." She taunts, her voice low and cold.

"F...f..for..w..w..what?" He stammers.

"For ever trying to cross me." She growls, her voice echoing on the dungeon walls.

"Jessica Riddle." Her fathers voice rings clear as day.

She turns around, fire still in her eyes, glaring at her father.

"Jessy?" Harry\'s voice is wavering.

She turns to Harry, noticing the fear in his eyes. Jessy looks around the room, Snape is standing behind his desk, his wand drawn; most of the students are cowering behind their desks. She catches her reflection in a mirror sitting in a corner. Her black hair is swirling around her as if a wild wind had broken by, and her eyes look like fire, burning, dark and threatening. She looks down and notices she is barely touching the ground.

"Jessica. Stop this nonsense." Her father commands, his voice demanding.

Her anger rises at this, someone demanding her.

"Jessy, please." Harry\'s voice pleading.

Harry\'s face is the last one she sees before passing out.
