I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Chapter four
A/N : This chapter is a bit shorter, beneath 1000 words which the previous chapters were over. But instead of making the next chapter really big I decided it was for the best, and I’m also keeping my updates regularly.
If you hoped something would happen between them now you will have to wait until the next chapter, there will something something happen, maybe something more too?
Thrnbrooke : thank you for reading this story too, good to see I got some regulars :D
ElfHybrid : thanks to you too, my fellow Norwegian XD

‘You can’t be serious Harry.’ He just told Hermione what his thoughts about Draco was, he even called him by his first name once which was a big mistake, that rose her eyebrows so high Harry thought they would end where the hair began.
‘I knew it was a mistake to tell you, nobody can ever understand me.’
‘I didn’t say I don’t understand you Harry, but don’t you think you trust him too fast and easy?’
‘His father is planning to kill him, how can I not trust him?’
‘Are you even sure it was Malfoy they were talking about?’
‘Yes, Voldemort was constantly repeating his name. Voldemort was also mentioning that Draco didn’t want to take the assignment to catch me so Voldemort could kill me, what other proof do I need.’
‘But what if it’s a fake vision, like how it was with Sirius?’
‘I have learned to tell fiction and reality apart, Voldemort has tried a few times to trick me but I saw right through it.’
‘I am only telling you to be careful.’ Harry kept his mouth shut; he didn’t want to start another fight today with them.

It wasn’t until late that night that Harry realized there was only five days left; the end was reaching him too soon.
‘I see you didn’t want to wait for me outside this room as usual.’
‘Oh, I came quite early and didn’t want to be seen waiting there, I was going to stand outside but time just flew past me.’
‘Don’t worry, it’s not like I expect the golden carpet to be rolled out for me.’
‘The golden carpet?’
‘You never heard about it? The golden carpet is the one all the great wizards and witches walk on, made completely out of gold thread.’
‘Like the red carpet the muggles have.’
‘What?’
‘It’s the same thing, only that it’s red.’
‘Red? Who would want to walk on that? It’s like walking on an river of blood.’
‘Beats me; but we should discuss the plan instead of a carpet.’
‘Your right. So, were still going for the shack plan?’
‘You said you thought it was the best.’
‘Just want to be sure. Maybe you can take me there and show me around; I have to plan what I need to take with me to make it liveable.’
‘You’re such a drama queen.’
‘A what?’
‘It means you’re over exaggerating. It feels like we are talking different languages here.’
‘We are; I’m the royal and you the peasant.’
‘You mean you are the rich bastard and I’m the poor down to earth man.’
‘Something like that.’
‘If you’re done being full of yourself then lets start discussing how to get to the Whomping Willow.’
‘You’re kidding, that killer tree.’
‘It’s the only way to get there, unless you want to go to the town first and then to the shack.’
‘No, the chances of being discovered that way is far greater.’ There was a small pause where Harry tried his best to ignore Draco’s eyes, not that it was most successful attempt. ‘You’re trying to ignore me?’
‘What?’ Could Draco read minds? Harry began to think that he was talking loudly; it seemed that everyone heard his thoughts.
‘Since yesterday you try not to look at me, have I done anything?’
‘No, the problem is entirely mine.’
‘What is it?’
‘Just a problem I have with my friends; they don’t understand why I want to help you.’
‘Why do you want to help me anyway?’
‘I have told you before.’
‘Tell me again.’
‘Alright; because you don’t deserve to be killed.’
‘You believe that?’
‘Of course, it’s not your fault that your father is such a bastard.’
‘No, he was like that before I was born. I think it’s time to leave, I promised Crabbe and Goyle to meet them at midnight, and if I don’t show up they will suspect something.’ Harry couldn’t believe how fast the time went that night, it didn’t seem like they had been there more than ten minutes, but with all the silence moments and ignoring he understood the times speed.
‘All right.’
‘Good night Harry.’
‘Good night.’ He wanted d to say Draco but it was still strange to call him by his first name. Not saying his name didn’t seem to bother Draco, a few seconds after he was gone out the door and Harry was left alone.
Harry felt a little depressed while walking back to his own room, the reason for his feeling was uncertain. He discovered last night that he had hidden feelings for Draco, and knew then that they could never be; first of all because who they were, and also because nobody would ever understand, but the biggest point was that Draco would never feel the same way from him.
Maybe it was for the best, it would complicate things if they ever tried something, not that he thought it would ever work. Still depressed he went to bed, wanting to get up and hit something to get rid of the frustration he was receiving.
If you hoped something would happen between them now you will have to wait until the next chapter, there will something something happen, maybe something more too?
