Hidden Love

So, I would luffles some reviews it really does make me want to write more hell at this point I'll even take an 'it sucks stop now' just to know what some of yall are thinking this chapter hinted to another place i could take the story i guess a 'sub plot' if you want some feedback on if that would even be wanted would be great...so um yeah here's the next part.-Mouse


For what seemed like the tenth time that night Remus cursed under his breath bfeore rubbing the back of his neck, he was trying to remember what part of him and thought this was going to be a good idea and thus been talked into. Since the moment the three girls had walked down the stairs he had started to understand what a truly horrible idea this really was. He was also starting to realise he'd been tricked, they had told him it was a group event but it was quite clear that the six of them would be breaking off into groups as the night went on. Ginny with Harry, Hermonie with Ron, and Tonks with himself which was not going to work well as the night went on. The outfit they had put Tonks in wasn't helping any either normally she was covered up, maybe she was a bit ruffled here and there but almost always her body was hidden tonight however she'd chosen to go the exact opposite. The looks that the other four kept giving him didn't hide who it was meant for. As they stood in line for their tickets Remus allowed his gaze to wander over her once more when she was turned to talk to Ginny; the black skirt which stopped mid way down her thigh, the form fitting tank top, and what he had orginally thought was her normal boots but turned out to be spiked heels that simply looked like boots were all designed and worn for one reason.

To temp him.

At one time he might have but no longer. He knew she was what he should have wanted, what he should have been going after but it wasn't. Tonks wasn't the woman that haunted his thoughts day and night, she wasn't danger, and she sure as hell wasn't forbidden. Hell he felt under attack when it came to her the entire house was on her side and they didn't look as if they were going to ease up on him anytime soon. He let out a breath and looked down at his own clothes which happened to be blue jeans and a button up shirt he'd been going for simple but next to the kids he felt under dressed. He'd tried to talk Neville into going but the boy wouldn't leave his room

"Earth to Lupin" He blinked as a small hand snapped infront of his face and he blinked down to find Herm smirking up at him "We almost left you behind"

He nodded at her and fell into step behind her, he was willing to bet he was the oldest person here on a friday night which brought the night even lower on his list of good times. Forcing himself not to sigh he hautled beside Harry as the girls started to order snacks before they went to find their seats and took the moment to bring up a topic he'd meant to speak about sooner

"Harry"

"Yeah professor?"

"I have a request of you and Ron" The boy finally moved his gaze from the back of Ginny to Remus face and arched a brow at him, he was interested

"Sure, what's up."

"Do me the favor and don't repeat the things I say to you to anyone else."

That caused the boy to flush the color of Ron's hair and he rushed on to try and explain. "We meant it as a good thing, the girls were asking us for Tonks and we didn't know so we of course asked you we figured it was just girl stuff."

"What's up mate?"

"Ah, Ron kind of you to join us I was just expressing to Harry my dislike for when I tell him something and it finds its way back to the girls"

"Bloody hell." Remus smiled at that one, Ron did have a way with words.

"Just do me a favor and don't do it again, ok?"

"Sure" They said it at the same time before grinning at eachother Remus had the impression his trouble with them inregards to Tonks was far from over, he would have asked them to stop pushing it when a raised voice drew all three of them to look across towards the girls bathroom"

"You bloody prat watch where you're going!"

"Why Granger, I would have thought you had better manners then to make a scene in public I guess that's what happens when you have parents like you do." The smug voice could belong to only one wizard and for a moment Remus worried that Bella had lied to him but when he looked around the only other person that looked familiar to him turned out to be Pansy

"I hate you."

"You always did have a way with words, I'm always telling Pansy..." But Remus had already tuned the blonde out Herm could more then handel herself verbally with Draco what had him concerned was the sparks that they were making a quick look at Ron proved the boy didn't see it which mean Harry and Ginny wouldn't either. He felt oddly out of place watching Hermonie and Draco argue it reminded him to much of himself and Bella and if he was right there would be nothing but trouble ahead for the three. The sound of liquid splashing on the ground snapped him out of it and he tired not to smile to much at the site of Herm dumping her soda over the top of Draco's blonde head "Ferret"

With that she stalked off towards Ginny and Tonks and Remus once again found himself following behind the group after some debate over how far back they would sit Remus took a seat and watched as Tonks dropped down beside him a smile on her lips and she leaned over to whisper something to him "They picked a horror movie"

"A what?" He thank'd Merlin Bella wasn't around to watch him whisper back into Tonk's ear

"A horror movie, scary bloody that sort of thing."

"The chose to watch a movie that's exactly like what they've been dealing with?" Tonks giggled at his expression before shaking her head

"No, it's diffrent I promise I think this one has a monster of some kind don't worry you'll like it I promise."

He really doubted that but he didn't voice his opinnion on the matter. Out of the corner of his eye he watched a Draco stalk in the boy slid his gaze across the rows before it landed on Hermonie, his eyes narrowed before he made it a point to sit as far away from her as he could which did make Remus smile

"Something funny?"

"Hm?" He turned his attention back to Tonks to find her watching him while she twirled a strand of her still long black hair around her finger, she was about to ask him again when a voice sounded to his left and he turned to find a blonde smiling down at him

"I'm sorry to interupt but is this seat taken?"

"No it's open" She smiled at him before seating herself and Remus turned his head to look back at Tonks to find himself getting glared at, grand. "Is something wrong?"

"No."

That was all she said before turning to whisper something to Ginny and he pinched the bridge of his nose he hated dating..wait what was he saying this was not a date he'd be dead already if it had actually been a date. Infact if it didn't cause him so much trouble he would find it funny how much Bella was jealous of Tonks and Tonks just jealous.

"Oh I'm sorry" He pulled his foot under his seat and turned his attention as the blonde beside him apologized for bumping into his leg with her own

"No harm done"

"Hmph" His gaze shot back to Tonks and she was glaring at him again, Merlin forbid he speak to anyone else before he could say anything though he felta hand grab him by the arm and ynak him to his feet and the next thing he knew he was apologizing himself to the blonde as he did his best not to trample over her as Harry and Ron dragged him back out into the lobby

"Enough" He pulled his arm free and blinked at the boys "What was all that about."

"You're making Tonks mad."

He just blinked at Ron for a moment before casting a look at Harry "I havn't done anything"

"You keep talking to the blonde sir."

"I said the seat was free and told her it was ok that she'd hit my leg I hardly see the issue"

This time it was Harry who spoke up "Yeah sir but you're on..omph"

"What Harry was trying to say was that it's rude to um.."

"Ignore someone on a date? Only I'm not on a date or am I Ronald?"

Well no sir...what..Harry you tell him."

"Me!" When both boys fell silent Remus tried his best to keep his voice clam when all he wanted to do was strangle the two of them.

"Did you tell Tonks this was a date?"

"No" When Harry was able to look him in the eye he nodded his head accepting it "Then do me a favor and don't lecture me again on dating dos and don'ts I'm not on a date and everyone involved would do well to remember that" With that said he made his way back to his seat and slid into it just as the previews were starting when he heard a voice in his ear

"I hope I didn't cause any trouble"

"No of course not" He glanced at the blonde with a smile

She grinned back at him before touching his arm and he felt Tonks stiffen on the otherside of him "Oh good I was worried." As she turned back to the movie he allowed his gaze to slide over her, she was around the same age as Tonks which still meant she was a hell of alot younger then he was. Her blonde hair was wavey and framed a pretty face however he didn't bother to look lower then that because that would risk both the wrath of her and Tonks. His train of thought however shut down when he felt Tonk's hand snake into lap and his head jerked around to look down into her smirking eyes.

"What are you doing"

"Just relax Remus"

She had just started to move her hand when he heard the blonde's voice in his ear again "My name's Gabriella but my friends call me Bell" He almost got whiplash at the speed his head snapped back around to stare at her and as his eyes took in the beautiful smirking face he borrowed a phrase from Ron.

"Bloody Hell"
