“Harry, I think it was reckless of you to go tearing after a Death Eater!” Hermione Granger hissed urgently into her friend’s ear at breakfast one morning. Ron still had a stunned expression on his freckled face as he looked at the two of him. Hermione continued regardless, “The Dark Lord is alive again and you know as well as anyone that he wants you dead most of all.”
“What would you have had me do, Hermione? I wasn’t about to let him sneak into some room and kill anyone else either.” Harry whispered back, flicking his eyes around to make sure no one was really paying much attention to them. “I wonder where he is right now…”
“More than likely with Professor Snape.” Hermione replied as though it were obvious, “You said he kept calling Professor Snape ‘Master’. I wonder why…”
“I really don’t want to know the answer to that one.” Ron chipped in, taking a gulp of his pumpkin juice, “Why anyone would be fond of Snape I’ll never know.”
“Oh, stop it, Ron! I have a feeling this Seneco was leaving a lot out of his story, especially about Professor Snape. Maybe the Professor was the one that finally helped him escape his father, or helped to keep the Dark Lord from finding him again.” Hermione murmured, gazing down at her plate with creased brows.
Harry looked at her and could almost see the gears cranking in her head. He had to admit to himself that a lot of things certainly were not adding up, but he believed what Seneco had told him thus far. He didn’t know why he believed him, just that he did. “Well, we need to get to Potions anyway…” He murmured, “Wonderful class that it is. Maybe with Seneco, Snape won’t be such a pain.”
“Professor Snape, Harry, and you should be more respectful to him considering all he does for the order and all the danger he puts himself in.” Hermione scoffed.
“Trust Hermione to defend the nastiest teacher in school.” Ron chuckled, pacing out of the great hall with them both, “Maybe we’ll see this Seneco finally…”
“Personally, I have a lot of questions for him. How could he run away if he was only three years old? Children don’t think about things like that, even if they are being abused, right?” Hermione questioned, looking at her two companions before she sighed in exasperation, “How did he conveniently run into Lily Potter? Why did they accept him so easily? Can’t you both see that there is so much that he left out? Harry, you really should have asked more questions when he was telling his story.”
“It isn’t like I had much of a chance to really think about it, Hermione. I mean, I had just found old Voldemort had a son, and that the son knew my parents.” Harry murmured to his friends, keeping his voice low as a group of third year Hufflepuffs walked by, “I wonder why he left so much out, you know? What is he hiding?”
“And why is he so close to Snape?” Ron commented as they paced down into the dungeons and took their seats in the potions classroom.
Severus Snape was already there, standing by the board in his dark robes and over coat. He scowled deeply as the last student took their seat and turned to the board, tapping it with his wand so that writing began to spread across it, “Today we will be working on a bone mending potion called Emendo. The ingredients and instructions are now on the board. Get your supplies and begin…” As swiftly as he complete the instructions he began to stalk the room like a prowling leopard, his robes billowing behind him.
Hermione was deep in concentration, working by herself today as she began to meticulously peel her ficus roots. She did not notice at first the Potions Master standing so close to her until she backed up and brushed against him. She froze, blinking and turning to look up at him. She couldn’t help but blush. In truth, Hermione had always thought the professor rather charming, even if it was in a dark, sarcastic way. Still, she never wanted him to know that because she knew his utterly disgusted rejection of her would sting deeply.
“You should be careful when you cut the ficus roots, Miss Granger. Remember that they must be finely chopped.” The Potions Master murmured, his dark, alluring voice washing over Hermione.
Quickly, the girl whipped around to look at her work with a quickly muttered, “Yes, Professor.” Hermione relaxed only when the professor moved away, letting out her held breath. His voice had been like rich chocolate, too much and one could drown themselves in its pleasures.

Seneco stepped out after the students had left, watching Severus set the samples they had given him in a cupboard by his desk. Seneco was dressed in a fresh pair of dark green robes and his ebony mask still glinted on his face. He had bathed, and pulled his hair back, and was quite content to watch from the shadows as his Master taught. “I find it interesting that you paid that girl so much attention.” He commented, grinning beneath his mask.
Severus turned to regard his young pupil curiously, “What girl?”
“The girl with the… auburn hair? You called her Miss Granger.” Seneco commented.
Severus rolled his eyes and went to sink down at his desk, tipping his cheek against his fingertips, “I have no interest in the insufferable know-it-all that is Hermione Granger, Seneco.”
Seneco lifted his hands as if to show weakness before he sat opposite of Severus. He crossed his legs, his strangely angled feet showing for a moment before he settled his robes down again, “If you say. I think you are lying to yourself, Master Snape. I’ve known perhaps deeper and longer than any other. You are interested in her.”
“Seneco, why does this catch your attention so? Even if I were interested in Miss Granger, which I am not, it shouldn’t be of any concern to you.” Severus’ voice had a slight sigh to it, as though he thought everything Seneco said was insane.
“It catches my attention because the girl seems smart. You always talked about never wanted to settle with anyone that could not stimulate your intellect. She obviously does.” Seneco rose and paced to the door, “You need to stop being along so much. You cannot spend your free time with me forever. I am grown now, and though you still are my Master, there is only so much you can teach me.”
Severus rose, pressing his hands to his desk, “Where are you going, Seneco? You should not go out into the halls with students about. They will ask questions that you should not answer.”
“Don’t worry. No one will see me…” Seneco slipped out silently.
“That boy is becoming to rebellious.” Severus grumbled, leaning back in his chair. With a soft sigh he rose and paced to his private chambers, “And he is growing up too fast.”
Severus slipped to his desk that sat before a tapestry in his private library. The tapestry was an ancient one, depicting a black unicorn being bitten by an equally black snake. The story was that only one black unicorn had existed in the entire world, bitten by a magical specie of snake that had since died out. The black unicorn, however, was said to be eternal with its magic unbound. It was an old wizard’s folktale, and Severus only had the tapestry to keep the draft from seeping through the wall.
Slowly, the Potions Master sank down at his desk, and picked up a picture frame there. It was of him with a young masked boy held onto his shoulder. He was smiling and the boy, Seneco, was waving at the photographer. Seneco had truly been Severus’ pride and joy; his son through and through more than the Dark Lord’s. Severus had even given Seneco his name. Gently, Severus set the frame on his desk, his thoughts turning to the frizzy haired student that currently occupied his morning class every day.
Seneco had hit the nail on the head when he said Severus was interested in Hermione Granger. It was a recent development with her budding body and expanding mind. In truth, Severus had never found another student beyond Seneco with an intellect like Hermione’s. Her physical form had blossomed into full breasts and flaring hips as well, and he had to be careful when he stood close to her in class because her scent would harden him in an instant.
A soft moan escaped his lips and he pushed his chair back from his desk, looking down at the sudden tent in his robes. He frowned slightly before he lifted his robes and slid his pants down enough for his cock to spring out. He was quite large, and he knew this, a smirk playing with his lips as he began to stroke himself slowly. Regardless of his attraction to Hermione, she was still a student, and such a relationship would only get him into severe trouble. Still, hadn’t she blushed when she bumped into him today? He grunted softly, his hand working faster as his mind wandered. He let his head fall back as he erupted, his seed spilled onto his hand and splattered across his desk. If Miss Granger were interested in him he could use that as an advantage in the near future.
