Could It Be?

\" Mum, Dad...I\'ve made my decision.\" I said. \" I\'m not going back with you. I am free to be who I am here.\"
\" You don\'t have a choice.\" Mum said.
\" Sure I do.\" I said. \" Professor Dumbledore even told me I do.\"
\" Mr. and Mrs. Wallace with all do respect, Lacy is one of the top wit--students at our school.\" Harry said. \" It would be a terrible loss to everybody if she leaves.\"
\" Who are you trying to fool? You want my daughter for one thing and one thing only.\" My father said.
\" That\'s not true.\" Harry said.
\" Mum, Dad, I think you should both leave today.\" I said. \" I don\'t want you ruining Harry\'s, Sirius\'s and I\'s winter break. And that\'s all you seem to be doing.\"
\" We\'re not going anywhere.\" Mum said.
\" Alright well then hope you can keep yourself content, because Harry and I have plans.\" I said. We left and went out to the grounds to walk around. There was snow everywhere. \" It\'s beautiful out here.\"
\" You ok?\" Harry asked.
\" Yeah.\" I said. \" Just mad that they would say that to you.\"
\" I don\'t care.\" He said.
\" Bloody muggles.\" I smiled. Harry started tickling me. \" No.\" I laughed. \" Harry stop!\" He finally stopped, and I lay in the snow trying to catch my breath, breathing heavy. He lay over top of me. I pulled him down into a kiss.
\" I love you so much.\" He said.
\" I love you too.\" I said. We stayed outside for most of the afternoon, finally going in because I was soaked and freezing, from laying in the snow with him. We went to the common room, and I went to change as did Harry. I changed into sweats and a baggy t-shirt. The house elves had lit a fire in the common room. We sat on the couch together I cuddled up to him. Right before we both fell asleep Harry whispered something amazing to me.
\" Lacy?\" He asked.
\" Yeah?\" I asked.
\" Will you marry me?\" He asked. I paused.
\" Yes.\" I said. \" Of course.\" We kissed, and then cuddled up together and fell asleep.

Winter break came and went, and the next thing we knew it was January. Harry and I had talked to Professor Dumbledore about our engagement, and my parents disapproval. He said that he would do the ceremony, and that it would be his honor. We were walking down the stairs when I gripped Harry\'s arm.
\" You ok?\" He asked.
\" Just dizzy that\'s all.\" I said.
\" I\'m taking you to Madame Pomfrey.\" He said.
\" I\'m fine.\" I said. \" I probably just stood up to fast back there.\"
\" I\'m taking you to see Madame Pomfrey.\" He said.
\" Fine the only way I\'ll go is if you go to class, I\'ll go down there by myself.\" I said.
\" What if--\" I cut him off.
\" My way or no way at all. I won\'t have you getting in trouble because of me.\" I said.
\" Meet up with me after class?\" He asked, with a defeated sigh.
\" Of course.\" I said. We kissed quickly, then I went to see Madame Pomfrey.
\" Mr. Potter have you come down here?\" She asked, after running some tests, and getting the results. Magical medicine was so much quicker than muggle medicine.
\" Yes.\" I told her. \" I told him I probably just stood up to fast, but he refused to hear it.\"
\" You ought to be glad he did.\" She said.
\" Why?\" I asked. \" What\'s wrong with me?\" Now a little panicked.
\" Don\'t panic dear.\" She said. \" You and Mr. Potter are expecting a baby. In about 8 months if I\'m right on my calculations.\"
\" A baby?!?\" I asked. She nodded. I sat there for a little while stunned. I met Harry after class like I said I would.
\" Did you go see Madame Pomfrey?\" He asked.
\" Yeah.\" I said, quietly.
\" Well?\" He asked.
\" Uh...maybe you should hear it from her.\" I said. We went down to the infirmary, and Harry and I waited to speak to Madame Pomfrey.
\" Madame Pomfrey, is Lacy ok?\" He asked her.
\" Miss Wallace is just fine. You two have some great news.\" She said. \" Mr. Potter, your fiance here is expecting a baby.\" I looked away from him, and he took my hand.
\" Lacy?\" He asked. I didn\'t say anything. He took his free hand, putting it to my cheek, turning my face towards his. \" What do you think?\"
\" I love you. This is obviously what is meant for us. I\'m carrying our love inside of me.\" I said.
\" I love you.\" He said, we kissed.
\" Now that\'s what I like to see. Young love, bonding together in a happy magical time.\" She said. We thanked her and went back to our common room.
