Chapter 4: Just some fun....and time for thinking
A.N.: This chapter is just for some fun......Harry is there...but not really in the mood to sing or dance, and yes I know you don\'t always have songs that relate to characters in a story I\'m aware of that, but when you try to think of a song yourself, don\'t you always think of one that relates to your life first? Or one that you would want to relate to your life? Just think on that for a bit.
Anyway, thanks to everyone that reviewed, I enjoy doing this one too, although it is a little harder trying to catch the words to a song while listening to it....it is still fun for me, now please, as always, go Read, Enjoy, and Review!
Chapter 4: Just some fun....and time for thinking
The next night Harry just sat back, thinking while the others played with the machine, this time, Parvati and Lavender took the stage and giggled at each other before thinking the song, (Girls just wanna have fun...and I think the singer is Cyndi Lauper...but I am not sure.)
\"I come home in the morning light
My mother says when you gonna live your life right
Oh mother dear we\'re not the fortunate ones
And girls they want to have fun

They both laughed as some of the other girls joined in and the boys rolled their eyes.
\"The phone rings in the middle of the night
My father yells what you gonna do with your life

But girls they want to have fun

When the working day is done
Girls-- they want to have fun

By now even Pansy Parkinson was singing along with them, (considering she REALLY hates Gryffindors, that\'s saying a lot.)

They jumped down, giggling and even Snape in the shadows rolled his eyes at them, //children, bah!//
Two of the younger Slytherins stepped up and thought of a song, just for some fun tonight, (Shut up, by Simple Plan...can\'t tell I like em can ya?)

They stepped on the arrows, not really caring if they missed them, just enjoying it, twin boys having fun...on a DDR machine....almost as fun as in the mall with, with a big audience of fellow students, some who were singing with them...other\'s that were looking at them curiously, never having heard that song before.

They grinned at each other as they switched dance pads, mid jump, and actually managed to keep going without screwing up.

Here even some of the confused ones started to sing, some giggling as they did so, just getting into it with them, the fun was contagious for boys and girls.

Snape looked curiously at Harry where he sat next to Draco, who surprisingly had brought with him a bottle of fire whiskey and was actually sharing with him. Harry had managed to smile with the last song, but he still hadn\'t said more than three word at the same time, and for some reason this bothered Severus Snape more than he was willing, or ready to admit.
Draco refilled his cup, \"you not going to dance tonight?\"
\"No, not tonight.\"
\"Oh, o.k. tomorrow then?\"
\"Yeah, maybe tomorrow.\"
A couple of Gryffindors, namely Dean Thomas and a seventh year named Ray stepped up and thought of a song, (Don’t The Girls All Get Prettier At Closin’ Time?, by Mickey Gilley)
\"One two one two three go
All the girls all get prettier at closing time
Don\'t they all begin to look like movie stars?
All the girls all get prettier at closing time
When the change starts taking place it puts a glow on every face
Of the fallen angels of the back street bars
I could rate them on a scale from one to ten
Looking for a nine but eight could work right in
A few more drinks and I might slip to five or even four
But when tomorrow morning comes
And I wake up with a number one
I swear I’ll never do it anymore\"
The guys started laughing, while some of the girls \'humphed\' but didn\'t hide the smile on their faces, Snape just shook his head from the shadows.
The guys snickered as images of bar maids appeared on the screen behind the arrows.

They bowed as they got off the machine and most of the guys clapped theatrically, \"Thank you thank you, no really you are too kind.\" they impersonated a famous persona while walking to sit down.

\"NAH one more round, come on, anyone, dance with me!\"
Pansy stepped up with Millencent, both drunker than a pet coon, and had to shake their heads to think of the song clearly, then discovered they were actually too drunk to get the machine to work. \"DAMN!\"
\"Time to call it a night everyone, you have 10 minutes to get to your dorms.\"
\"How\'d you get 10 Harry?\"
\"I paid Peeves and gave him a reason to bug Filch.\"
Everyone filed out of the room and back to theirs, \"So, Harry, same time tomorrow night?\"
Harry looked up with glazed eyes, \"sure.\"
\"Harry, I\'m kinda worried about you.....you seem kinda out of it.\"
\"I\'m find just thinking.\"
\"It\'s about Snape isn\'t it?\"
Harry nodded solemnly, \"you should head to your dorm Draco....Peeves may accidentally lead him this way.\"
\"One of these days Harry, I am gonna sit you down and have a long talk with you.\"
Harry managed a half a smile, \"someday, Draco.\"
They each walked out their separate ways, Draco shaking his head as he went.
Snape stepped out of the shadows.....\"What is eating away at you Harry?\" He shook his head...\"DO I even have the right to care or ask?\" He used the fire to floo to his rooms and silently got ready for bed, thoughts of one Harry Potter dancing....(pun intended) in his head.
