Chapter 4
Tuning it Down
You know, it\'s worrying how news can travel so fast. It seemed that by the end of the lunch hour, everyone knew about what I did in Potions class. And if that wasn\'t bad enough, I could just feel Snape glaring daggers into my back. Not to mention there were a lot of people either winking, smiling, laughing, or pointing at me.
\"Hey Hermione? We need to talk.\" I quickly whispered to her.
\"Ok, when?\"
\"Right now. If that\'s O.K?\"
\"Sure\" She said.
We both got up and went to her room.
\"Ok, what did you want to talk about?\" Hermione asked.
\"What I had do today at Potions class.\" I said, as best I could without sounding angry.
\"What about it?\" She said, looking puzzled.
\"What about it?! Hermione! I have never been more embarrassed in my whole life!!!\" I yelled.
\"I thought it went well.\"
I gave Hermione a long look of disbelief.
\"What? You should of seen the look on Professor Snape\'s face when you sat down on his lap.\" She said with a hint of held back laughter.
\"That\'s what wrong \'Mione.\" I said falling down in a chair and sighing, \"Sitting in Prof. Snape\'s lap. I think it\'s just too much.\"
\"Winter,\" Hermione said, sitting down next to me, \"Snape probably wouldn\'t be able tell seduction from simple misbehaving to save his life.\"
I snorted my agreement.
\"Fine, what would you like to do then?\" Hermione asked, sounding slightly annoyed.
\"Tune it down a bit!\"
\"All right, but you still need to flirt a lot.\" Hermione said.
\"Deal.\" I replied holding out a hand, which Hermione shook.
\"By the way Winter, how far does Fred want you to go with Snape?\" She asked cautiously.
I held up a finger and a open mouth, but nothing came out. Because Fred had failed to mention how he did want me to go.
\"Good question.\" I said after a few seconds.
\"Um, Winter,\" Hermione gasped, as if suddenly struck by a horrible idea, \"you don\'t think he wants you to sleep with Snape, do you?\" She asked.
\"......... WHAT?!?!?!?!\" I shrieked, \"If he does, I\'ll curse him so bad, that his mum will finally be tell him and George apart.\"
\"Well then, you better ask him.\"
\"I will on Saturday. We\'re were planing to meet at Hogsmeade.\"
Suddenly an idea struck me.
\"I\'ve got it!\" I exclaimed.
\"Got what?\" Hermione asked.
\"A way to keep Fred from making me do...anything I don\'t want to do.\"
I quickly told her what I was thinking.
\"You should have been sorted into Slytherin, you know that?\" Hermione smirked.
\"I know.\" I replied, smirking back.
\"And now it\'s time to get you ready for detention.\"
I groaned. Hermione had that look in her eye again. I was doomed. Could things possibly get any worse?

sorry it took me so long to post the next chapter. It cause I kept on trying to post a chapter, only it wouldn\'t post. Well the reason for that, it\'s I didn\'t put a chapter title, so I feel really bad that it\'s been a month(or so) since I posted. Anyway...
