Hallowe'en Ball
Hey All welcome to my first ever Fan Fiction, most of the characters are not mine no matter how much I would love them to be. The only character that is mine is Aphrodite Taylor, she is mine all mine, he he. Hope you enjoy.
Hallowe\'en Ball
The end of October was drawing nearer and one subject was on everyone\'s lips, the Hallowe\'en Ball,bledbledore had told all the staff they needed to have dates, Aphrodite was so excited beyond belief about this, she had no idea how she was going to go with obvious choice would either be Remus or Sirius, they\'d both asked her at the same time, that kind of put her on the spot so she said she\'d think about it. She did actually think about it on one hand she could go with Sirius seeing as no one makes her laugh like he does but then again he does have the tendency to stray and follow other ladies, no member of the female staff wound be safe she thought to herself, she started to smile and then giggled to herself.
\"Aphrodite? Are you ok?\" came a cold calm voice from behind her
\"Oh Professor Snape, yeah Im fine, just thinking about something\"
\"You can call me Severus, would you like to tell me what you found so funny?\" he said smiling
\"Well I was thinking about the ball and who I was going with, Sirius or Remus, and something I thought of made me laugh\"
Secretly Severus had hoped they hadn\'t asked her, for once he\'d quite liked to have had a pretty young lass on his arms. He wasn\'t about to tell her this though, but he did have a fondness for her after their tree incident, he also liked the way she stood up to him on a few occasions and on that night in the hospital wing when she slept beside him he felt wanted.
\"I see, which one you going with?\"
\"Remus, he\'s a bit less hyper\" she laughed
\"Yeah he\'s probably the best one to go with\" he tried to sound happy for her
\"Who are you going with? or are you not going?\" she asked
\"No one, no ones daft enough, well except Sinistra, so i\'ll ask her to go I reckon, wont hold my breath though\" he sighed
Aphrodite smiled a sympathetic smile and wrapped her arms round him, he smiled and hugged her back, they soon let go though when Sinistra walked past with Sirius in tail, he was asking her to the ball, Severus started to walk off until Aphrodite stopped him and informed him that she had turned down Sirius. She practically pushed Severus into Sinistra\'s arms and for the first time ever she saw him blush. It must have been good news because he was seen smiling later on in the day and he was in a good mood, well as good a mood as Severus could muster.
It was the morning of the ball and the students couldn\'t concentrate on their work in Muggle Studies, even Hermione couldn\'t concentrate which was a rare thing, apparently Ron and Harry had had a big argument over who was taking her, Harry had won that argument, but Hermione promised Ron she\'d go with him to the Yule Ball. After classes finished she was half expecting Remus to drop in but he never, so she decided to take her paperwork to her room and get ready for the ball.
Remus was waiting at the bottom of the stairs for Aphrodite and when she came into view she was a beautiful site, she wore a long black dress, that defined all her natural curves and she had changed her hair from dark brown to black. As she walked down the stairs towards him she stared to grin and stood next to him and said she needed a drink. A few glasses of punch later and she dragged Remus onto the dance floor despite him saying he couldn\'t dance, he wasn\'t that bad actually. Everyone commented on how nice a couple they looked. Near the end of the night Aphrodite became tired and rested her head on Remus\'s shoulders, she started to look around and shw Sew Severus with Sinistra, she had made him dance just like Aphrodite had done to Remus. Aphrodite had to laugh when she saw who Sirius was with, he was with none other then Rolanda Hooch, she was making him regret going to the ball with him.
After the ball had ended Remus took Aphrodite outside for fresh air, they sat under the oak tree, about half hour later she started to shiver so he took off his jacket and wrapped it round her and cuddled up to her. They spent ages talking and she started to fall sleep so she said she was going in and he got up and offered to walk her back to her room. On their way back they passed Sirius, when asked what he was doing he said he was hiding from Rolanda. Finally they got to Aphrodite\'s room, Remus said goodbye and started to walk off, Aphrodite grabbed him back and said thanks for taking her to the ball and he smiled, it was a nice warm smile, it made her feel happy so she leant over and kissed him on the neck and then on the lips, he kissed her back.
\"Ahem...Good night was it you two?\" said a sarcastic dry voice
\"Severus! shouldn\'t you be with Sinistra?\" said Aphrodite with a grin
Severus shuddered and Remus smiled, kissed Aphrodite on the cheek and said goodnight to her and Severus. Aphrodite walked into her room, Severus followed, she looked at him and asked him what the hell he was doing, he said he needed to talk to her.
\"Well, what are you waiting for Severus, talk away...\" she said impatiently
\"I...well...thing is..I want to tell you that...\" he started to go red and stuttered a bit.
