Chapter 31

Draco knew he shouldn’t have been nervous, but here he was, standing before Albus Dumbledore ram rod straight. He had Harry, Ron, and Thomas beside him as his best men, and he still wanted to bite his nails, and Malfoys never bit their nails. He thought to himself, ‘Get a grip Malfoy, you guys are already married. You can handle this.’

Everyone looked up when the music started. The first thing everyone saw was a cute little girl sprinkling rose peddles on the floor. The next person was a little boy carrying the rings on a gold pillow.

When the children reached the front, they turned to watch for the bride to do her march. Everything went quiet, as soon as everyone saw the bridesmaids, the wedding march started.

First came Stevie. She was wearing a silver floor length silk gown with tiny diamond studs sewn into the fabric. She walked quietly down the aisle, with silk silver slippers on her feet. Her hair was put up in tiny rings on top of her head, held up with a beautiful butterfly tiara.

Then came Lavender. She wore an emerald green floor length silk gown, with the same tiny diamonds sewn into it, with the same slippers on her feet, but in green. Lavenders hair was left down, and straight. But one side of her hair was pinned up with a tiny diamond studded butterfly barrette.

The music stopped again when the ladies stopped in front of the children.

The music started again, and then everyone turned to watch the next part. Hermione stood in the arch way. She was dressed in a long silver silk gown that trailed along the floor. The dress had tiny emeralds sewn into it, and had diamond studded straps. On her feet were green slippers with one inch heels, and tiny silver butterflies on the toes. Around her neck was a choker of a butterfly. She decided to wear her hair down, with tight curls.

All three of the ladies carried small gold candles, in silver trays, in the palm of their hands. It was so they could light the right path for Draco and Ginny during their time together. (Ginny thought of that idea)

Next came Ginny. She was the most beautiful woman in the room. Draco couldn’t see Arthur walking beside his daughter. He couldn’t hear Molly crying tears of joy. He only saw the incredible woman that was walking towards him. Him, he couldn’t believe it. She was his, not Potter’s, not anyone else’s but his.

Everyone watched as Ginny walked slowly towards Draco. She wore a dress that any princess would envy.

Ginny’s dress could be considered a renaissance style dress. The gown was crème colored with white lace and pearls embroidered into the sleeves, around the bodice, and down the skirt. The gown had silk cords laced down the back of the bodice. The sleeves started at the side of the shoulder. They were wrist length and flared out at the bottom. The train to the dress stretched out on the ground about five feet.

Draco thought he was going to pass out before she got to him.

Her vale was made of the same lace that was on her dress, but the vale was held in place by a Diamond and emerald encrusted crown small enough to fit just on top of her head. Around her neck was a choker made of lace and diamond, with an emerald butterfly hanging just from the diamond.

Draco looked down for just a moment, and saw something that made him forget about his own set of butterflies in his stomach. Ginny in all of her splendid beauty this day, wasn’t wearing any shoes. Not that anyone else could see, because the gown was really long, but when Ginny lifted the front, so she wouldn’t trip, Draco noticed it.

Ginny winked when she noticed what Draco was smiling about, she knew her husband would be nervous, so she decided to do something to help relieve the nervousness. Besides she thought, ‘It’s helping me too.’

Draco took her small hands into his own nervous clammy ones once she was in front of him, and he whispered, “No shoes my love?”
“I love you” was all she said. His heart lifted to the heavens, she was his angel.
“I love you too, now let’s get married.”

It wasn’t until after the ceremony that people found out that Ginny didn’t wear shoes to her own wedding. Everyone thought it funny except for her mother.

It was such a beautiful and magical night, but people started to get tired, so Draco and Ginny met people at the door of the reception room and bade them good night.

When the last person left that was involved in the ‘picture’ taking, Draco whispered in Ginny’s ear, “Are you ready for the wedding night, my wife?” Draco’s smile was very sexy, and very evil. The way she liked it.

Turned to him and leaned into him, putting her arms around his neck, and nipping at his ear lobe, and saying in a low throaty voice. “Yes my husband, anything for you.”

This chapter has been corrected. I reread some of the chapters, and found this one to be the worst. Next chapter will be the end. I hope you have enjoyed.
