Potions
Potions was the last class of the day for the Slytherins and Gryffindors. Hermione turned the corner to walk through the hall to the dungeon and smacked into Draco Malfoy. She dropped the books that she was holding, but didn’t bend to pick them up right away. She was staring at Draco, her mind running through what she had dreamed the night before. Their eyes locked for a few seconds before he sneered “What are you staring at, you beaver?” laughing at her teeth, although she had reduced them in size several years ago.
She came to her senses and bent down to pick up her books, blushing furiously. She kept telling herself that there was no way that he could tell what she was thinking, so she should just ignore it. He turned and walked away and she hurried after him, mentally yelling at herself for feeling turned on just from seeing him.
Draco strided into the classroom, confident that his trick had worked last night. He had seen her blush as she bent to get her books. And there was something in her eyes when she looked at him… he knew she was thinking about her “dream” the night before. He must be better than he thought! He shouldn’t have doubted his powers. His father taught him well. He was going to have fun in potions today.

”You’re pretty smart, especially for a mudblood girl,” Draco told Hermione, as she diced the mandrake root into the perfect size.
“Why Draco,” she smiled, in a fake sweet way, “is that a compliment that just came out of your mouth?”
“Well, you know, every now and then, when someone deserves it, I can give praise where it’s due,” he smiled at her.
She smiled back, rolling her eyes, wondering why he was being so nice to her today. Well, nice in comparison to how he usually was. He never let the mudblood thing go, but she was so used to hearing it from him, it didn’t even phase her.
She added the next ingredient to the cauldron and looked over at Draco to ask what was next. He was resting his chin in his hand, his elbow propped up on the desk, and his index and middle finger separated across his lips. He was absent-mindedly licking his lips. She jumped when she looked at him… it looked exactly like what people did when they did the “eating out” sign. She always thought it was dumb when guys did it, like they thought they were hot stuff or something. But seeing Draco like that, not even knowing he was making such a suggestive sign brought back vivid images of her previous dreams. She wondered… if it was that good in a dream, how would it be in reality? ‘I bet he’s amazing in bed,’ she thought to herself.
Draco watched Hermione’s reflection in the glass of Snape’s supply cabinet. He saw her visibly jump when he licked his lips. Without even realizing it she did the same as she stared at him. He saw the mixture of thoughts run across her face. Oh what fun it was to torture her like this! She would never admit that she wanted him, even to herself- yet. But she did. He could tell. She was going to be a lot of fun.
“Alright, so next is a drop of dragon blood,” he said, as if the 10 seconds of silence had never happened. She blinked rapidly, as if to clear her vision. “Here, it’s over by you,” he said and leaned across the desk, placing his hand on her thigh to keep him from falling over as he reached for the tiny bottle. As he straightened up, he left his hand on her thigh and pretended to look over the directions. He saw her head drop and stare at his hand on her lap.
“Umm… excuse me?” she questioned, looking at him.
“What is it?” he asked, as if he had no idea. She glanced down at his hand on her leg and gave him a weird look. He squeezed her leg gently before removing his hand. “Yeah, you know you liked it,” leering at her, wiggling his eyebrows
“Malfoy, that’s disgusting!” she said angrily, and with too much believability for his taste. The class ended and they went their separate ways, one wondering why their attitude was so changed and the other plotting ways to keep it that way.
***Sorry so short, but I don’t have time today to finish it. More is coming. Please Review!!!***
