Lies

A/N: Here is another chapter please read and review


The first thing Hermione became aware of was two very angry men arguing with each other and it took her a minute to realize who they were. “Will you two please stop fighting?” She turned her head and saw that she had no clue where she was.

“Oh Hermione your awake. How do you feel?”

“I don’t know give me a minute to figure that out.” She struggled to sit up and she got a better look around. “Where am I?”

“You are at my apartment in the city.” Severus said from behind her.

Hermione looked at him and saw that he was still very angry. When she tried to stand up he pushed her back down. “You will sit there and rest for a little while; you are already putting to much stress on my baby.”

Hermione’s head snapped around to glare at Severus “What the hell are you talking about?”

“I told him not to do it.” Jacob said with anger and regret in his voice.

“Jacob what did you tell him not to do?”

“I did a pregnancy test on you, because I am not the best at that I was not able to tell the sex of the baby, but was able to do the basic wand test and it told me that you are indeed pregnant.”

“I can not believe you violated my privacy that way.” She yelled and grabbed her wand off the table before Apparating away from the apartment.

“I told you not to do it. I told you she would be angry.” Jacob said to Severus before he himself Apparted away.

Severus sat down he didn’t think what he did was so bad, but he also didn’t think Hermione would react the way she did. After Hermione left the night they had sex it didn’t take him long to realize that they didn’t use any anti-pregnancy potions and at first he was terrified that she would be pregnant, but the more he thought about it the more excited he became and he realized that he really did want to be a father.

Hermione stormed around her apartment occasionally kicking or throwing something, but that didn’t help with her anger. “I can’t believe that Severus Snape could do something so wrong.” She thought to her self. When there was a knock at the door she walked purposefully towards it hoping that Snape was on the other side so she could kill him. She was only a little disappointed to see her brother standing there.

“I just wanted to make sure you were ok.”

“I am ok I guess. Planning ways to kill Severus Snape that won’t get me sent to Azkaban.” She smiled when her brother smirked

“Come lets sit down I will help you with those plans.” They laughed together and Hermione felt a little better. “I know it is none of my business since we only just met, but what are you planning to do with the pregnancy.

Hermione smiled a little and put her hand on her still flat tummy. “I don’t really know what exactly I want to do, but I do know one thing, I already love this baby.”

“I want you to know that if you need anything at all don’t hesitate to come to me.”

“Thank you very much Jacob. Will you come with me? There are a couple people I want you to meet.” When he agreed Hermione took his had and Apparted to the burrow.

“Wow this place is awesome.” Jacob said with awe in his voice and Hermione laughed

“I agree with you there. I love this place; it belongs to Arthur and Molly Weasley. This is where they raised their six sons and one daughter and because it is Sunday you will get to meet everyone.” Hermione tugged on his hand and led him up to the house where she knocked on the door and was hollered at to just come in.

“Hermione dear it is so good to see you. It’s been to long.”

Hermione laughed “Molly I was here two weekends ago.”

“Still that is much too long, and who is this, a boyfriend?”

“No Molly this is my brother, I think I have a long story to tell. Is Harry, Ginny and Ron here?”

“Yeah they are in the den playing with James and little Artie.”

Hermione thanked Molly and walked towards the den where she saw Harry and Ginny with their twin sons James and Arthur. They looked up and called out a greeting when Hermione entered the room. “I have a lot to tell you guys.” Hermione said and sat down to tell her story. A story that has turned her life upside down and which had an unpredictable future. When she was done with the story about her new family she decided to tell them about the baby.

“Ok now one more thing, but Harry and Ron you need to stay over there and don’t move” Hermione said pointing to the couch and telling them to give her their wands.

“Hermione what’s going on?” Harry asked curiosity and concern in his voice.

“You guys are my best friends and I think you deserve the truth. I am pregnant.” Her friends stared at her in shock before Ron finally spoke up.

“Who is the father?”

“That is why I took away your wands. Severus Snape is the father of my baby.” Hermione braced her self for the blow up especially from Ron and was surprised to hear laughter.

“Good joke Hermione, now be serious who is the baby’s father.” When she just stared at him he slowly became paler and paler. “You can’t possible mean you had sex with that… that.” He couldn’t even finish he was so stunned.

“I didn’t mean for it to happen Ronald, and besides he is actually pretty good in that area.” Hermione and Ginny both laughed when all three men in the room covered their ears and yelled ewwww.

“Hermione are you happy?” Ginny asked

“Yeah actually I think I am, but I am also confused and just a little stressed. In about a week I found out I was kidnapped and adopted, I have a huge family, but I also still have my mum and dad who are probably hurting right now because I won’t talk to them and I am pregnant with Severus Snape’s baby.”

“Hermione I am begging you please stop saying that.” Ron begged his best friend and honorary sister.

“What are you planning to do?” Ginny asked

“Well the first thing I need tot do is go talk to my mum and dad. I know they lied to me my whole life, but they did love me.” Hermione looked at her brother and smiled. “Then I would like to meet my other family.” Jacob smiled and put his arm around Hermione in a half hug.

When Jacob and Hermione got up to leave a short while later Ginny pulled her into a hug. “Hermione always remember that you are welcome in this house. We are just another family for you. We love you Hermione.”

“I love you guys too” Hermione said before she left the house.
