Twenty Nine
AN: If I've calculated the pages of my stories correctly Harry should be destroying Voldemort, and returning with the others back to his own time line in the next three or four chapters. I have no idea what or if they do have any middle names, so I decided to make up my own.
The Quartet Meet Lily And The Marauder's
Chapter Twenty Nine: Lily And Petunia Expecting Mothers.
It was the middle of March and another year had gone by, if everything went as planned Harry and the other members of the quartet would be going home in exactly a year. It would be a day remaining to Christmas by the time they got home, as they had left in the first week of October and it would be two and half years by the time Harry destroyed Voldemort for the final time.
Dumbledore had estimated three years but hopefully they would be able to shorten their stay by two months. They were six months into their auror training, Petunia was six months into her second year of training. Petunia and Peter would be getting married in less then two weeks. Lily was four and a half months pregnant.
Now at the age of nineteen all four of the quartet had changed a lot compared to when they first arrived. Harry along with James had both grown their hair just above their upper arms, as has both Ron and Remus. All the guys now had hair passed their shoulder blades, it was like a theme between all the males in their group.
Harry was now his full height of six foot, or in Ron's case six foot two inches. when Harry had only been five foot eight and Ron had been five foot ten inches when they had first arrived. They were even more toned and muscular, they even looked a lot mature.
Hermione was now five foot nine instead if five foot seven inches. Her hair had been just passed her shoulder blades was now passed her waist. She had dyed her hair a light sandy blond colour with light golden blond high lights, it was definitely a change from her usual brown hair. Ginny had shot up from five feet five inches to Five feet eight inches. She no longer looked like a little girl, like Hermione she had grown into her curves in all the right places. She had allowed her hair to grow passed her bottom and had warm honey blond high lights through her hair.
They were all currently listening to a lecture from Mad Eye Moody, while Peter and Petunia were at st Mungos seeing a Doctor as Petunia had been being sick and very irritable over the past few weeks. Petunia was sitting along with Peter in Doctor Mina McFadden’s office.
The Doctor passed Petunia a goblet of the same potion Madam Pomfrey had given to Ron when he first discovered he was pregnant with the twins. Lily had drank the same potion just over a month ago, and she knew she was pregnant with Harry before her figure had been out lined in a bright blue light, and a single blue orb had accompanied it.
Petunia drank down the potion quickly as she hated the taste of most potions, at this one in particular wasn't any different either. After a few moments of waiting Petunia was out lined in a bright blue light, a blue orb also floated in mid air in front of her. The doctor smiled brightly and said "Congratulation miss Evans and Mr. Pettigrew you going to have a baby.”
Petunia and Peter were stunned and gaped at the Doctor in disbelieve. The Doctor grinned slightly and continued "As you have just seen you had one blue orb, which means you’re going to be the proud parents of a baby boy." She concluded "And from what I can tell from the size of the orb you are around about three and a half months pregnant."
After the Doctor had given them some leaflets on first time parents and given them an appointment for next month for Petunia's first scan they thanked the Doctor and left.
They returned to the auror head training quarters at the ministry. And had instantly met up with the others and informed them of the news, Lily had been thrilled as had the others.
But Lily was happy for another reason she had said "Well, at least now I don't have to surfer with pregnancy alone, at least someone apart from Ron will know what it's like to be pregnant and go through the sheer agony that is labour."
Harry had grinned "Well at least now I will have a play mate, and he thankfully for small mercies it won't be Dudley Dursley" Harry had said. Petunia had grimaced and replied "Don't worry Harry I have no intentions of naming my son Dudley." Peter had shuddered and added "Yes there is absolutely no way am I going to be the father to anyone called Dudley, that's more then I can willingly stand or tolerate."
It was the day of the wedding and Lily and Petunia had informed their parents they were both pregnant. Laney and Daniel had been extremely pleased to discover they would get two grandchildren. Nyah and Landon had been trilled when they heard they would also be getting a grandchild as well.
Petunia was currently stepping into her wedding gown. It was pure white, which was too late to change even with her current circumstances.
It was off the shoulder and was tight around her breast, but had been let out slightly around the waist because of her pregnancy. As at four months she was starting to show slightly, and you could tell if you looked up close. Her gown flared out slightly at the hips and down to the floor and trailed out behind her.
Her make up had been done by Lily, and her hair had been done by Hermione. It had put up in a tight pleat with a few curled strands framing the side of her face. She wore a small tiara made of pearls, she had a knee cap length veil that trail behind her pined on top of her head. She was wearing the pearl chocker and earrings her mother wore on her wedding day to hers and Lily's father, they were her something old.
She had painted her finger and toe nails pale blue, in regards to her something blue. She borrowed the ruby anklet bracelet off Lily that their mother had given to Lily to wear on her wedding day. Lily had instant she to was to wear it on her wedding day to Peter.
She wore the golden bracelet Peter had sent by owl that morning as her something new. With white high heeled shoes and a bouquet of red roses Petunia completed the final assemble.
Hermione was Petunia's maid of honour, she would have asked Lily but her younger sister was already married, and the maid of honour needed to be someone who was not married. Ginny, Lily, Alice Longbottom, who married Frank last Christmas was also expecting a baby boy in mid July. And Katie and Lindsay were Petunia's bride’s maids.
They were dressed in long spaghetti strapped gowns in pale pastel blue. Their hair has been curled and left to hang lose. They were wearing gold neck laces and small hoop earrings Petunia had given to them as gifts. They were wearing white high heeled shoes and had posies made of red roses.
Peter and the others were dressed in dark grey instead of the light grey suits pants and knee cap length jacket they wore at James's wedding. They had on white silk shirts, pastel blue silk tie and waist coat with a silver pattern embroider into the silk. And he and the others wore a single red rose on the lapels of their coats. Their shoes had been spit polished until you could practically see you face in them.
Peter had given his best man Remus, and his ushers James, Harry, and Sirius, Ron, and Frank pure gold bracelets as gifts. He was originally going to buy the bracelets in pure ivory silver, but thought better of it when he imagined his best man with a very painful reaction on his wedding day to the silver of the bracelet, seeing as his best man as a werewolf was highly and dangerously allergic to silver.
They all wore the ruby cufflinks James had gave to them on his wedding day to Lily. He had even gotten a pair for himself, as he had like what he had gotten the guys so much.
The wedding was to take place in grounds in the back of Potter manor at three a clock it was now two forty five. Petunia and the girls would be arriving from across the estate, where they had spent the night in the house built for Laney and Daniel, in less then twenty minutes time. Dumbledore had performed the ceremony, Petunia and Peter had said similar vows to what James and Lily had said. They were also bonded by their magic and lives after they had exchanged rings.
The golden and white glow that had surrounded them when they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, which in return completed the binding was just as bright as the light that had surrounded James and Lily. Everyone had clapped and cheered when Dumbledore had announced "It give me great pleasure to introduce to you Mr. Peter Shawn Pettigrew and Mrs. Petunia Katharine Pettigrew."
